It is made of copper and features a second USB-A plug for additional power of up to 1 A when power from the main connection is insufficient.

It can be used to connect an LTE modem or DVB-T device to a computer located farther away, as well as devices that require additional power, such as external hard drives. It is compatible with USB 1.1 and is powered via the USB port.
