Fantastic game. Much smaller than all the Souls games from FromSoftware, which might be its only drawback.

Having finished the original on PS3, I would say it doesn't leave you with that bitter taste that they just released something with better graphics; it truly is a masterpiece from every perspective.
I really liked the addition they made so you can get the Predator armor, although it's very, very difficult to acquire since you have to finish the game almost twice to collect all 26 coins needed in different worlds (pure white & pure black), and even in the mirrored appearance, which makes it even harder. Those who have played understand what I mean. Otherwise, the game remains dark, eerie, and relatively difficult. One could say it is the least difficult of all the Souls games from FromSoftware, although from NG+2 and onwards things get really tough.
Highly recommended for fans of the genre and ideal for someone who wants to enter the world of Souls games, since as I mentioned, it is the easiest of all the Souls games.

Έχοντας τερματίσει και το original στο ps3 θα έλεγα ότι δεν σου αφήνει αυτή την πικρή γεύση ότι απλά έβγαλαν κάτι με καλύτερα γραφικά είναι όντως ένα αριστούργημα από όλες τις απόψεις.
Μου άρεσε πολύ η προσθήκη που έβαλαν για να πάρεις την πανοπλία του Predator αν και είναι πολύ πολύ δύσκολο να την αποκτήσεις αφού πρέπει να τερματίσεις το παιχνίδι σχεδόν 2 φορές για να μαζέψεις και τα 26 coins που χρειάζονται σε διαφορετικούς κόσμους (pure white & pure black) και μάλιστα στην ανάποδη εμφάνιση κάτι που το κάνει ακόμα πιο δύσκολο.Όσοι έχουν παίξει καταλαβαίνουν τι λέω.Κατά τα άλλα το παιχνίδι παραμένει σκοτεινό απόκοσμο και σχετικά δύσκολο.Θα έλεγε κανείς ότι είναι το λιγότερο δύσκολο από όλα τα souls game της FromSoftware αν και από το ng +2 και μετά τα πράγματα δυσκολεύουν άσχημα.
Προτείνεται ανεπιφύλακτα για φαν του είδους και ιδανικό για κάποιον που θέλει να μπει στον κόσμο των souls games αφού όπως προανέφερα είναι το πιο εύκολο από όλα τα souls game.

Initially, it was my first souls game. I started playing it without knowing what would happen to me. As soon as I started playing and understood its philosophy and setup, I gave up! It seemed incredibly difficult and frustrating to me! In fact, I had left it for TWO YEARS! However, three weeks ago, I decided to give it another try, no matter how difficult it seemed to me (and I finished it), because it truly was the most difficult game I have ever played! As a result, after three days, I learned the game and enjoyed it like nothing else! The graphics are unbelievably beautiful! And the story is very, very nice! The weapons are exceptional, the animations, the mobs, the boss fights, it's something else!
I consider it one of the best games I have ever played in my life and I also feel bad because I underestimated it so much. I highly recommend it, of course, for those who have never played souls games, and even though I used to hate these games, now I have become the biggest fan! Αρχικά ήταν το πρώτο μου souls game. Ξεκίνησα να το πάρω χωρίς να ξέρω τι πρόκειται να μου συμβεί. Μόλις έβαλα να το παίξω και κατάλαβα λίγο την φιλοσοφία του και το στήσιμο του το παράτησα! Μου φάνηκε απίστευτα δύσκολο και εκνευριστικό! Μάλιστα το είχα αφήσει για ΔΥΟ ΧΡΟΝΙΑ! Ωστόσο πριν τρεις βδομάδες είπα να ασχοληθώ ξανά μαζί του όσο δύσκολο κι αν μου φαινόταν ( και το τερμάτισα )γιατί πραγματικά ήταν το πιο δύσκολο παιχνίδι που έχω παίξει! Having played all the games from FromSoftware after Demon Souls, I understood why many people prioritize graphics before gameplay. All of FromSoft's games have incredible world building and manage to transport you to their world, but with the graphics and sound, it feels like you're in a cinema and you can't take your eyes off the screen. Of course, the game also utilizes these graphics to the fullest! You have to remember every turn you took, otherwise you'll get lost, pay attention to every sound you hear because it could mean life or death, observe the details in the various movesets and spells in order to play your character to the limit. In the end, we have a FromSoft souls game with next-gen graphics and sound. It's a real pleasure that I haven't experienced even in ng++

It is clearly the first Souls game, and in my opinion, the least good. Otherwise, it is an amazing game, as all Soulsborne games are on a different level than any other games. The graphics of the remake are divine, and its gameplay is typical Souls. The only complaint is the bosses, who, although exceptional, do not compare to those in later games. As a first Souls game, it is a good start, as it is by far the easiest of its kind. I highly recommend it

Great game but the same price as Elden Ring and the Dark Souls trilogy with all 6 DLCs, and €25 more than Bloodborne with the DLC? And after 3 years, €40? Something got lost in translation. (Well, Sekiro is €70 after 6 years.) Is it not a game from 2009 with better graphics? The game is definitely epic, even though I still play it on PS3.

My experience with FromSoftware games started in 2018 when I bought the Xbox One S console on sale during Black Friday. So, my experience started with Dark Souls 3, then Sekiro, and then I played all the rest in the following order: Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Dark Souls 2, Elden Ring, and now I'm currently playing Demon's Souls on PlayStation 5.
I love all the games, each one has its own touch and aroma, even though the philosophy is the same. Each one has its own little details that define it and make it unique. And here, with Demon's Souls, I feel so familiar when playing it, but also so different. From the beginning, the graphics impress you, they are truly amazing. The combat system is the familiar one we have loved in the series, and the overall philosophy follows the known paths. If you are a fan of the series, you definitely buy it without a second thought.

Η εμπειρία μου με τα παιχνίδια της fromsoftware ξεκίνησε το 2018 όταν αγόρασα τότε την κονσόλα Xbox one S σε προσφορά που είχε βγει σε Black Friday. Η εμπειρία μου λοιπόν ξεκίνησε με το dark souls 3 έπειτα το Sekiro και ακολούθησαν ολα τα υπόλοιπα με την εξής σειρά: dark souls, blood borne, dark souls 2, Elden ring και τώρα παίζω τελευταίο το demon’s souls στο PlayStation 5.
Όλα τα παιχνίδια τα λατρεύω, το κάθε ένα έχει την δική του πινελιά και το δικό του άρωμα, παρόλο που είναι ίδια η φιλοσοφία. Το κάθε ένα έχει τις δικές του μικρές πινελιές που το προσδιορίζουν και το κάνουν ξεχωριστό. Έτσι και εδώ με το demo’s souls νιώθω τόσο οικείο όταν το παίζω αλλά και τόσο διαφορετικό. Εξαρχής σε εντυπωσιάζουν τα γραφικά, είναι πραγματικά υπέροχα. Το σύστημα μάχης είναι το γνωστό που έχουμε αγαπήσει στην σειρά και η όλη φιλοσοφία κινείται στα γνωστά μονοπάτια. εάν είστε φαν της σειράς εννοείτε πως το αγοράζετε χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη.

