Positives and negatives, let's start with the positives.
They produce a beautiful and strong echo.
They are lightweight and sit comfortably even in stereo sound.
Now the negatives.
Until they settle in, they don't produce such a good echo. I changed their speakers and in the end, I put their own back because with some other speakers, I was getting a much stronger echo but also bad.
I don't like their design nor that they are not over 200 watts in any case. I have tested them with various sound sources, even with an amplifier. I hope they hold up and don't burn out. Their horns are all db, and so they might send the speakers feelings that they are many watts, but they are few watts. They have a handle and wheels. I would buy them again only if I didn't already have 5 12-inch speakers and many more smaller professional and hi-fi boxes from other brands, like Gemini, JBSystems, Sansui, JBL, Akai. Those were the big ones, and the small ones are Sony, Yamaha, Logitech, Technics + car speakers. I have them in stereo use and not only, e.g., the Z2300, Z5500, Z906 I have for real use, and the professional Vonyx on the Yamaha A-S501. I am a fan of speakers and systems. Among all these, the Vonyx are the loudest per pair.
I wrote all this about the speakers to explain that the Vonyx are good speakers, but they are not loud at all compared to what they claim because I have compared them with all the others, and they go almost together with two Sony speakers. The only difference is that the Vonyx are higher watts, and when the stereo speakers max out, the Vonyx continue to deliver. The reason I gave only 4 instead of 5 stars is purely because they have handles and wheels, nothing else.
Also, I have separated them because I like them more this way, and I have issues with one speaker; it always needs to be touched to play, as if the coil is sticking... it wasn't like this at first.
