The biggest problem is the activation of the ECG app. You don't need to be a premium member to see the advanced health metrics. WARNING: We need to wear the watch for at least 5 nights for all the Health statistics to appear on the app!

FOR ECG ACTIVATION, FIRST WATCH THE FOLLOWING VIDEOS

How to enable ECG on Fitbit Sense if you are in unsupported country:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtVfMGv2Kj0

Also, the following video for the general operation of ECG (instructions for the first time):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3wSO_qlFjk

ECG PDF instructions here:
https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/technology/ecg
and
https://help.fitbit.com/manuals/manual_ecg_en_US.pdf

STEPS
1. Download the Fitbit app on our mobile phone
2. Activate a VPN with the United States as the location (using a free app like HotSpotShield Basic or any other VPN client for mobile)
3. With the VPN ON, create a new FitBit account with an address in the United States (https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/setup)
4. Log in to the FitBit app from the mobile phone
5. In the App settings, go to Location and select United States
6. In the App, go to Profile - Personal - Location and select United States
7. In the App, go to the Sense device - Apps - ECG and activate it
8. While the VPN is still ON, open the ECG from the smartwatch as shown in the second video
9. In the Fitbit App, go to the TODAY tab, then tap the DISCOVER tab. After that, tap Health Assessments & Reports. Heart Rhythm Assessment (ECG) and follow the instructions

Good luck to everyone!

I had bought it for my wife and she has been using it for two years now. Once a month, a small wound appeared under her wrist from wearing the watch. Well, we thought it was just a coincidence, as she generally has sensitive skin. She stopped wearing it and I wore it for one night. The truth is, I felt a slight discomfort, like an electric shock, on my wrist where the watch was. I thought it was just my imagination. Well, in the morning, the discomfort was still there and I also had a small wound (bigger than my wife's) on the top part of my wrist under the watch! It felt like someone had pierced my hand at that spot!

With a little research, I noticed that what I experienced had happened to others as well, but with the Ionic, which was actually recalled due to overheating issues! (In Greece, some people still sell it normally!) Maybe at night, when the sensor that measures blood oxygen (SpO2) is activated, overheating begins. I used to be loyal to Fitbit (since the 1st charge), but now, never again! I had the Charge 1, 2, and never had any issues. It's a shame because I paid 320€ when it was first released

  • I have used products from this company before, good measurements, the main reason I bought it is for the fitbit application, I think it is very useful, easy to use and it analyzes everything if you dig a little, personally I expected the battery to last 6 days, it actually lasts 4 to 6 days. There are better aesthetic options, but the detailed application is the fitbit... I don't think any other android company can reach it. Perfect for casual everyday use

The device is very slow in response in the menu.
You can't see the time without pressing the button, it doesn't wake up with wrist movement to check the time.
After the latest update, when you press the button to see the time, instead of showing the time, it shows a notification that directs you to connect your cards to the fitbit wallet. As a result, to see the time, you have to press the button, but also wait to press it again to remove the notification.
The synchronization with the mobile is unacceptable, it takes many attempts to sync and it takes too long. If you have days to sync it, it may take more than 1 minute.
It often turns off for no reason and the only way to turn it back on is to put it back on charging.
Many of the measurements only work during sleep, for example, oxygen measurement.
For heart rate measurement, there are better solutions for 30 euros. For other measurements, there are now serious options with less money. This is by no means worth its money.
Update 1/9/22: I regret this purchase and now the fitbit sense has gone where it belongs, in the trash.

Owner of fitbit for many years, I am generally satisfied with their products. I bought this specific watch MAINLY for the ecg, which, however, has not been released in Greece yet. For me, that is its main drawback.
    Generally satisfied with the rest.
Google assistant has been a lifesaver for me.
If it had the ecg, it would be 5 stars from me, but you pay so much money just for this feature and in the end, you don't have it. Such a shame.
    Update 28/1/22:
Since I followed the instructions with the vpn, I finally managed to get the ecg feature, so I'm changing my rating to 5 stars.

I have had the watch for over 5 months.

    I had pre-ordered it.

    I had paid 330 euros.

    Overall, I am satisfied.

The sleep tracking is detailed and accurate, which is one of the main reasons I chose this company and model.

It has a battery life of 10-14 days depending on usage.

The screen is easy to read.

The notifications have a strong vibration.

    The notifications have good sound.

I also bought it for the electrocardiogram feature, which has not been available in Greece for 5 months and I don't know when it will be.

Overall, it is very good and it would be excellent for me if the electrocardiogram function worked.

I would have liked to receive calls directly on the watch and listen to music with open audio without needing a Bluetooth hands-free device.

It can be programmed and has even more capabilities.

This particular watch is worth selling for 200 to 220 euros.

On Monday, November 22, 2021, the charging cable broke and I bought a new one for 23 euros.

Yesterday, Sunday, February 13, 2022, it completely stopped working no matter what I try to do.

I did a Soft Reset by restarting and holding the button for 10 seconds, but it didn't work.

I did a Hard Reset by changing the Face Clock, but it still didn't work, and now I am waiting for FitBit Europe to tell me what to do to get it replaced.

There is no FitBit representative in Greece, and the problem is significant when there is no repair shop in your city or country.

There is no Fitbit Support Email, only contact via Live Chat, where if you delay for 1-2 minutes to respond while completing the steps they tell you to do or take photos and send them, the communication line is cut off, and then you have to reconnect with someone else in technical support and write again everything you said to the previous person and repeat all the steps within the time they give you, otherwise the connection is cut off and you have to start over.

From 15:00 to 23:40, they frustrated me and made me extremely angry and wanting to explode.

Nerve-wracking until I was forced to order another watch from another company, specifically the Samsung Watch 4, which has a representative in Greece and has repair shops in all major cities.

From the 4 stars I initially gave, I now give it 3 stars, and if they don't repair or replace it in the near future while it is still under warranty, I will give it 2 or even 1 star.

Big mistake, with a little more money I would have bought an Apple watch. Yes, it would have had a shorter battery life, but it would have had ECG-heart rate monitoring available. It would have had oxygen measurements and sound only during sleep. Skin measurements are again only during sleep.

For more detailed measurements, you have to be a premium member!

I couldn't return it because I had already opened the device.

Really a big mistake, a purchase that I regret as few

  • Overall, a very good watchband for its price. Maybe subjectively, I would prefer it slightly larger

  • The device is very slow in response in the menu.

  • It is a quality watch with emphasis on accurate measurements, but in my opinion, it lacks in aesthetics.
To make the electrocardiogram work, you need to install a VPN on your mobile and log in for the first time from a US location, and then it continues to work normally. It's a shame though that it requires a patent to work...

  • Owner of fitbit for many years, I am generally satisfied with their products. I bought this specific watch MAINLY for the ecg, which, however, has not been released in Greece yet. For me, that is its main drawback.