Epic 10/10. Great graphics, beautiful areas and combat, plenty of options for player customization. The first game that made me understand the new generation and why it's worth getting a PS5. The game is exclusively for people who have nothing else to do in their daily lives and spend 10-15 hours gaming per day. Unfortunately for me and other friends who don't have plenty of free time, the game is unsuitable because it simply requires many hours to seriously engage and learn moves, strategies, defense, attack, avoiding YouTube videos, etc. I tried it and got bored relatively quickly. It has nice graphics though, to be honest, and possibly very interesting as it progresses, but I no longer have the patience and free time to experiment

I remember back then, in the distant 2009, I found it on a store shelf on sale and bought it without knowing what it was. I played it, got frustrated with the difficulty, and abandoned it for a month. I returned to it, determined to learn it, and eventually, it became my first Platinum trophy.
The above is the essence of Demon's Souls, in a few words. It is a difficult game that doesn't hold the player's hand but instead constantly punishes them. However, when the player finally understands what they need to do and starts progressing, the feeling is incredible. The fact that Bluepoint essentially took the 2009 game and changed only the graphics, without altering the gameplay and mechanics, shows how well-crafted the original was.
And, although it may initially seem unfair to the player due to its difficulty, it is anything but - even the strongest bosses can become manageable and be defeated with the starting equipment if the player recognizes the patterns and the strategy they need to follow. It is not a game where power surpasses everything, as even with the best equipment in the game, a wrong move can cost dearly.
The freedom it gives to players is incredible, with no restrictions on equipment and magic combinations. Each player can create a character as they wish and, along the way, transform them into anything they want. Experimentation reaches new levels, especially in multiplayer, as there are even "clubs" for PvP, and player battles are incredibly interesting.
But beyond the fantastic gameplay, the world and characters are very well-written. The player gradually discovers information about what has happened, the characters, their nature, and everything in general, trying to connect the puzzle pieces to draw their conclusions. Even years later, the story remains a major topic of discussion in the community, with players constantly discovering new things or interpreting them in new ways.
The graphics of the remaster are incredible, and the aesthetics as well: a dark fantasy RPG with everything from towering castles and Mindflayers to dark swamps, dragons, and gods. Seeing all of this with such well-crafted 3D models, amazing effects, and zero loading times when transitioning from one area to another, the world of Demon's Souls is refreshed without changing the elements that made it unique from the beginning. It is one of the games that every PS5 owner should play, as long as they have a little patience.
Θυμάμαι τότε, το μακρινό 2009, το είχα βρει σε ράφι καταστήματος σε προσφορά και το πήρα δίχως να ξέρω τι είναι. Έπαιξα, μου έσπασε τα νεύρα η δυσκολία και το παράτησα για ένα μήνα. Επέστρεψα σε αυτό, πείσμωσα να το μάθω και τελικά, έγινε το πρώτο Platinum trophy μου.
Τα παραπάνω είναι η ουσία του Demon's Souls, με λίγα λόγια. Ένα παιχνίδι δύσκολο, που δεν παίρνει τον παίκτη από το χεράκι κι αντ' αυτού, θα τον τιμωρεί ασταμάτητα. Όμως, όταν τελικά καταλάβει τι πρέπει να κάνει και αρχίσει να προχωράει μπροστά, το συναίσθημα είναι τρομερό. Το γεγονός πως η Bluepoint, πρακτικά, πήρε το παιχνίδι του 2009 και του άλλαξε τα γραφικά, δίχως να παρέμβει στο gameplay και τους μηχανισμούς, δείχνει πόσο καλοφτιαγμένο ήταν το πρωτότυπο.
Και, καθότι δύσκολο, ίσως αρχικά φανεί άδικο προς τον παίκτη όμως κάθε άλλο - ακόμη και τα ισχυρότερα bosses μπορούν να γίνουν παιχνιδάκι και να αντιμετωπιστούν ακόμη και με τον αρχικό εξοπλισμό, αν ο παίκτης έχει αναγνωρίσει τα μοτίβα και τη στρατηγική που πρέπει να ακολουθήσει. Δεν είναι παιχνίδι όπου η δύναμη υπερτερεί όλων, αφού ακόμη και με τον καλύτερο εξοπλισμό του παιχνιδιού, μια λάθος κίνηση μπορεί να κοστίσει πολύ ακριβά.
Η ελευθερία που δίνει στους παίκτες είναι απίστευτη, χωρίς περιορισμούς σε συνδυασμούς εξοπλισμού και μαγείας. Ο καθένας φτιάχνει έναν χαρακτήρα όπως θέλει και στην πορεία, τον μετατρέπει σε οτιδήποτε άλλο θέλει. Ο πειραματισμός φτάνει σε άλλα επίπεδα κι αυτό φαίνεται κυρίως στο multiplayer, αφού υπάρχουν ακόμη και «λέσχες» για PvP και οι μάχες μεταξύ παικτών έχουν τρομερό ενδιαφέρον.
Αλλά πέραν του φανταστικού gameplay, ο κόσμος και οι χαρακτήρες είναι πολύ καλογραμμένοι. Ο παίκτης ανακαλύπτει σταδιακά πληροφορίες για όσα έχουν συμβεί, για τους χαρακτήρες, τη φύση τους και γενικότερα τα πάντα, προσπαθώντας να συνδέσει τα κομμάτια του παζλ για να βγάλει τα συμπεράσματά του. Ακόμη και τόσα χρόνια αργότερα, η ιστορία παραμένει μεγάλο θέμα συζήτησης στην κοινότητα, με τους παίκτες να ανακαλύπτουν πράγματα διαρκώς ή να τα ερμηνεύουν με νέους τρόπους.
Τα γραφικά του remaster είναι απίστευτα και η αισθητική επίσης: πρότυπο dark fantasy RPG με οτιδήποτε από ψηλά κάστρα και Mindflayers μέχρι σκοτεινούς βάλτους, δράκους και θεούς. Βλέποντας όλα αυτά με τόσο καλοφτιαγμένα τρισδιάστατα μοντέλα, φοβερά εφέ και μηδενικούς χρόνους αναμονής στη μετάβαση από περιοχή σε περιοχή, ο κόσμος του Demon's Souls φρεσκάρεται χωρίς να αλλάζουν τα στοιχεία που το έκαναν ξεχωριστό εξ αρχής. Είναι από τα παιχνίδια που πρέπει να παίξει κάθε κάτοχος PS5, αρκεί να έχει λίγη υπομονή.

Just got the platinum, so I'm leaving this review here as a tribute. The game simply rocks both in terms of visuals and gameplay. It's not a game for everyone, it's difficult and requires a lot of patience and perseverance, but it rewards you like all the souls games that I have honored. The company did an incredible job with this remake, remaining faithful to the original. I did three walkthroughs and didn't get bored for a minute, as it has incredible replay value and thanks to the tendency system, which changes the world based on the player's actions, offering a new dynamic. I consider it one of the best titles on the PS5, as it was the reason I bought the console. I recommend everyone to at least try it, it's worth it and it's the most powerful in terms of graphics even after 2 years. From me, it's a 10/10. If someone comes and tells me it's difficult and gave up, okay, I understand, but that doesn't negate the fact that it's a gem, just like all the games from software. Next up is Elden Ring.

Δεν είναι παιχνίδι για όλους είναι δύσκολο απαιτεί πολύ υπομονή και επιμονή αλλά σε ανταμείβει όπως και όλα τα souls παιχνίδια τα οποία έχω τιμήσει δεοντος. Η εταιρία έκανε απίστευτη δουλειά σε αυτό το remake παραμένοντας απόλυτα πιστό στο original. Έκανα τρία walkthrough και δε βαρέθηκα ούτε λεπτό καθώς έχει απιστευτο replay value αλλά και χάρις στο σύστημα tendency όπου σύμφωνα με τις πράξεις του παίχτη αλλάζει ο κόσμος προσφέροντας νέα δυναμική. Θεωρώ ότι είναι από τους καλύτερους τίτλους του ps5 καθώς ήταν και ο λόγος που αγόρασα τη κονσόλα. Προτείνω στο καθένα έστω να το δοκιμάσει αξίζει με το παραπάνω είναι ότι ποιο δυνατό σε επίπεδο γραφικών υπάρχει τώρα ακόμα και μετά από 2 χρόνια. Από εμένα είναι 10/10. Αν πάλι έρθει κάποιος και μου πει ότι είναι δύσκολο και το παράτησε οκ το καταλαβαίνω αλλά αυτό δεν αναιρεί το γεγονός ότι είναι διαμάντι καθώς και όλα τα παιχνίδια της from software. Σειρά έχει elden ring.
Kids, it's an amazing game if you are a fanatic about Souls games, even if you are a beginner it's a very strong start to begin, but you should know one thing, the world of it pulls you in and captivates you!!!

I can't understand how this game has so many positive reviews, or maybe I just don't know how to play games. But as much as I played, it was one of the worst games I have ever played. Very frustrating that it left you far behind when you lost, and also it bothered me that everything was so robotic, my goodness, the physics, the attacks, your character couldn't even jump. It was like I was playing a game from the PS2.
Δε μπορω να καταλαβω πως αυτο το παιχνιδι εχει τοσες πολλες θετικες κριτικες η μαλλον εγω δεν ξερω να παιζω παιχνιδια. Αλλα οσο επαιξα ηταν ενα απο τα χειροτερα παιχνιδια που εχω παιξει. Πολυ σπαστικο που σε αφηνε πολυ πισω οταν εχανες και επισης μου την εδωσε που ηταν ολα τοσο ρομποτικα βρε παιδι μου, τα physics, οι επιθεσεις, δε μπορουσε καν να χοροπηδησει ο χαρακτηρας σου. Λες και επαιζα game του ps2.

