Besides two new Wonders and the ability to play in teams, this expansion introduces a new type of cards: Cities. Mercenaries, thieves, spies, and diplomats bring new interactions to your games.

The 42 new Age cards, as well as the 2 new Wonders, offer brand new effects. The Cities expansion introduces new rules to the base game of 7 Wonders, however the victory conditions remain the same.
Additionally, the expansion includes a variant that allows team play (with 4 or 6 players). The main addition of Cities is the increased interaction between players, as well as the introduction of debts.
7 Wonders Cities is a standalone expansion but is fully compatible with the other expansions of 7 Wonders.
