I was reading the positive comments but I thought they were exaggerations. I bought three for my parents' televisions. Within two months, one actually stopped working while the others on the same network didn't have any issues. The green protection light turned off and only the red one is on.
It's better to spend money on more expensive solutions from the beginning, so you don't end up paying twice like I did...

Before I bought it, lightning destroyed the telephone port of my router.
I bought it solely for the telephone port (which probably has an issue in the house I am in) and the area's line gets struck by lightning.
It has 2 lights in the front, Power and Protection. When I first plugged it in, both were working. After a very strong storm with many voltage fluctuations, the Protection light doesn't turn on. I believe that at some point it did its job and the protection failed, not my router or my telephone. It hasn't stopped working but logically I no longer have protection.

I will agree with another reviewer! Everything was fine until the first lightning strike after 2 months, it went off and the red light stayed on permanently. I took it to an electronics store and it doesn't have any protection inside, so it became useless. I wanted it for the telephone socket at the same time. Now Grundig is non-existent in Greece, the store where I bought it told me to do whatever I think because it has a good performance guarantee and weather conditions are not covered.... So why did I buy a surge protector to have a nice socket! Stay away from APC, I have the best impressions! The conclusions are up to you!

Νομιζω καλυτερα με μικρο UPS η κατι απο την APC.

With local lightning, it blinked very quickly and so far absolutely no damage to my sensitive devices (cordless phone, router, and smart TV).
Before buying it, my routers had already burned out twice and the TV once!
Let's see if it survives for a long period, at least 24 months, as long as its warranty!

In the end, after 4 years, it was completely burnt out.

Με τοπικούς κεραυνούς αναβόσβηνε πολύ άμεσα και μέχρι στιγμής καμμία απολύτως ζημιά στις ευαίσθητες συσκευές μοu (ασύρματο τηλ,router και smart tv).

Ολα ηταν καλα μεχρι την πρωτη καταιγιδα. Το μονο που ηταν συνδεδεμενο σε αυτο ηταν γραμμη τηλεφωνου. Καηκε αλλα το καταλαβα μετα απο μερες, διοτι το πρασινο λαμπακι δεν πολυ φαινεται.
Νομιζω καλυτερα με μικρο UPS η κατι απο την APC.