This particular game was the first of its kind for me and I got addicted from the first minutes! Incredible graphics and sound, enjoyable and addictive gameplay that you never get bored of! I have finished it 4 times, achieved platinum and I still play it! I believe it should not be missing from any collection
Το συγκεκριμένο game ήταν το 1ο τους είδους για μένα και εθίστηκα από τα πρώτα λεπτά! Απίστευτα γραφικά και ήχος, απολαυστικο και εθιστικο gameplay που δεν το βαριέσαι με τίποτα! Το έχω τερματίσει 4 φορές, έχω πάρει platinum και ακόμη παίζω! Θεωρώ ότι δεν πρέπει να λείπει από καμιά συλλογή
It is one of the few games that have been made for the new generation of consoles and it is a real pleasure, especially in the technical aspect. Having played the original game on the PS3, I can truly say that I have been "blown away" by the work that has been done in this remade version. The gameplay is for those who enjoy this Souls-like style of game, however, I must say that some work has been done to better explain certain things to a new player who has not dealt with such style of games before (e.g. there are clearer descriptions of what various items do). For me, it has the best atmosphere out of all the Souls games, (perhaps with the only exception being Bloodborne).
Είναι από τα λίγα παιχνίδια που έχουν φτιαχτεί για τη νέα γενιά κονσολών και είναι πραγματική απόλαυση, ειδικά στον τεχνικό τομέα του. Έχοντας παίξει και το πρωτότυπο παιχνίδι στο PS3, πραγματικά μπορώ να πω ότι μου έχει "πέσει το σαγόνι στο πάτωμα" με τη δουλειά που έχει γίνει σε αυτή την remade έκδοση. Το gameplay είναι για όσους τους αρέσει αυτό το Souls-like στυλ παιχνιδιού, πρέπει να πω πάντως ότι έχει γίνει κάποια δουλειά να εξηγηθούν κάποια πράγματα καλύτερα σε έναν νέο παίχτη που δεν έχει ασχοληθεί με τέτοιο στυλ παιχνιδιών (π.χ. υπάρχουν πιο ξεκάθαρες περιγραφές τι κάνουν τα διάφορα αντικείμενα). Για εμένα έχει την καλύτερη ατμόσφαιρα από όλα τα Souls παιχνίδια, (ίσως με μόνη εξαίρεση το Bloodborne).
The game is simply the definition of addiction. You won't want to turn off the PlayStation. A little reading on the internet for beginners, patience for 2-3 hours to familiarize yourself, and you will experience an unforgettable gaming experience. I was afraid with what I was reading and luckily I dared and got it!!!
Το παιχνίδι είναι απλά ο ορισμός του εθισμού. Δεν θα θες να κλείσεις το PlayStation. Λίγο διάβασμα στο internet για τους αρχάριους , υπομονή για 2-3 ώρες να εξοικειωθείς και θα ζήσεις μια ανεπανάληπτη gaming εμπειρία. Το φοβόμουν με αυτά που διάβαζα και ευτυχώς που τόλμησα και το πήρα !!!
I played with the same character 3 times up to NG++ and didn't get bored for a second. Graphics, sound, and atmosphere are all on another level. The gameplay was enjoyable and quite good, with some minor flaws since the same combination could do two different things (i.e., instant L-analog + R2 breaks the opponent's defense, but sustained L-analog + R2 does the classic hit with the right hand). However, in the heat of battle, the instant from the sustained is very close. It's something that can rarely happen and doesn't affect my review at all.
If someone has no experience with FromSoftware games, it's worth entering the world of Souls with Demon's. The game is difficult only until you learn to play correctly and with patience. After that, it's smooth sailing.
Έπαιξα με τον ίδιο χαρακτήρα 3 φορές ως και το NG++ μέχρι το platinum και δεν βαρέθηκα δευτερόλεπτο. Γραφικά, ήχος και ατμόσφαιρα όλα σε άλλο επίπεδο.
Ο χειρισμός ήταν απολαυστικός και αρκετά καλός, με κάποιες μικρές ατέλειες αφού με τον ίδιο συνδιασμό έκανες 2 διαφορετικά πράγματα (δηλαδή στιγμιαία L-αναλογικο + R2 σπας την αντίπαλη άμυνα αλλά και με παρατεταμένο L-αναλογικο + R2 έκανες το κλασικό hit με το δεξί χέρι). Πάνω στον πανικό της μάχης όμως το στιγμιαίο από το παρατεταμένο είναι πολύ κοντά. Είναι κάτι που μπορεί να σου τύχει σπάνια και δεν επηρεάζει καθόλου την κριτική μου.
Αν κάποιος δεν έχει καμία εμπειρία με παιχνίδια της fromsoftware αξίζει να μπει στον κόσμο των souls με το demon's. Το παιχνίδι είναι δύσκολο μόνο μέχρι να μάθεις να παίζεις σωστά και με υπομονή. Μετά το speedrun πάει σύννεφο.
It must have been over 10 years ago when I read an ad that a Demon's Souls game was being sold for the PS3. I rushed to Pasalimani and bought it from a guy who had told me that he had been playing it continuously for two months to finish it. It was the Japanese version, if I remember correctly, as it hadn't been released in Europe at the time. I start playing and lose to the tutorial... That was it... I gave up... The era of the PS3 and Dark Souls, which was the ultimate gaming experience that, while not giving you any help, brought out the most unprecedented and primal emotions, followed by Dark Souls 2 in the same footsteps as the previous one but a little more austere, and finally Dark Souls 3 on the PS4, which was the most complete in the series in my opinion. After finishing all three of these exceptional games with intensity and anticipation in every step you took and in every boss that made the buttons on the controller rust from sweat, the longing for Demon's Souls, which I didn't give the attention it deserved back then, still remained... The PS5 came and while waiting for Elden Ring, I decided to play it just to see the graphics by Bluepoint Games... The game is simply amazing... I believe that the company, with the improvements made in the remake, managed to provide the game and the series in general with the two elements that were missing due to the capabilities of the PS3 and even the PS4, graphics and smoothness. Now the game runs incredibly well at 60fps, maximizing the real-time battles, as in the previous games, you pressed R1 and it hit after a quarter of a second. You know the rest... YOU DIED until it left an imprint on the screen... I believe that with these improvements, the game has become much more accessible - I won't say easy - for someone who shows the necessary patience and perseverance. I wish they would do the same for the rest of the series, I would have a reason to pick them up again, but after this, the bar has been set very high, let's move on to Elden Ring. In conclusion, anyone who has played it before or anyone who is still out there and has never dealt with the series, it is definitely worth buying.
Πρέπει να ήταν πάνω από 10 χρόνια πίσω όταν διάβασα μία αγγελία ότι πουλιέται ένα Demon's Souls για το PS3. Έτρεξα κάπου στο Πασαλιμάνι και το πήρα από ένα παλικάρι που μου είχε πει ότι έπαιζε επί δύο μήνες συνεχόμενα για να το τελειώσει. Ήταν η Ιαπωνική έκδοση αν θυμάμαι καλά καθώς στην αρχή δεν είχε κυκλοφορήσει στην Ευρώπη. Ξεκινάω να παίζω και χάνω από το tutorial...Αυτό ήταν...το παράτησα... πέρασε η εποχή του PS3 και του Dark Souls το οποίο ήταν η υπέρτατη εμπειρία του gaming που ενώ δεν σου έδινε καμία βοήθεια σου έβγαζε τα πιο πρωτόγνωρα και πρωτόγονα συναισθήματα, ακολούθησε το Dark Souls 2 στα ίδια πατήματα με το προηγούμενο αλλά λίγο πιο άνοστο και τέλος το Dark Souls 3 στο PS4 το οποίο ήταν το πιο ολοκληρωμένο της σειράς κατά τη γνώμη μου. Τελειώνοντάς τα και τα τρία εξαιρετικά αυτά παιχνίδια με την ένταση και την αγωνία σε κάθε πέτρα που πατούσες και στο κάθε boss που έκανε τις βίδες από το χειριστήριο να σκουριάζουν από τον ιδρώτα είχε μείνει ακόμα το απωθημένο του Demon's Souls που δεν του έδωσα τότε την προσοχή που του άξιζε... Ήρθε το PS5 και στην αναμονή του Elden Ring είπα να το βάλω έτσι για να δω τα γραφικά της Bluepoint Games... Το παιχνίδι απλά δεν υπάρχει... Θεωρώ ότι η εν λόγω εταιρεία με τις βελτιώσεις που έκανε στο remake κατάφερε να δώσει στο παιχνίδι και στη σειρά γενικότερα τα δύο στοιχεία που της έλειπαν λόγω δυνατοτήτων της πλατφόρμας του PS3 άντε και του PS4, γραφικά και ομαλότητα. Πλέον το παιχνίδι τρέχει απίστευτα εξαιρετικά στα 60fps βοηθώντας στον μέγιστο βαθμό τις real time μάχες αφού στα προηγούμενα πατούσες το R1 και χτυπούσε μετά από κανα τέταρτο. Τα υπόλοιπα τα ξέρετε... YOU DIED μέχρι να μείνει αποτύπωμα στην οθόνη... Θεωρώ ότι με τις βελτιώσεις αυτές το παιχνίδι έγινε πολύ πιο στρωτό - δεν θα πω εύκολο - για κάποιον που θα δείξει τη δέουσα υπομονή και επιμονή. Μακάρι να έφτιαχναν έτσι και την υπόλοιπη σειρά θα είχα ένα κίνητρο να τα ξαναπιάσω απλά μετά από αυτό ο πήχης ανέβηκε πολύ ψηλά πάμε για το Elden Ring μετά. Συνοψίζοντας λοιπόν όποιος το είχε παίξει παλιά αλλά και όποιος έχει απομείνει εκεί έξω που δεν έχει ασχοληθεί ποτέ με τη σειρά αξίζει με χίλια να το αγοράσει.
Simply wonderful if you are a fan of the genre, you know what to expect. For everyone else, don't bother if you're expecting something easy, it's a challenging game and anyone who doesn't expect that will bury it for no reason!!!
Απλά υπέροχο εάν είσαι Fan του είδους ξέρεις τι περιμένεις. Για όλους τους άλλους μην το περνιέται εάν περιμένετε κάτι εύκολο είναι δύσκολο παιχνίδι και οποίος δεν το περιμένει θα το θάψει τσάμπα !!!
I have played all the Souls games and I can say that they are among my favorites. I enjoyed it and I will continue since you never stop in a game passage. The graphics provided by bluepoint are unparalleled. The ps5 shows its power with the loading screens completely changing the game and even the small period you waited between countless deaths is now a thing of the past. I have the impression that for someone who plays a fromsoftware game for the first time on the PS5, they will struggle a bit at first, but if they get used to it, they won't be able to put it down. Also, I think for those who are fans of graphics, seeing and playing this game will feel somewhat different, seeing how time has affected for example Dark Souls 1, which is a shame because it is a very good game, but in comparison to the graphics of Demons Souls Remake, it is far behind.
Εχω παίξει όλα τα souls και μπορώ να πω ότι είναι από τα πιο αγαπημένα μου. Το ευχαριστηθηκα και θα συνεχίσω μιας και δεν σταματάς ποτέ σε ένα πέρασμα του παιχνιδιού. Τα γραφικά που μας έδωσε η bluepoint, είναι ανεπανάλπτα. Το ps5 δείχνει την δύναμη του με τα loading screens να αλλάζουν τελείως το παιχνίδι και ακόμα και αυτό το μικρό διάστημα που περίμενες ανάμεσα στα αμέτρητα deaths σου πλέον είναι παρελθόν. Έχω την εντύπωση ότι για κάποιον που παίρνει πρώτη φορά παιχνίδι της fromsoftware στο PS5 , θα δυσκολευτεί λίγο στην αρχή, αλλά αν το συνηθίσει δεν θα μπορεί να το αφήσει. Επίσης νομίζω επίσης για αυτούς που είναι λάτρεις των γραφικών ,βλέποντας και πάιζοντας αυτό το παιχνίδι θα τους φανεί κάπως, βλέποντας πώς ο χρόνος έχει βάψει για παράδειγμα το Dark Souls 1 , που είναι κρίμα γιατί είναι ένα πάρα πολύ καλό παιχνίδι, αλλά σε σύγκριση με τα γραφικά του Demons Souls Remake απέχει παρασάγκας.
Well, I played the game with a mage. Carefully, if you play it, for every move you make, you really need a guide next to you.
At first, it seemed very difficult to me because I wasn't used to playing with a shield (because of Bloodborne), but after 2-3 bosses, I got the hang of it.
The graphics are perfect and it has the option of 30fps with Ray Tracing.
The PVE is very enjoyable. Carefully, with Tendency, the left eye, read a guide carefully about how it works, because it affects the game to some extent (to have it under control, I recommend playing offline).
Most people in PvP are clueless, they don't follow the rules of PvP (Fromsoftware) which require not using healing while fighting anyone (just for your information).

