  • Orientation

    This concerns the direction that the seat is facing. It can be either forward or backward. Additionally, some seats have the ability to rotate and have both directions.

    Forward

    The forward-facing seat is usually recommended for children over 2 years old or even earlier depending on the weight of the baby. 2. Forward-facing seats may be booster seats or may not have a belt as the car's belt is used.

    Rear

    The baby's first car seat should be strictly rear-facing. 2. Until the age of 2 or until the child exceeds the maximum weight allowed for the seat, the baby should face backwards, as the seat serves the correct posture that protects and supports the head, neck, and spine in the event of a collision.

Description

The Modular is the new modular safety system from the Norwegian brand BeSafe, suitable from newborn to 4 years old!

It consists of a base compatible with ISOfix and two seats, one infant and one toddler, which are approved according to the new European standard R-129 (i-Size).

When the baby transitions from the infant seat to the next seat, it clicks onto the same base. The base can be extended in length, allowing a child up to about 4 years old (105 cm tall) to travel rear-facing, which we know is 5 times safer.

The iZi Modular is the second seat of the modular system. It clicks onto the i-Size base for Modular both in the rear-facing position (from 61 to 105 cm tall) and in the forward-facing position (from 88 to 105 cm tall).

The supplementary SIP+ insert offers maximum side protection according to the new i-Size regulation. The seat has excellent recline for the child's sleeping moments. Additionally, the straps remain open thanks to the magnets, making it easier to place the child in the seat.

The exceptionally designed iZi Modular seat, combined with the i-Size base for Modular, requires very little space in the car, making rear-facing use possible even in cars with limited space in the cabin.

It is suitable for those who have ISOfix in their car.
