Among these substances, minerals and trace elements prevail (calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, copper, etc.), which are present in high concentrations in this particular honey.

Honey with a distinctive aroma. Some compare it to the smell of iodine. The color of pine honey is characteristic and darker than that of thyme honey. In fact, that produced in spring is lighter and clearer than that produced in autumn.

The crystallization of pine honey occurs at a rather slow rate, as its natural glucose content is low. More specifically, pure pine honeys remain liquid, that is, without crystallizing, for more than a year and a half.