Λοιπόν το παιχνίδι το έπαιξα με μάγο. Προσεκτικά αμα το παίξετε για την κάθε κίνηση που θα κάνετε θέλει ειλικρινά ένα guide από διπλα.
Στην αρχή μου φαινόταν πολύ δύσκολο επειδή δεν είχα συνηθίσει να παίζω με ασπίδα (λόγου του bloodborne) αλλά μετά από 2-3 boss μπήκα στο νόημα.
Τα γραφικά τέλεια έχει και την επιλογή 30fps με Ray Tracing.
Το PVE πολύ ευχαριστώ. Προσεκτικά με το Tendency είναι το μάτι Αριστερά διαβάστε προσεκτικά ενα guide για το συγκεκριμένο πράγμα πως δουλεύει, επειδή επηρεάζει το game σε έναν βαθμό (για να το έχετε υπό ελέγχω σας προτείνω να παίζετε σε offline).
Το PvP οι περισσότεροι είναι άσχετοι, δε τηρούν των κανόνα του PvP (Fromsoftware) προϋποθέτει να μη βάζετε heal την ωρα που παλεύεις με όποιον δηποτε (ενημερωτικά).

Having finished all the Dark Souls, Bloodborne, it was time to get it blindly.
I may have felt like I was playing Dark Souls 3, but it doesn't matter.
For those who don't know what game it is, it's good to watch a review first. It's difficult and not for everyone. It's a shame to waste your money.

Το 1ο μου παιχνίδι που πήρα για το Ps5.
Έχοντας τερματίσει όλα τα Dark souls , bloodborne , ήρθε η στιγμή να το πάρω με κλειστά μάτια.
Μπορεί να ένιωθα ότι παίζω dark souls 3 όμως δεν έχει καμία σημασία.
Όσοι δεν γνωρίζετε τι παιχνίδι είναι , καλό είναι να δείτε κάνα review πρώτα. Είναι δύσκολο και δεν είναι για όλους. Είναι κρίμα να πάνε χαμένα τα χρήματα σας.
Στους υπολοίπους , καλό λιωσιμο !

I really liked the addition they made so you can get the Predator armor, although it's very, very difficult to acquire since you have to finish the game almost twice to collect all 26 coins needed in different worlds (pure white & pure black), and even in the mirrored appearance, which makes it even harder. Those who have played understand what I mean. Otherwise, the game remains dark, eerie, and relatively difficult. One could say it is the least difficult of all the Souls games from FromSoftware, although from NG+2 and onwards things get really tough.
Highly recommended for fans of the genre and ideal for someone who wants to enter the world of Souls games, since as I mentioned, it is the easiest of all the Souls games.

