Automatically turns on the lights when you open the door at night
When you open the door at night, the Aqara door and window sensor will send a signal to the Aqara wall switch to turn on the lights. No matter how late you come home, the lights will turn on automatically.

It works seamlessly through home assistant and Z2M for over 1.5 years. I haven't even changed the battery. I should add that I had problems with one that seemed identical that I bought from China. The one purchased from Greece has no issues at all.

Perhaps the best value for money purchase in the category of door and window sensors. It requires an Aqara hub (personally, I bought the M2 which also combines an IR blaster) and it works flawlessly and quickly with every opening and closing. You can automate scenarios through the app (e.g. if at least one of the sensors opens between 01:00 and 07:00, an alarm sound will be triggered on the hub, etc.) and thus optimize the experience.
Personally, I experimented with buying 2 sensors and now that I saw their effectiveness, I immediately ordered the rest for every door and window in the house. The discreet design and easy installation on the material (double-sided tape) as well as the setup in the Aqara application are additional advantages.

It connected easily with Xiaomi Home, through the Aqara Hub. I have had it for about 2 weeks and so far it works very well. It immediately detects any change in status (door opening or closing). In Xiaomi Home, where I have connected it, it works very well and easily connects with any other 'smart' devices.
Συνδέθηκε εύκολα με το xiaomi home, μέσω του aqara hub. Το έχω για περίπου 2 εβδομάδες και μέχρι στιγμής λειτουργεί πολύ καλά. Καταλαβαίνει άμεσα την όποια αλλαγή κατάστασης (άνοιγμα ή κλείσιμο πόρτας). Στο xiaomi home που το έχω συνδέσει λειτουργεί πολύ καλά και συνδέεται εύκολα με όποιες υπόλοιπες 'έξυπνες' συσκευές.
Very good and for its price it's super!! If you have a spare hub, you can easily set up an affordable alarm system and it shows the contacts on Apple home and you can also do automations with lights, etc
