In the photos, there was a person behind the glass and they are not visible at all. (We haven't tried it at night, which logically everything would be visible). We bought it for the house for the bedroom windows, you can't see anything inside except at night when you turn on the light. It works as follows: where the space is brighter, it is visible, where it is darker, it is not visible.