Μου άρεσε πολύ η προσθήκη που έβαλαν για να πάρεις την πανοπλία του Predator αν και είναι πολύ πολύ δύσκολο να την αποκτήσεις αφού πρέπει να τερματίσεις το παιχνίδι σχεδόν 2 φορές για να μαζέψεις και τα 26 coins που χρειάζονται σε διαφορετικούς κόσμους (pure white & pure black) και μάλιστα στην ανάποδη εμφάνιση κάτι που το κάνει ακόμα πιο δύσκολο.Όσοι έχουν παίξει καταλαβαίνουν τι λέω.Κατά τα άλλα το παιχνίδι παραμένει σκοτεινό απόκοσμο και σχετικά δύσκολο.Θα έλεγε κανείς ότι είναι το λιγότερο δύσκολο από όλα τα souls game της FromSoftware αν και από το ng +2 και μετά τα πράγματα δυσκολεύουν άσχημα.
Προτείνεται ανεπιφύλακτα για φαν του είδους και ιδανικό για κάποιον που θέλει να μπει στον κόσμο των souls games αφού όπως προανέφερα είναι το πιο εύκολο από όλα τα souls game.

Μου άρεσε πολύ η προσθήκη που έβαλαν για να πάρεις την πανοπλία του Predator αν και είναι πολύ πολύ δύσκολο να την αποκτήσεις αφού πρέπει να τερματίσεις το παιχνίδι σχεδόν 2 φορές για να μαζέψεις και τα 26 coins που χρειάζονται σε διαφορετικούς κόσμους (pure white & pure black) και μάλιστα στην ανάποδη εμφάνιση κάτι που το κάνει ακόμα πιο δύσκολο.Όσοι έχουν παίξει καταλαβαίνουν τι λέω.Κατά τα άλλα το παιχνίδι παραμένει σκοτεινό απόκοσμο και σχετικά δύσκολο.Θα έλεγε κανείς ότι είναι το λιγότερο δύσκολο από όλα τα souls game της FromSoftware αν και από το ng +2 και μετά τα πράγματα δυσκολεύουν άσχημα.
Προτείνεται ανεπιφύλακτα για φαν του είδους και ιδανικό για κάποιον που θέλει να μπει στον κόσμο των souls games αφού όπως προανέφερα είναι το πιο εύκολο από όλα τα souls game.

Αρχικά ήταν το πρώτο μου souls game. Ξεκίνησα να το πάρω χωρίς να ξέρω τι πρόκειται να μου συμβεί. Μόλις έβαλα να το παίξω και κατάλαβα λίγο την φιλοσοφία του και το στήσιμο του το παράτησα! Μου φάνηκε απίστευτα δύσκολο και εκνευριστικό! Μάλιστα το είχα αφήσει για ΔΥΟ ΧΡΟΝΙΑ! Ωστόσο πριν τρεις βδομάδες είπα να ασχοληθώ ξανά μαζί του όσο δύσκολο κι αν μου φαινόταν ( και το τερμάτισα )γιατί πραγματικά ήταν το πιο δύσκολο παιχνίδι που έχω παίξει! Ως αποτέλεσμα μετά από τρεις μέρες να το έχω μάθει το παιχνίδι και να το ευχαριστιέμαι όσο τίποτε άλλο! Τα γραφικά είναι εξωπραγματικά όμορφα! Και το story του είναι πάρα πάρα πολύ ωραίο! Having played all the games from FromSoftware after Demon Souls, I understood why many people prioritize graphics before gameplay. All of FromSoft's games have incredible world building and manage to transport you to their world, but with the graphics and sound, it feels like you're in a cinema and you can't take your eyes off the screen. Of course, the game also utilizes these graphics to the fullest! You have to remember every turn you took, otherwise you'll get lost, pay attention to every sound you hear because it could mean life or death, observe the details in the various movesets and spells in order to play your character to the limit. In the end, we have a FromSoft souls game with next-gen graphics and sound. It's a real pleasure that I haven't experienced even in ng++

It is clearly the first Souls game, and in my opinion, the least good. Otherwise, it is an amazing game, as all Soulsborne games are on a different level than any other games. The graphics of the remake are divine, and its gameplay is typical Souls. The only complaint is the bosses, who, although exceptional, do not compare to those in later games. Great game but the same price as Elden Ring and the Dark Souls trilogy with all 6 DLCs, and €25 more than Bloodborne with the DLC? And after 3 years, €40? Something got lost in translation. (Well, Sekiro is €70 after 6 years.) Is it not a game from 2009 with better graphics? The game is definitely epic, even though I still play it on PS3.

My experience with FromSoftware games started in 2018 when I bought the Xbox One S console on sale during Black Friday. So, my experience started with Dark Souls 3, then Sekiro, and then I played all the rest in the following order: Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Dark Souls 2, Elden Ring, and now I'm currently playing Demon's Souls on PlayStation 5.
I love all the games, each one has its own touch and aroma, even though the philosophy is the same. Each one has its own little details that define it and make it unique. And here, with Demon's Souls, I feel so familiar when playing it, but also so different. From the beginning, the graphics impress you, they are truly amazing. The combat system is the familiar one we have loved in the series, and the overall philosophy follows the known paths. If you are a fan of the series, you definitely buy it without a second thought.

Η εμπειρία μου με τα παιχνίδια της fromsoftware ξεκίνησε το 2018 όταν αγόρασα τότε την κονσόλα Xbox one S σε προσφορά που είχε βγει σε Black Friday. Η εμπειρία μου λοιπόν ξεκίνησε με το dark souls 3 έπειτα το Sekiro και ακολούθησαν ολα τα υπόλοιπα με την εξής σειρά: dark souls, blood borne, dark souls 2, Elden ring και τώρα παίζω τελευταίο το demon’s souls στο PlayStation 5.
Όλα τα παιχνίδια τα λατρεύω, το κάθε ένα έχει την δική του πινελιά και το δικό του άρωμα, παρόλο που είναι ίδια η φιλοσοφία. Το κάθε ένα έχει τις δικές του μικρές πινελιές που το προσδιορίζουν και το κάνουν ξεχωριστό. Έτσι και εδώ με το demo’s souls νιώθω τόσο οικείο όταν το παίζω αλλά και τόσο διαφορετικό. Εξαρχής σε εντυπωσιάζουν τα γραφικά, είναι πραγματικά υπέροχα. Το σύστημα μάχης είναι το γνωστό που έχουμε αγαπήσει στην σειρά και η όλη φιλοσοφία κινείται στα γνωστά μονοπάτια. εάν είστε φαν της σειράς εννοείτε πως το αγοράζετε χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη.

