Fabric

  • Masks usually made of cotton that provide the lowest protection to the person wearing them, both in transmitting and inhaling contaminated particles.

  • The World Health Organization recommends their use in the general population when necessary safety distances are maintained.

  • They are not recommended for the elderly and people with underlying diseases, as well as for healthcare facilities such as hospitals.

  • After each use, they can be washed and reused.
with Valve
No

with Valve

Masks with valves help prevent moisture buildup inside the mask, making breathing easier.

2. The air we inhale is filtered while the air we exhale is not, so if the person wearing it is sick, the valve allows particles (e.g. breath, sneezes, coughs) to be transferred to surrounding surfaces and people.

3. Their use is not recommended in healthcare facilities (e.g. hospitals and nursing homes).
with Clear Window
Yes

with Clear Window

Transparency allows people with hearing impairments to read lips.
Activated Carbon

Activated Carbon

Carbon filters help collect and filter pollutants and bacteria, cleaning the air we breathe. They trap 10-20% of viruses.

What do users say? AI-generated summary

Users find it useful for communicating with people who read lips and say it is fairly convenient to use. It is also used in sessions, where the transparent material makes the mouth visible. However, several users note that the plastic quickly fogs up from breathing, making lip-reading difficult or impossible, and that the mask can feel stifling.

This review is about the colour: Navy Blue

Very useful for people who read lips. The only downside, which is quite serious, is that it blurs the plastic as you speak and I don't know how easy it is for someone trying to read your lips. It is also more tiring than regular masks or fabric ones because of the transparent plastic that makes it suffocating.... In any case, it is a solution.....

It does indeed fog up easily, but it’s not easy to find another one of its kind.

It fogs up from breath very quickly, the mouth is not visible in the end, so it doesn't do the job
