Description

- The urethane adhesive provides a clear and flexible finish

- Suitable for permanent waterproof repairs on holes, tears, or seams in most types of camping equipment, such as tents, tarps, floors, backpacks, shoes, gloves, inflatable mattresses & toys, bags, ski clothing and other waterproof garments, neck and wrist seals, kites, etc.

Preparation

  • Clean and dry the area to be repaired
  • Roughen the surface

Holes and tears

  • Create support with adhesive tape
  • Fill the gap and the area 6mm around it
  • Keep the spot horizontal and still
  • Remove the tape after the “curing” is complete (8-12 hours)

Patch Placement

  • Apply Seam Grip® and then place the patch over the damaged area
  • Wipe off the excess around the edges
  • The item can be used immediately

High-stress points

  • Apply a thin layer of Seam Grip® to the area

Seams

  • Apply Seam Grip® to the inside of the seam
  • Use a brush or apply a thin layer directly from the tube

Drying Time

  • Wait 8 to 12 hours
  • Check before use
  • Uncured Seam Grip® may stick to clothes or other items

Patch drying time

  • In many cases, if the patch is used on fabric, the item can be used immediately
  • Regularly check the patches