Epic 10/10. Great graphics, beautiful areas and combat, plenty of options for player customization. The first game that made me understand the new generation and why it's worth getting a PS5. The game is exclusively for people who have nothing else to do in their daily lives and spend 10-15 hours gaming per day. Unfortunately for me and other friends who don't have plenty of free time, the game is unsuitable because it simply requires many hours to seriously engage and learn moves, strategies, defense, attack, avoiding YouTube videos, etc. I tried it and got bored relatively quickly. I remember back then, in the distant 2009, I found it on a store shelf on sale and bought it without knowing what it was. I played it, got frustrated with the difficulty, and abandoned it for a month. I returned to it, determined to learn it, and eventually, it became my first Platinum trophy.
The above is the essence of Demon's Souls, in a few words. It is a difficult game that doesn't hold the player's hand but instead constantly punishes them. However, when the player finally understands what they need to do and starts progressing, the feeling is incredible. The fact that Bluepoint essentially took the 2009 game and changed only the graphics, without altering the gameplay and mechanics, shows how well-crafted the original was.
And, although it may initially seem unfair to the player due to its difficulty, it is anything but - even the strongest bosses can become manageable and be defeated with the starting equipment if the player recognizes the patterns and the strategy they need to follow. It is not a game where power surpasses everything, as even with the best equipment in the game, a wrong move can cost dearly.
The freedom it gives to players is incredible, with no restrictions on equipment and magic combinations. Each player can create a character as they wish and, along the way, transform them into anything they want. Experimentation reaches new levels, especially in multiplayer, as there are even "clubs" for PvP, and player battles are incredibly interesting.
But beyond the fantastic gameplay, the world and characters are very well-written. The player gradually discovers information about what has happened, the characters, their nature, and everything in general, trying to connect the puzzle pieces to draw their conclusions. Even years later, the story remains a major topic of discussion in the community, with players constantly discovering new things or interpreting them in new ways.
The graphics of the remaster are incredible, and the aesthetics as well: a dark fantasy RPG with everything from towering castles and Mindflayers to dark swamps, dragons, and gods. Seeing all of this with such well-crafted 3D models, amazing effects, and zero loading times when transitioning from one area to another, the world of Demon's Souls is refreshed without changing the elements that made it unique from the beginning. It is one of the games that every PS5 owner should play, as long as they have a little patience.
Θυμάμαι τότε, το μακρινό 2009, το είχα βρει σε ράφι καταστήματος σε προσφορά και το πήρα δίχως να ξέρω τι είναι. Έπαιξα, μου έσπασε τα νεύρα η δυσκολία και το παράτησα για ένα μήνα. Επέστρεψα σε αυτό, πείσμωσα να το μάθω και τελικά, έγινε το πρώτο Platinum trophy μου.
Τα παραπάνω είναι η ουσία του Demon's Souls, με λίγα λόγια. Ένα παιχνίδι δύσκολο, που δεν παίρνει τον παίκτη από το χεράκι κι αντ' αυτού, θα τον τιμωρεί ασταμάτητα. Όμως, όταν τελικά καταλάβει τι πρέπει να κάνει και αρχίσει να προχωράει μπροστά, το συναίσθημα είναι τρομερό. Το γεγονός πως η Bluepoint, πρακτικά, πήρε το παιχνίδι του 2009 και του άλλαξε τα γραφικά, δίχως να παρέμβει στο gameplay και τους μηχανισμούς, δείχνει πόσο καλοφτιαγμένο ήταν το πρωτότυπο.
Και, καθότι δύσκολο, ίσως αρχικά φανεί άδικο προς τον παίκτη όμως κάθε άλλο - ακόμη και τα ισχυρότερα bosses μπορούν να γίνουν παιχνιδάκι και να αντιμετωπιστούν ακόμη και με τον αρχικό εξοπλισμό, αν ο παίκτης έχει αναγνωρίσει τα μοτίβα και τη στρατηγική που πρέπει να ακολουθήσει. Δεν είναι παιχνίδι όπου η δύναμη υπερτερεί όλων, αφού ακόμη και με τον καλύτερο εξοπλισμό του παιχνιδιού, μια λάθος κίνηση μπορεί να κοστίσει πολύ ακριβά.
Η ελευθερία που δίνει στους παίκτες είναι απίστευτη, χωρίς περιορισμούς σε συνδυασμούς εξοπλισμού και μαγείας. Ο καθένας φτιάχνει έναν χαρακτήρα όπως θέλει και στην πορεία, τον μετατρέπει σε οτιδήποτε άλλο θέλει. Ο πειραματισμός φτάνει σε άλλα επίπεδα κι αυτό φαίνεται κυρίως στο multiplayer, αφού υπάρχουν ακόμη και «λέσχες» για PvP και οι μάχες μεταξύ παικτών έχουν τρομερό ενδιαφέρον.
Αλλά πέραν του φανταστικού gameplay, ο κόσμος και οι χαρακτήρες είναι πολύ καλογραμμένοι. Ο παίκτης ανακαλύπτει σταδιακά πληροφορίες για όσα έχουν συμβεί, για τους χαρακτήρες, τη φύση τους και γενικότερα τα πάντα, προσπαθώντας να συνδέσει τα κομμάτια του παζλ για να βγάλει τα συμπεράσματά του. Ακόμη και τόσα χρόνια αργότερα, η ιστορία παραμένει μεγάλο θέμα συζήτησης στην κοινότητα, με τους παίκτες να ανακαλύπτουν πράγματα διαρκώς ή να τα ερμηνεύουν με νέους τρόπους.
Τα γραφικά του remaster είναι απίστευτα και η αισθητική επίσης: πρότυπο dark fantasy RPG με οτιδήποτε από ψηλά κάστρα και Mindflayers μέχρι σκοτεινούς βάλτους, δράκους και θεούς. Βλέποντας όλα αυτά με τόσο καλοφτιαγμένα τρισδιάστατα μοντέλα, φοβερά εφέ και μηδενικούς χρόνους αναμονής στη μετάβαση από περιοχή σε περιοχή, ο κόσμος του Demon's Souls φρεσκάρεται χωρίς να αλλάζουν τα στοιχεία που το έκαναν ξεχωριστό εξ αρχής. Είναι από τα παιχνίδια που πρέπει να παίξει κάθε κάτοχος PS5, αρκεί να έχει λίγη υπομονή.

Just got the platinum, so I'm leaving this review here as a tribute. The game simply rocks both in terms of visuals and gameplay. It's not a game for everyone, it's difficult and requires a lot of patience and perseverance, but it rewards you like all the souls games that I have honored. The company did an incredible job with this remake, remaining faithful to the original. I did three walkthroughs and didn't get bored for a minute, as it has incredible replay value and thanks to the tendency system, which changes the world based on the player's actions, offering a new dynamic. I consider it one of the best titles on the PS5, as it was the reason I bought the console. I recommend everyone to at least try it, it's worth it and it's the most powerful in terms of graphics even after 2 years. From me, it's a 10/10. If someone comes and tells me it's difficult and gave up, okay, I understand, but that doesn't negate the fact that it's a gem, just like all the games from software. Next up is Elden Ring.
Μόλις πήρα τη πλατίνα, αφήνω λοιπόν αυτή εδώ τη κριτική ως φόρο τιμής. Το παιχνίδι απλά τα σπάει τόσο σε οπτικό ακουστικό τομεα όσο και σε gameplay. Δεν είναι παιχνίδι για όλους είναι δύσκολο απαιτεί πολύ υπομονή και επιμονή αλλά σε ανταμείβει όπως και όλα τα souls παιχνίδια τα οποία έχω τιμήσει δεοντος. Η εταιρία έκανε απίστευτη δουλειά σε αυτό το remake παραμένοντας απόλυτα πιστό στο original. Έκανα τρία walkthrough και δε βαρέθηκα ούτε λεπτό καθώς έχει απιστευτο replay value αλλά και χάρις στο σύστημα tendency όπου σύμφωνα με τις πράξεις του παίχτη αλλάζει ο κόσμος προσφέροντας νέα δυναμική. Θεωρώ ότι είναι από τους καλύτερους τίτλους του ps5 καθώς ήταν και ο λόγος που αγόρασα τη κονσόλα. Προτείνω στο καθένα έστω να το δοκιμάσει αξίζει με το παραπάνω είναι ότι ποιο δυνατό σε επίπεδο γραφικών υπάρχει τώρα ακόμα και μετά από 2 χρόνια. Από εμένα είναι 10/10. Αν πάλι έρθει κάποιος και μου πει ότι είναι δύσκολο και το παράτησε οκ το καταλαβαίνω αλλά αυτό δεν αναιρεί το γεγονός ότι είναι διαμάντι καθώς και όλα τα παιχνίδια της from software. Σειρά έχει elden ring.

I can't understand how this game has so many positive reviews, or maybe I just don't know how to play games. But as much as I played, it was one of the worst games I have ever played. Very frustrating that it left you far behind when you lost, and also it bothered me that everything was so robotic, my goodness, the physics, the attacks, your character couldn't even jump. It was like I was playing a game from the PS2.

