The SSD is definitely okay in terms of performance for SATA 3 interface, with the highly encouraging fact that it came with TLC NAND flash storage at the time of purchase, about 6-6.5 months ago, according to the manufacturer's website. Therefore, it is not expected to have any reliability/quality issues compared to other options at a similar price, but with QLC NAND.
It does use a lower-level dramless controller with a relatively small SLC cache compared to top models from other manufacturers, which explains the good prices of this series. However, there was no noticeable decrease in performance in everyday use, mainly for gaming (without a heavily loaded operating system), compared to an NVMe drive in the same desktop.
An additional encouraging element is its aluminum casing, which keeps the temperature low, which certainly helps maintain high performance even during prolonged use.
The manufacturer also provides basic software for disk health monitoring and benchmarks.
In conclusion, it is a very advantageous purchase, especially in large capacities (1TB/2TB).
Update / helpful comment 6/9/2023:
Firstly, the temperature controller seems to be working in a SATA connection, as it displays it correctly (+ fluctuations) in specialized software (e.g. Crystal Disk Info, Hard Disk Sentinel), at least in my case.
Secondly, it would be advisable not to attempt a slow format (e.g. for permanent deletion of files or disk partitions, etc.) through Windows or other software, both on this drive and on any SSD/M.2 SATA or NVMe (recommended for traditional spinning HDDs). The correct procedure is secure erase, either through UEFI/BIOS if your motherboard supports it, or through software/utility provided by the manufacturer of the respective drive (not all manufacturers provide this function, however!). With secure erase, the drive recognizes previously written NAND with files and "erases" previous partitions. Then, select a simple (quick) format for the file system you are interested in and use software that can check "partition/disk alignment" if it is okay or not, and correct it if necessary, as the SSD may appear inexplicably slow (e.g. Mini Tool Partition Wizard, AOMEI Partition, or similar). If a slow format is performed, it is very likely to negatively affect the speed of the drive, at least temporarily, and may also affect the health of the drive when it comes to SSD/NVMe (I am not a technician, but you can search for relevant information on Google).
This particular drive continues to provide a SMART report with 100% health after 1 year of use and several terabytes of writes without any change in read-write speeds, in my case

καταρχήν, ο ελεγκτής θερμοκρασίας φαίνεται να δουλεύει σε sata σύνδεση, δεδομένου ότι την αναγράφει κανονικά (+ αυξομειώσεις) σε εξειδικευμένα software (πχ. crystal disk info, hard disk sentinel), στη δική μου περίπτωση τουλάχιστον.
δεύτερον, καλό θα ήταν να μην επιχειρήσετε slow format (πχ για οριστικό σβήσιμο αρχείων ή διαμερίσματος δίσκου κ.λπ.) μέσω windows ή άλλου λογισμικού, τόσο σε αυτόν, όσο και σε οποιονδήποτε ssd/m2 sata ή nvme (ενδείκνυται για κλασικούς spinning hdd). η ορθή διαδικασία είναι secure erase, είτε μέσω uefi/bios εφόσον η μητρική σας το υποστηρίζει, είτε μέσω software / utility που παρέχει ο κατασκευαστής του εκάστοτε δίσκου (δεν παρέχουν τη λειτουργία όλοι οι κατασκευαστές ωστόσο!). με secure erase ο δίσκος αντιλαμβάνεται να ξαναγράψει προηγουμένως δεσμευμένη nand με αρχεία, και "εξαφανίζει" προηγούμενα partitions. κατόπιν επιλέξτε απλό (γρήγορο) format για το σύστημα αρχείων που σας ενδιαφέρει και χρησιμοποιήστε κάποιο software που μπορεί να τσεκάρει "partition/disk alignment" αν είναι ok ή όχι, και να το διορθώσει αν απαιτείται διότι ο ssd φαίνεται ανεξήγητα αργός (πχ mini tool partition wizard, aomei partition ή ανάλογα). αν γίνει slow format, πολύ πιθανά θα επιδράσει αρνητικά στην ταχύτητα του δίσκου, τουλάχιστον προσωρινά, και ίσως και στην υγεία του δίσκου, όταν πρόκειται για ssd/nvme (τεχνικός δεν είμαι αλλά μπορείτε να googlάρετε σχετικά).

