Tanganyika Buffer is a carbonate salt blend that enhances the natural environment of cichlids by increasing alkalinity, carbonate hardness, buffer capacity, and pH. It is formulated to maintain a pH of 9.0-9.4.

For optimal reproduction of the Tanganyikan environment, use it with:

• Cichlid Lake Salt
• Cichlid Trace
• NutriDiet Cichlid Flakes

INSTRUCTIONS: Use 5 g (1 teaspoon) for every 40-80 liters of water daily until the desired pH is achieved and maintained. Then, use as needed to maintain the pH, typically not more than once every two to three weeks.