This particular game was the first of its kind for me and I got addicted from the first minutes! Incredible graphics and sound, enjoyable and addictive gameplay that you never get bored of! I have finished it 4 times, achieved platinum and I still play it! I believe it should not be missing from any collection
Το συγκεκριμένο game ήταν το 1ο τους είδους για μένα και εθίστηκα από τα πρώτα λεπτά! Απίστευτα γραφικά και ήχος, απολαυστικο και εθιστικο gameplay που δεν το βαριέσαι με τίποτα! Το έχω τερματίσει 4 φορές, έχω πάρει platinum και ακόμη παίζω! Θεωρώ ότι δεν πρέπει να λείπει από καμιά συλλογή
It is one of the few games that have been made for the new generation of consoles and it is a real pleasure, especially in the technical aspect. Having played the original game on the PS3, I can truly say that I have been "blown away" by the work that has been done in this remade version. The gameplay is for those who enjoy this Souls-like style of game, however, I must say that some work has been done to better explain certain things to a new player who has not dealt with such style of games before (e.g. there are clearer descriptions of what various items do). For me, it has the best atmosphere out of all the Souls games, (perhaps with the only exception being Bloodborne).
Είναι από τα λίγα παιχνίδια που έχουν φτιαχτεί για τη νέα γενιά κονσολών και είναι πραγματική απόλαυση, ειδικά στον τεχνικό τομέα του. Έχοντας παίξει και το πρωτότυπο παιχνίδι στο PS3, πραγματικά μπορώ να πω ότι μου έχει "πέσει το σαγόνι στο πάτωμα" με τη δουλειά που έχει γίνει σε αυτή την remade έκδοση. Το gameplay είναι για όσους τους αρέσει αυτό το Souls-like στυλ παιχνιδιού, πρέπει να πω πάντως ότι έχει γίνει κάποια δουλειά να εξηγηθούν κάποια πράγματα καλύτερα σε έναν νέο παίχτη που δεν έχει ασχοληθεί με τέτοιο στυλ παιχνιδιών (π.χ. υπάρχουν πιο ξεκάθαρες περιγραφές τι κάνουν τα διάφορα αντικείμενα). Για εμένα έχει την καλύτερη ατμόσφαιρα από όλα τα Souls παιχνίδια, (ίσως με μόνη εξαίρεση το Bloodborne).
The game is simply the definition of addiction. You won't want to turn off the PlayStation. A little reading on the internet for beginners, patience for 2-3 hours to familiarize yourself, and you will experience an unforgettable gaming experience. I was afraid with what I was reading and luckily I dared and got it!!!
Το παιχνίδι είναι απλά ο ορισμός του εθισμού. Δεν θα θες να κλείσεις το PlayStation. Λίγο διάβασμα στο internet για τους αρχάριους , υπομονή για 2-3 ώρες να εξοικειωθείς και θα ζήσεις μια ανεπανάληπτη gaming εμπειρία. Το φοβόμουν με αυτά που διάβαζα και ευτυχώς που τόλμησα και το πήρα !!!
I played with the same character 3 times up to NG++ and didn't get bored for a second. Graphics, sound, and atmosphere are all on another level. The gameplay was enjoyable and quite good, with some minor flaws since the same combination could do two different things (i.e., instant L-analog + R2 breaks the opponent's defense, but sustained L-analog + R2 does the classic hit with the right hand). However, in the heat of battle, the instant from the sustained is very close. It's something that can rarely happen and doesn't affect my review at all.
If someone has no experience with FromSoftware games, it's worth entering the world of Souls with Demon's. The game is difficult only until you learn to play correctly and with patience. After that, it's smooth sailing.
Έπαιξα με τον ίδιο χαρακτήρα 3 φορές ως και το NG++ μέχρι το platinum και δεν βαρέθηκα δευτερόλεπτο. Γραφικά, ήχος και ατμόσφαιρα όλα σε άλλο επίπεδο.
Ο χειρισμός ήταν απολαυστικός και αρκετά καλός, με κάποιες μικρές ατέλειες αφού με τον ίδιο συνδιασμό έκανες 2 διαφορετικά πράγματα (δηλαδή στιγμιαία L-αναλογικο + R2 σπας την αντίπαλη άμυνα αλλά και με παρατεταμένο L-αναλογικο + R2 έκανες το κλασικό hit με το δεξί χέρι). Πάνω στον πανικό της μάχης όμως το στιγμιαίο από το παρατεταμένο είναι πολύ κοντά. Είναι κάτι που μπορεί να σου τύχει σπάνια και δεν επηρεάζει καθόλου την κριτική μου.
Αν κάποιος δεν έχει καμία εμπειρία με παιχνίδια της fromsoftware αξίζει να μπει στον κόσμο των souls με το demon's. Το παιχνίδι είναι δύσκολο μόνο μέχρι να μάθεις να παίζεις σωστά και με υπομονή. Μετά το speedrun πάει σύννεφο.
It must have been over 10 years ago when I read an ad that a Demon's Souls game was being sold for the PS3. I rushed to Pasalimani and bought it from a guy who had told me that he had been playing it continuously for two months to finish it. It was the Japanese version, if I remember correctly, as it hadn't been released in Europe at the time. I start playing and lose to the tutorial... That was it... I gave up... The era of the PS3 and Dark Souls, which was the ultimate gaming experience that, while not giving you any help, brought out the most unprecedented and primal emotions, followed by Dark Souls 2 in the same footsteps as the previous one but a little more austere, and finally Dark Souls 3 on the PS4, which was the most complete in the series in my opinion. After finishing all three of these exceptional games with intensity and anticipation in every step you took and in every boss that made the buttons on the controller rust from sweat, the longing for Demon's Souls, which I didn't give the attention it deserved back then, still remained... The PS5 came and while waiting for Elden Ring, I decided to play it just to see the graphics by Bluepoint Games... The game is simply amazing... I believe that the company, with the improvements made in the remake, managed to provide the game and the series in general with the two elements that were missing due to the capabilities of the PS3 and even the PS4, graphics and smoothness. Now the game runs incredibly well at 60fps, maximizing the real-time battles, as in the previous games, you pressed R1 and it hit after a quarter of a second. You know the rest... YOU DIED until it left an imprint on the screen... I believe that with these improvements, the game has become much more accessible - I won't say easy - for someone who shows the necessary patience and perseverance. I wish they would do the same for the rest of the series, I would have a reason to pick them up again, but after this, the bar has been set very high, let's move on to Elden Ring. In conclusion, anyone who has played it before or anyone who is still out there and has never dealt with the series, it is definitely worth buying.
Πρέπει να ήταν πάνω από 10 χρόνια πίσω όταν διάβασα μία αγγελία ότι πουλιέται ένα Demon's Souls για το PS3. Έτρεξα κάπου στο Πασαλιμάνι και το πήρα από ένα παλικάρι που μου είχε πει ότι έπαιζε επί δύο μήνες συνεχόμενα για να το τελειώσει. Ήταν η Ιαπωνική έκδοση αν θυμάμαι καλά καθώς στην αρχή δεν είχε κυκλοφορήσει στην Ευρώπη. Ξεκινάω να παίζω και χάνω από το tutorial...Αυτό ήταν...το παράτησα... πέρασε η εποχή του PS3 και του Dark Souls το οποίο ήταν η υπέρτατη εμπειρία του gaming που ενώ δεν σου έδινε καμία βοήθεια σου έβγαζε τα πιο πρωτόγνωρα και πρωτόγονα συναισθήματα, ακολούθησε το Dark Souls 2 στα ίδια πατήματα με το προηγούμενο αλλά λίγο πιο άνοστο και τέλος το Dark Souls 3 στο PS4 το οποίο ήταν το πιο ολοκληρωμένο της σειράς κατά τη γνώμη μου. Τελειώνοντάς τα και τα τρία εξαιρετικά αυτά παιχνίδια με την ένταση και την αγωνία σε κάθε πέτρα που πατούσες και στο κάθε boss που έκανε τις βίδες από το χειριστήριο να σκουριάζουν από τον ιδρώτα είχε μείνει ακόμα το απωθημένο του Demon's Souls που δεν του έδωσα τότε την προσοχή που του άξιζε... Ήρθε το PS5 και στην αναμονή του Elden Ring είπα να το βάλω έτσι για να δω τα γραφικά της Bluepoint Games... Το παιχνίδι απλά δεν υπάρχει... Θεωρώ ότι η εν λόγω εταιρεία με τις βελτιώσεις που έκανε στο remake κατάφερε να δώσει στο παιχνίδι και στη σειρά γενικότερα τα δύο στοιχεία που της έλειπαν λόγω δυνατοτήτων της πλατφόρμας του PS3 άντε και του PS4, γραφικά και ομαλότητα. Πλέον το παιχνίδι τρέχει απίστευτα εξαιρετικά στα 60fps βοηθώντας στον μέγιστο βαθμό τις real time μάχες αφού στα προηγούμενα πατούσες το R1 και χτυπούσε μετά από κανα τέταρτο. Τα υπόλοιπα τα ξέρετε... YOU DIED μέχρι να μείνει αποτύπωμα στην οθόνη... Θεωρώ ότι με τις βελτιώσεις αυτές το παιχνίδι έγινε πολύ πιο στρωτό - δεν θα πω εύκολο - για κάποιον που θα δείξει τη δέουσα υπομονή και επιμονή. Μακάρι να έφτιαχναν έτσι και την υπόλοιπη σειρά θα είχα ένα κίνητρο να τα ξαναπιάσω απλά μετά από αυτό ο πήχης ανέβηκε πολύ ψηλά πάμε για το Elden Ring μετά. Συνοψίζοντας λοιπόν όποιος το είχε παίξει παλιά αλλά και όποιος έχει απομείνει εκεί έξω που δεν έχει ασχοληθεί ποτέ με τη σειρά αξίζει με χίλια να το αγοράσει.
Simply wonderful if you are a fan of the genre, you know what to expect. For everyone else, don't bother if you're expecting something easy, it's a challenging game and anyone who doesn't expect that will bury it for no reason!!!
Απλά υπέροχο εάν είσαι Fan του είδους ξέρεις τι περιμένεις. Για όλους τους άλλους μην το περνιέται εάν περιμένετε κάτι εύκολο είναι δύσκολο παιχνίδι και οποίος δεν το περιμένει θα το θάψει τσάμπα !!!
I have played all the Souls games and I can say that they are among my favorites. I enjoyed it and I will continue since you never stop in a game passage. The graphics provided by bluepoint are unparalleled. The ps5 shows its power with the loading screens completely changing the game and even the small period you waited between countless deaths is now a thing of the past. I have the impression that for someone who plays a fromsoftware game for the first time on the PS5, they will struggle a bit at first, but if they get used to it, they won't be able to put it down. Also, I think for those who are fans of graphics, seeing and playing this game will feel somewhat different, seeing how time has affected for example Dark Souls 1, which is a shame because it is a very good game, but in comparison to the graphics of Demons Souls Remake, it is far behind.
Εχω παίξει όλα τα souls και μπορώ να πω ότι είναι από τα πιο αγαπημένα μου. Το ευχαριστηθηκα και θα συνεχίσω μιας και δεν σταματάς ποτέ σε ένα πέρασμα του παιχνιδιού. Τα γραφικά που μας έδωσε η bluepoint, είναι ανεπανάλπτα. Το ps5 δείχνει την δύναμη του με τα loading screens να αλλάζουν τελείως το παιχνίδι και ακόμα και αυτό το μικρό διάστημα που περίμενες ανάμεσα στα αμέτρητα deaths σου πλέον είναι παρελθόν. Έχω την εντύπωση ότι για κάποιον που παίρνει πρώτη φορά παιχνίδι της fromsoftware στο PS5 , θα δυσκολευτεί λίγο στην αρχή, αλλά αν το συνηθίσει δεν θα μπορεί να το αφήσει. Επίσης νομίζω επίσης για αυτούς που είναι λάτρεις των γραφικών ,βλέποντας και πάιζοντας αυτό το παιχνίδι θα τους φανεί κάπως, βλέποντας πώς ο χρόνος έχει βάψει για παράδειγμα το Dark Souls 1 , που είναι κρίμα γιατί είναι ένα πάρα πολύ καλό παιχνίδι, αλλά σε σύγκριση με τα γραφικά του Demons Souls Remake απέχει παρασάγκας.
Well, I played the game with a mage. Carefully, if you play it, for every move you make, you really need a guide next to you.
At first, it seemed very difficult to me because I wasn't used to playing with a shield (because of Bloodborne), but after 2-3 bosses, I got the hang of it.
The graphics are perfect and it has the option of 30fps with Ray Tracing.
The PVE is very enjoyable. Carefully, with Tendency, the left eye, read a guide carefully about how it works, because it affects the game to some extent (to have it under control, I recommend playing offline).
Most people in PvP are clueless, they don't follow the rules of PvP (Fromsoftware) which require not using healing while fighting anyone (just for your information).

