The Boss RC-5 is a loop station, which is a device that allows you to create and record music loops that you can then repeat and edit. 

It has the capability to record up to 99 times on a track, and it can store up to 99 loops in its memory. Additionally, it features built-in effects such as distortion, phaser, and wah, as well as a rhythm function that allows the creation of rhythmic patterns to play along with. 

It can also be connected to your computer via USB for easy editing and file exchange.

Flexible pedal switch

The versatile pedal switch of the RC-5 controls all looping functions - recording, overdubbing, playback, stopping, and undo/redo. However, deeper control is also supported if you need it. 

Connect up to two external footswitches for instant control of multiple functions or an expression pedal for continuous adjustments. Players with advanced setups will love the TRS MIDI I/O, which saves space and allows remote operation from MIDI switches and foot controllers, as well as MIDI synchronization with drum machines and DAWs.

Move and Groove

With 57 preset rhythms and seven different drum kits, the RC-5 is ready to elevate loops and practice with inspiring grooves for every style. For each rhythm, A/B variations can be selected from the panel or controlled via MIDI during performance. 

The RC-5's looper engine also includes a reverse function that is ideal for enriching your music with new sonic colors.
