The author of the book, professor at AUTH, Mr. Dimitrios Psaroulis, presents his scientific knowledge on the subject of addictive substances as well as his experience -having examined over 20,000 users- and allows the reader to understand their biological effects on the body and mind of a person, thus drawing their own conclusions.

Particular attention is required for the chapter on Indian cannabis (hashish), which in our country is considered less hazardous than cigarettes, resulting in a significant abuse of it.
