For city use, it's very good. For traveling, in case of a collision (knock on wood!), I don't think the straps will hold up. It attaches to the car seat from two points and has a strap to secure the dog's harness. Obviously not a collar because the dog can easily jump over a wall and hang itself. It's not completely waterproof, my 5-month-old puppy vomited and moisture seeped in from the sides, so be careful.

A good solution to keep the car clean, however, it is not particularly stable and the dog easily gets out of it.
