Pellachrom Aquarust anti-rust primer is intended for new or previously painted metal surfaces, such as iron and weathered galvanized metal, for interior and exterior use. Its organically modified zinc phosphate pigments and special rust converter help protect metal against corrosion and rust. It adheres to metal and other painted surfaces and can be used as an intermediate protective coating.
Apply in two coats with a brush or roller, diluted with 0–5% water, or with an airless spray gun, diluted with 10–30% water. Sand the surface with suitable sandpaper before application. Apply the second coat once the first coat is completely dry. Surface drying time is 1–2 hours, and recoating time is 4–6 hours.
