Well... as a former owner of the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, as soon as the phone was released, I looked at the specifications and the only issue I said I would compromise on was the battery due to its lower capacity.
I specifically have the version with 256GB and 78GB have been occupied for almost 2 years now.
I use it for photos, music, and games (it runs Genshin Impact up to the latest version, which is 3.2; we'll see about later) very decent for its price, and I'm trying to find a negative point but I have to say I haven't encountered one yet, besides the fact that I got a good case because I generally have clumsy hands and it might drop somewhere... and still, it's tough.
If you play a lot of games, it's reasonable for the battery to drain and to change it at some point; for me, having gotten used to having it charged for days, the first-level stamina mode covers me for a day and a half with gaming (2 years of use).
If you encounter issues, I believe it's purely a defect of the device and not a manufacturing fault of such a phone.

I have been a owner of the phone since June. I can say that the purchase was very good since it has covered me in whatever I want.

--Positives: I take photos and the resolutions that the phone has and the "pro" mode are incredible. Its camera is amazing and this also applies to night shots. I haven't noticed any difference in games; it is the same as with the Note 8PRO that I owned. The screen frequency is at 144hz with the ability to change it to 90hz and 60hz. I prefer to use the 144hz since the smooth usage of the phone at this frequency makes it something else. It should be noted that at 144hz the phone's battery drains faster than at a lower screen frequency. Its videos are also amazing with the ability to record videos at 720p 30fps, 1080p 60fps/30fps, 4k 60fps/30fps, and 8k 30fps. The selfie camera is very satisfactory even though I don't use the front camera much in general. Its battery is good considering that it has higher battery consumption at 144hz and easily lasts me a day without charging it. It charges from 15% to 90% in about 40 minutes. I mainly use it for social media, YouTube, and music.

-Negatives: The phone, at least in my eyes and with my humble opinion, has no negatives. The only negative that bothers me a little is that the phone is thin. Two speakers are used for better consumer listening, and if you play music, let's say above the middle of the volume, the phone "shakes" with the rhythm of the music/video; this happens because of the two speakers that the phone has. It is not a reason for me to say that I wouldn't buy the phone. That's it. The phone is incredible in my eyes. Now each of our judgments will judge better.

The phone is worth every single euro that someone would spend to get it... fast software, incredible camera, battery that lasts me about a day and a half with moderate to heavy use... games with the turbo app run very smoothly even in situations where the phone has heated up after 3 hours of COD Mobile, even at low battery levels... in short, it's a phone for all uses and everyone; the only downside is its screen, which I would have preferred to be AMOLED instead of IPS.

I am rewriting after 9 months of having the phone that even with the usage I have given it during these months, the phone continues to be just as fast with no change for the worse but rather for the better, especially with the latest update of MIUI 13. The phone received an incredible upgrade in almost everything, with a few examples being the following (lower temperatures during prolonged continuous use, better battery management, much faster and smoother operation of the phone in general terms). And one last thing, after so many months, my opinion remains the same and even better than the first review

I BOUGHT IT FOR €403, WHEN IT WAS €649 FROM THE OFFICIAL XIAOMI STORE DUE TO A COUPON AND VAT EXEMPTION.
IN SUMMARY:
POSITIVES: Really lightning fast, Large screen and quite good quality (not Samsung or Apple), Very good cameras (but not for long zoom) and the fingerprint sensor on the side is extremely user-friendly and always works. It hasn't frozen even once!
NEGATIVES: Speaker (although stereo), material quality.
DETAILED: Allow me a general remark before I mention more detailed information about the phone after 3 months of use. Generally, when we say something is good or very good, we mainly have two things in mind: Acquisition cost and comparison measure. That is, when we say that this phone does not have good material quality, we have in mind as a comparison measure a corresponding phone that costs 1000+ euros.
And here is (for me) the company's big mistake: By offering various discounts, it tries to compete with phones of the same category but at double the price.
Specifically: 1) It has stereo speakers, and when the volume is at mid-level or higher, the entire back of the phone makes a "noise" and the quality is not right. Also, there is no difference in sound quality from the Xiaomi Mi 8 that I had, which did not have stereo.
2) You put a 108 mp camera and from halfway and onwards, the camera delivers poor quality. Okay, someone might say, other devices don't even deliver that. Personally, I believe that if you do something, do it right and as it should be, otherwise leave it. Put up to 48 and make the zoom correct. Of course, there is also the "market" of numbers...
3) Material quality. The Samsung S7 I had 4 years ago had much better material quality than the Xiaomi 10T Pro. I'm not saying it's terrible, but in no way is it premium.
In summary, it is a device that, in my opinion, is not worth its price at €550-600, which it is today. Around €300-350 maybe, but even that is relative. And everyone judges whether something is worth it or not (for better or worse) based on their own pocket. Also, when you make the mistake of competing with devices that are much more expensive, it is somewhat expected to be exposed. Of course, these more expensive ones are better in some aspects, but (in my opinion) they are even less worth their money. I think we pay for marketing, and all devices from €300 and above are somewhat overpriced...

