    I have 4 of these mechanisms. I have them for 7 to 10 years. The only thing that wears out is the brass screw on the brake cap if you play with the brakes a lot. I consider it to be the best between 60-100 euros. I fish from April to September, day after day. Only one of them broke, the base that tightens on the rod, because it was run over by a friend's jeep that was reversing and passed over it.
