Durostick grey metal primer has an alkyd base and anti-corrosion additives that protect properly prepared metal surfaces from oxidation. It can be applied to railings, doors and other metal structures, and can also isolate stains from nicotine, soot, moisture, glue or lime on walls and ceilings before the final coat of paint. It offers good adhesion and coverage, dries quickly and is easy to sand.
For application to metal, remove any loose paint, rust and oil from the surface. Apply the primer with a roller, brush or spray gun: two coats on metal surfaces or one coat on walls and ceilings. Stir well before use. Clean tools immediately after use with THINNER 101 or white spirit.