Λοιπόν το παιχνίδι το έπαιξα με μάγο. Προσεκτικά αμα το παίξετε για την κάθε κίνηση που θα κάνετε θέλει ειλικρινά ένα guide από διπλα.
Στην αρχή μου φαινόταν πολύ δύσκολο επειδή δεν είχα συνηθίσει να παίζω με ασπίδα (λόγου του bloodborne) αλλά μετά από 2-3 boss μπήκα στο νόημα.
Τα γραφικά τέλεια έχει και την επιλογή 30fps με Ray Tracing.
Το PVE πολύ ευχαριστώ. Προσεκτικά με το Tendency είναι το μάτι Αριστερά διαβάστε προσεκτικά ενα guide για το συγκεκριμένο πράγμα πως δουλεύει, επειδή επηρεάζει το game σε έναν βαθμό (για να το έχετε υπό ελέγχω σας προτείνω να παίζετε σε offline).
Το PvP οι περισσότεροι είναι άσχετοι, δε τηρούν των κανόνα του PvP (Fromsoftware) προϋποθέτει να μη βάζετε heal την ωρα που παλεύεις με όποιον δηποτε (ενημερωτικά).

Having finished all the Dark Souls, Bloodborne, it was time to get it blindly.
I may have felt like I was playing Dark Souls 3, but it doesn't matter.
For those who don't know what game it is, it's good to watch a review first. It's difficult and not for everyone. It's a shame to waste your money.

Το 1ο μου παιχνίδι που πήρα για το Ps5.
Έχοντας τερματίσει όλα τα Dark souls , bloodborne , ήρθε η στιγμή να το πάρω με κλειστά μάτια.
Μπορεί να ένιωθα ότι παίζω dark souls 3 όμως δεν έχει καμία σημασία.
Όσοι δεν γνωρίζετε τι παιχνίδι είναι , καλό είναι να δείτε κάνα review πρώτα. Είναι δύσκολο και δεν είναι για όλους. Είναι κρίμα να πάνε χαμένα τα χρήματα σας.
Στους υπολοίπους , καλό λιωσιμο !
Fantastic game. Much smaller than all the Souls games from FromSoftware, which might be its only drawback.
The graphics are stunning. The gameplay is flawless without the slightest flaw.
Having finished the original on PS3, I would say it doesn't leave you with that bitter taste that they just released something with better graphics; it truly is a masterpiece from every perspective.
I really liked the addition they made so you can get the Predator armor, although it's very, very difficult to acquire since you have to finish the game almost twice to collect all 26 coins needed in different worlds (pure white & pure black), and even in the mirrored appearance, which makes it even harder. Those who have played understand what I mean. Otherwise, the game remains dark, eerie, and relatively difficult. One could say it is the least difficult of all the Souls games from FromSoftware, although from NG+2 and onwards things get really tough.
Highly recommended for fans of the genre and ideal for someone who wants to enter the world of Souls games, since as I mentioned, it is the easiest of all the Souls games.
Φανταστικό παιχνίδι.Πολύ μικρότερο από όλα τα souls game της FromSoftware κάτι που ίσως είναι το μοναδικό του μειονέκτημα.
Τα γραφικά είναι εκπληκτικά.Το gameplay είναι άψογο χωρίς το παραμικρό ψεγάδι.
Έχοντας τερματίσει και το original στο ps3 θα έλεγα ότι δεν σου αφήνει αυτή την πικρή γεύση ότι απλά έβγαλαν κάτι με καλύτερα γραφικά είναι όντως ένα αριστούργημα από όλες τις απόψεις.
Μου άρεσε πολύ η προσθήκη που έβαλαν για να πάρεις την πανοπλία του Predator αν και είναι πολύ πολύ δύσκολο να την αποκτήσεις αφού πρέπει να τερματίσεις το παιχνίδι σχεδόν 2 φορές για να μαζέψεις και τα 26 coins που χρειάζονται σε διαφορετικούς κόσμους (pure white & pure black) και μάλιστα στην ανάποδη εμφάνιση κάτι που το κάνει ακόμα πιο δύσκολο.Όσοι έχουν παίξει καταλαβαίνουν τι λέω.Κατά τα άλλα το παιχνίδι παραμένει σκοτεινό απόκοσμο και σχετικά δύσκολο.Θα έλεγε κανείς ότι είναι το λιγότερο δύσκολο από όλα τα souls game της FromSoftware αν και από το ng +2 και μετά τα πράγματα δυσκολεύουν άσχημα.
Προτείνεται ανεπιφύλακτα για φαν του είδους και ιδανικό για κάποιον που θέλει να μπει στον κόσμο των souls games αφού όπως προανέφερα είναι το πιο εύκολο από όλα τα souls game.
