The Point Salad card game is a fast-paced strategy game in which players collect vegetable and scoring cards from a market that changes each round. Each card has two sides: one depicting a vegetable and the other showing a scoring method. The goal is to combine cards to score the most points.
The game requires no complicated setup or waiting between turns and includes double-sided cards and rules in Greek.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Simple and quick little game. Nice if you want something that everyone can play.
Its one downside is that with 4 players it loses its strategic element because you practically can't think ahead. You depend on what cards the player right before you gets and what they need.
Not every game needs to have strategic depth; it just ends up becoming quite random with 4. For 2 (and 3) it's very fair but also relaxed.
We gather vegetables and scoring methods in order to create the salad that will earn the most points at the end of the game.
+Perhaps the simplest game I have ever played. It literally has 2-3 rules.
+The game is short, about 5 minutes per player.
+The approximately 100 scoring methods provide enough variety, although most of them seem similar to each other.
+The cards are relatively beautiful/cute.
-The game requires a lot of setup compared to its duration. Depending on the number of players, you have to separate the vegetables and then shuffle them again. Sometimes I don't bother because of this reason. In other quick card games (Sushi Go, Bohnanza, For Sale, Star Realms, Jaipur, Splendor, Lost Cities, Love Letter, Citadels, etc.), you start playing immediately without much fuss.
-Most card games from Kaissa, which are just a deck of 100 cards without indices, etc., have an initial price of 10-12€ and you can find them for 7-9€. This one has an initial price of 15€ without having particularly high-quality cards.
Σε άλλα γρήγορα καρτοπαίχνιδα (Sushi Go, Bohnanza, For Sale, Star Realms, Jaipur, Splendor, Lost Cities, Love Letter, Citadels κλπ.)
Easy, fast, cute but nothing extraordinary. We play it very often with my 8-year-old daughter, precisely because it is fast and simple.
It is a simple card game. It should not cost more than 8-9€, like the goods of "Around the World" or "Port Royal"
Verified purchase
Easy filler for many players. Good for quick and non-tiring games.