It's worth every penny down to the last cent. What can one say about this phone! It's truly a gem, one of the most beautiful phones I've ever had in my life. Aluminum frame and glass front and back. I chose the "silver," which has a unique construction that depending on the light looks silver to some, gray to others, and blue to others... this color effect is very impressive... but let's get to the basics! It's a pocket computer, END OF STORY! It doesn't lag with anything, no matter how many apps you run.. the screen, although it's not OLED, I compared it with a flagship from the most well-known mobile company and it really didn't fall short at all. The battery is a monster; I have it in my hand all day with extreme use and it easily lasts the day.. with normal use, almost 2 days. The charger is just amazing... 10 minutes of charging if you're in a hurry and it will boost instantly.. no more stress about running out of battery and no more power banks. The stereo sound is very satisfying and clear.. I have nothing to say about the camera, you will simply love it!!! 108 megapixels, you zoom and zoom and zoom and the details are very clear.. night shots without flash are exceptionally impressive, and the camera's artificial intelligence "AI" helps. I think what steals the show is the macro lens, where you can get so close to objects and see details as if you have a "microscope" on your phone.. outside, I was amazed when through the macro lens I saw things that I couldn't spot with the naked eye.. Video is very stable with resolution up to 8k, what can I say, Xiaomi, you hurt them! Honestly, guys, whatever I write is too little... whoever gets it will have a phone that they won't easily change... I'm competing with phones from other companies that cost €1500 and in many aspects, I surpass them... that's all from me, don't think about it, the €550 price tag is steep, but you won't regret it

Very good phone, very fast I would say in everything it does, the battery lasts me easily two days and charges very quickly!! The sound is quality but also loud! And inside the box everything, fast charger, case, it even comes with a screen protector, cable to connect 3.5 jack headphones. It has it all. And the image quality in the sun has no complaints. I should add that I managed three days without charging, only with the essentials like a little Viber, Messenger, YouTube, and calls. Easily though without being ready to shut down. You forget the fear that the phone will turn off. I come to add after 4 months of use that Xiaomi still needs a lot of work both as a device and as software. A phone costing 580 euros shouldn't have issues like the screen not turning off when you put it to your ear. Not always but very often or the opposite, the screen would turn off during the call but wouldn't turn back on when I lowered it to end the call. Obviously, the camera is just numbers!! 108 MP but the focus and clarity are very behind. The Samsung S7, which is a 5-year-old phone, takes much clearer and more colorful photos. Also, when I watch videos shot from the phone, it freezes at moments, flickering the image. And when I zoom in on a photo, it opens gradually as if it’s a 2-core phone. Flaws that annoy you when you spend so much money and have such issues. Also, in night mode in some applications I had, the buttons on the screen to operate the app weren't even visible. That is, along with the background, the buttons went black. While recording screen video and watching a video on a page, after I saved what I recorded and went to watch it, it played with continuous sound gaps.... Stay away from Chinese brands. After countless phones I have changed, I have one thing to say.... APPLE AND SAMSUNG ARE THE PHONES. All the others are for games.

Having had the phone in my hands for 20 days and coming from the amazing Huawei Mate 10 Pro device that served me for three years without any problems, and having the following phones at home: iPhone XS Max, Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, Samsung Galaxy A50 (my corporate phone), and some others that are not worth mentioning, I have the following to say, starting first with the positives:

A) The fingerprint sensor is by far the best I have encountered, only comparable to my former device, the Huawei. Instant unlocking and, in my personal opinion, in the right position. Nothing compared to those located on the screen.

B) The face unlock feature is excellent and even unlocks while wearing a mask. After some uses, I realized it uses the eyes. I don't know how secure it is, but it is also instantaneous. I've gotten used to it and only unlock the device with this.

C) The battery is epic; no matter what you do during the day, there's no chance it will let you down. I don't play games and I don't know what would happen in that case, but it's the only phone that doesn't cause me any stress. I have all the social media apps, two emails running continuously in the background, and 136 apps. Even if you're a power user and your battery runs out around the afternoon to evening, it has such charging that in 10 minutes you get about 20%. Excellent in this regard. And even with the charger that comes in the packaging.

D) Very fast in whatever you do and ample storage space, which is the fast 3.1. Imagine that I have 3,500 files (offers in PDF format) and when I search for a document, it finds it instantly. This helps me a lot in my work.

E) It is 5G, so with the upcoming arrival of this network, you will be among the first to be able to use it.

F) It has an infrared port, which is very convenient. It opens everything: TVs, air conditioners, and any device that supports it.

G) At this moment, it has the strongest processor in Android devices.

H) The operating system left me with very positive impressions; whatever you want, you find it, and whatever customization you want, you can do it. However, it is a bit convoluted, and this will tire you at first until you find what you need.

Now let's move on to the negatives:

A) It is not waterproof for anyone who cares about that.

B) It does not have wireless charging, again for anyone who cares.

