Description

Offering a uniquely wide angle of view, the TTArtisan 11mm f / 2.8 is a fisheye lens designed for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. The extensive field of view and distinct fisheye look are characterized by immense depth of field along with strong distortion for creating very striking and dynamic images.

The wide-angle design is complemented by a bright f / 2.8 maximum aperture to suit working in available lighting conditions, and the lens's manual focus design permits working with subjects as close as 6.7".

The ultra-wide angle is designed for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras but is also compatible with APS-C models where it provides a 16.5mm equivalent focal length.

The Fisheye design provides an extremely wide angle of view to produce a distinct visual appeal characterized by dramatic distortion and creative depiction of space.

The manual focus design allows for smooth, refined control along with a minimum focusing distance of 6.7".

Built-in Lens Hood helps to block stray light from causing lens flare and also offers some physical protection to the front of the lens.

This review is about the mount: Nikon Z

For its price, it is an excellent lens. Very sharp and bright. At F2.8 it loses a bit of sharpness but from F3.2 and up it clears up immediately. It is all metal and does not take filters.

Attention, it is a manual lens and as such it requires a bit more time and patience to take photos at close distances. For distances from 1-1.5 meters and up, you set the focus once and shoot without worry. This is because it is a fish eye lens and there is almost no difference in focus for these distances. It is very wide, almost 180 degrees.

I truly have no words. If you want a lens for fun, astrophotography, or you are simply curious; get it. It is worth every euro.