Gradually, problems started over time and it would occasionally throw blue screens on Windows and reboots. Eventually, the motherboard (x370 chipset) stopped detecting it completely after 1 year and two months. At first, I thought it was a power supply issue with the motherboard or a BIOS update. The impressive thing was that when it stopped being detected entirely, it wasn't recognized on any of the motherboard's SATA ports, nor externally; not even when I connected it externally with a SATA-USB cable. It was as if the motherboard "spat it out"... The second impressive phenomenon was that with the same external SATA-USB cable, it appeared on another laptop I have, where I noticed it was getting a bit warm. Obviously, if there was a BIOS update for this specific SSD, the problem would probably be solved.
In the end, I installed a Patriot of the same GB and all the problems were solved.
Ξεκίνησε σταδιακά τα προβλήματα στον χρόνο και πετούσε αραιά και που μπλε οθόνες στα Windows και reboots. Εν τέλει, σταμάτησε να τον βλέπει εντελώς η μητρική (x370 chipset) μετά από 1 χρόνο και δύο μήνες. Νόμιζα αρχικά ότι ήταν πρόβλημα τροφοδοτικού του motherboard ή bios update. Το εντυπωσιακό ήταν ότι όταν σταμάτησε να τον βλέπει εντελώς, δεν τον έβλεπε σε κανένα από τα sata ports του motherboard, αλλά ούτε εξωτερικά· ούτε όταν το συνέδεα σε εξωτερικό με sata-usb καλώδιο. Λες και τον «έκανε εμετό» το motherboard.. Το δεύτερο εντυπωσιακό φαινόμενο ήταν ότι με το ίδιο εξωτερικό sata-usb καλώδιο εμφανιζόταν σε ένα άλλο laptop που έχω, όπου παρατήρησα ότι ζεσταινόταν λίγο. Προφανώς, αν υπήρχε bios update για το συγκεκριμένο ssd, θα λυνόταν και το πρόβλημα.
Τελικά έβαλα έναν Patriot στα ίδια GB και λύθηκαν όλα τα προβλήματα.
A good and reliable SSD. I installed it in my daughter's computer, replacing a smaller capacity Kingston (which worked perfectly). A clean installation of Windows was done and the computer works just fine. I hope it will also be durable over time.
Ένας καλός και αξιόπιστος ssd. Τον έβαλα στον υπολογιστή της κόρης μου αντικαθιστώντας έναν μικρότερης χωρητικότητας kingston ( ο οποίος δούλευε άψογα ) . Έγινε καθαρή εγκατάσταση windows και ο υπολογιστής δουλεύει μια χαρά. Ελπίζω να έχει και αντοχή στο χρόνο.
1TB in the trash after 15 months.
The motherboard stopped recognizing it and it gets very hot near the connectors. In an external case, it goes into an endless cycle of connecting/disconnecting every fraction of a second, which means you can't even see the contents.
The company has RMA and service only in Taiwan and you have to send it at your own expense, about 25-30 euros with ELTA just for them to see if it can be repaired, replaced, or returned as is. If it is replaced, there is a risk that the incoming package, since it is from Taiwan (outside the EU), will be stopped at customs, so VAT and extra expenses out of your own pocket.
It's not worth the hassle and the cost, with what it will cost to send it back and forth to Taiwan you can buy a new one.
Never again TeamGroup, you get what you pay for.

