Durostick white metal primer acts as an anti-rust undercoat for properly prepared metal surfaces, such as railings, doors and other metal structures. It is alkyd-based and contains anti-corrosion additives that protect against oxidation. It can also be applied to walls and ceilings to block stains from nicotine, soot, moisture, glue or limewash before the final coat of paint.
It spreads easily, offers strong adhesion and high coverage, dries quickly and is easy to sand. Its coverage is approximately 8–14 m²/kg per coat on properly prepared surfaces. Stir thoroughly before use. Clean tools immediately after use with THINNER 101 or white spirit.