C) The screen may have a refresh rate of 144Hz, but it falls short compared to AMOLED screens. Side by side with my corporate phone, the Samsung Galaxy A50, which is half the price and two years old, the screen of the Samsung was still better, especially in brightness. There’s no comparison to the screens of the good Samsung S20 and others. However, it will not disappoint you in any case, and if you don’t put them side by side to compare, you won’t notice the difference.

D) It does not have always-on display, not because it doesn’t have an AMOLED screen, but simply because it lacks this specific feature, which I found convenient in all my previous phones. I have a 6-year-old phone still in operation, the Microsoft 640 XL, which also had an LCD IPS screen, and yet it had always-on display.

E) It does not have an audio jack, with all that this implies for those who want it.

F) One problem that bothers me is that notifications often from some apps or emails do not arrive on time, and I have to open the app itself to see what has come in. I had never encountered this specific disadvantage with a Samsung device.

Now let's move on to things that are neither positive nor negative but somewhere in between:

A) The camera may have many megapixels, but it cannot reach the quality of good Samsung and iPhone devices. The photos it takes are generally very good, but not at the level of the top devices I mentioned (S20 Plus, iPhone 11, Huawei, etc.). I have personally tested it with my friends' phones. Of course, I was also misled by some Greek YouTubers who say that the photographic capabilities of the phone are better than the devices I mentioned; a huge mistake. Only one, Sotiris, tells the truth. The night mode is also very good, but not top-notch.

B) The video is exactly the same as the camera. It is very good, but it does not reach the levels of other top devices. The stabilization is very good, but only at 30 frames per second. Imagine that my daughter's phone, the iPhone XS Max, has stabilization at 60 frames per second and it is a three-year-old phone. If I shoot video at 60 frames per second, it has a lot of shake.

C) The macro camera is top-notch. I am truly impressed.

D) The sound is stereo, it has volume and quality, but again it is not at the levels I would like. The sound with simple hands-free from the only port it has, the Type-C, is just mediocre. I do not know what happens with expensive Bluetooth devices or with expensive hands-free devices.

E) The connectivity, meaning Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and others, left me with very positive impressions. Some minor problems I had with the Samsung smartwatch were resolved by locking the app in the background. The connection with the car system is excellent.

F) It has very good build quality and is very beautiful (this is purely subjective) in my personal opinion.

G) At this moment while I am writing the review, it has the September security patch, while for example, the Samsung Galaxy A50 has the December 20 patch!!

Conclusion: I bought the phone on Black Friday for €498 from the official representative with a 2-year warranty. At this price, it is BARELY worth it. There is no way it is worth €649. It has many shortcomings that I mentioned and some bugs that I hope will be fixed with upcoming updates. I was between this and the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. The price difference was significant (which the Samsung was worth), but I simply did not want to spend that much money. I had also considered some Huawei devices, but without Google services, they are not worth it. Definitely, under €500, it is one of the best options at this moment.

I apologize if I tired you with the lengthy review, but I wanted to give the future buyer a nearly complete picture of the product. If I discover or remember any other positives or negatives, I will return with an update.

+Powerful processor and graphics card. One of the best cameras regardless of phone price and it supports gcam without root (the main reason I bought it). It lasts up to 2 days with light use (over 1 day with normal use). Full charge in almost an hour with the included charger. Unrealistically smooth screen. For basic functions (calls, browsing, social media, etc.) I won't even bother analyzing. It's amazing. And also essential, sturdy, and beautiful. The selling photos do it a disservice. Premium feeling, clearly.
- I would like it to be a bit more compact in size and it is heavy (you forget about using it with one hand). I would also prefer a pop-up selfie camera, to have a radio, and a 3.5mm jack (hate me, but I miss it), AMOLED even if it had fewer Hz. Nevertheless, the colors and viewing angles for IPS are outstanding. I would still like a fingerprint sensor under the screen and not on the sides. The selfie cam is average. Comparable to a midrange phone. It's not bad, but I expected something better, worthy of the main camera. Lastly, the phone heats up a lot during gaming. It's obvious that money was cut somewhere.
Conclusion: at €500 (Black Friday, 256GB, black) it has no competitor as an all-around phone. For more, it's difficult. Don't buy the 128GB version because due to high-quality video and photos, I estimate it will fill up quickly. Only a demanding user will appreciate its capabilities. There are cheaper but particularly noteworthy options (see OnePlus Nord and Poco F2 Pro). If I could, I would give it 4.5 stars. I hope I helped.

I was very anxious until it ended up in my hands and in turn, I write you my conclusions. Meanwhile, I have the P30 Pro 126GB.
Battery, fully charged, I don’t let it out of my hands and the day easily ends with 30% for the next day.
Screen, that’s where I had the big anxiety! YOU don’t notice any difference with an AMOLED, etc., true colors, plenty of brightness, amazing job honestly! I saw that a video is circulating and I concluded when I picked it up and have been using it continuously! 144 Hz is wonderful where it supports it, of course.
Cameras, very good! Come on now, we won’t spend double the money just to show off to our friend!