Σταματησε να τον αναγνωριζει η μητρικη και ανεβαζει υψηλη θερμοκρασια κοντα στα connectors. Σε εξωτερικο κουτι μπαινει σε ενα ασταματητο κυκλο συνδεσεων/αποσυνδεσεων ανα κλασματα δευτερολεπτου που σημαινει οτι δεν μπορεις καν να δεις τα περιεχομενα.
Η εταιρεια εχει RMA και service μόνο στην Ταιβαν και πρεπει να τον στειλεις με δικα σου εξοδα, περιπου 25-30 ευρω με τα ΕΛΤΑ μονο και μονο για να δουν αν επισκευαζεται ή θα αντικατασθεί ή θα επιστραφει έτσι. Αν αντικατασταθει υπαρχει κινδυνος το εισερχομενο πακετο επειδη ειναι απο Ταιβαν (εκτος Ε.Ε.) να σταματησει για τελωνειο αρα ΦΠΑ και εξοδα επιπλεον απο την τσεπη σου.
Δεν αξιζει την ταλαιπωρια και τα εξοδα, με οσο θα κοστισει πηγαινε/ελα Ταιβαν αγοραζεις καινουριο.
Ποτε ξανα TeamGroup, ότι πληρώνεις παίρνεις.
Very good disk, I got one to put in a PS3 CFW and it has shown a very big difference in everything. Update: The disk is really very fast, even like the branded ones, I noticed it as I was testing it
Πολύ καλός δίσκος πήρα έναν για να βάλω σε PS3 CFW έχει δείξει πολύ μεγάλη διαφορά σε όλα. Update: Ο δίσκος είναι πραγματικά πολύ γρήγορος ακομη σαν τις επονυμες μάρκες το διαπίστωσα όσο τον δοκίμαζα
Τον έχω βάλει σε 3-4 συστήματα το πρώτο θα είναι 2 χρόνια κανένα πρόβλημα. Χάνει ένα αστέρη γιατί θυμάμαι η TeamGroup κάποτε είχε 5 χρόνια εγγύηση τώρα το έκανε 3.(νομίζω m2 ακόμα είναι 5)
Since just before the New Year, I have bought 12 of these :) . I have installed 11 of them in old machines at work, which I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 with 4GiB of memory. I had no problems at all and the speeds are just fine, especially considering that previously the PCs had mechanical drives.
Edit 21/10/2025: I got 3 more of these in the first quarter—total 15. Unfortunately, one of the first ones just broke after 10 months. Kudos to it though for switching to read-only mode; although it wouldn't boot into Windows, when used as a secondary drive in another machine (or with a USB adapter), it worked and I was able to recover the employee's data who was using it. Skroutz very nicely accepted it under warranty and refunded me. And one Intenso that broke for me also switched to read-only mode.
Από λίγο πριν την αλλαγή του χρόνου, έχω αγοράσει 12 τέτοια :) . Έχω τοποθετήσει τα 11 σε παλιά μηχανήματα στην δουλειά, που από windows 7 τα έκανα windows 10 με 4GiB μνήμης. Δεν είχα κανένα προβληματικό και οι ταχύτητες είναι μια χαρά, ειδικά αν λάβει κανείς υπόψη ότι πριν είχανε μηχανικό δίσκο οι Η/Υ.
Επεξεργασία 21/10/2025: Πήρα άλλους 3εις τέτοιους το πρώτο τρίμηνο-σύνολο 15. Ατυχία όμως ο 1ας από τους πρώτους μόλις χάλασε στους 10 μήνες. Μπράβο του πάντως που γύριζε σε read-only mode και ναι μεν δεν έμπαινε στα windows, αλλά σε άλλο μηχάνημα σαν 2ρος δίσκος (ή με usb αντάπτορα), δούλευε και μπόρεσα και ανέκτησα τα δεδομένα του υπαλλήλου που τον χειριζόταν. Το σκρούτζ πολύ ωραία τον παρέλαβε στα πλαίσια της εγγύησης και μου επέστρεψαν τα χρήματα. Και ένας intenso που μου έχει χαλάσει, και εκείνος γύρισε σε read-only mode.
For the money, it is perfect. I have had it for almost three months and it is very good. I used it for dual boot on a computer and it can run an operating system at good speeds. The only thing I didn't like is that it didn't come with a data cable in the box.
Για τα χρήματα του είναι τέλειος. Τον έχω σχεδόν τρεις μήνες και είναι πολύ καλός. Τον χρησιμοποίησα για dualboot σε υπολογιστή και μπορεί να τρέχει ένα λειτουργικό σε καλές ταχύτητες. Το μόνο που δεν μου άρεσε είναι ότι στο κουτί του δεν είχε μαζί data cable.

After two years of continuous operation, they start to display an "end-of-life" message and therefore require replacement. For under €20, they are VFM.

It performs very well as a secondary 1 TB disk for files/games and as a basic replacement for an old PC's HDD, but it is not suitable as a boot drive for a 100% brand new PC. Its 800 TBW endurance is very good for its price, and for these conditions, the value is unmatched. However, be careful to get an SSD with DRAM if you want to transfer very large files. Nevertheless, with increased flash memory prices nowadays, they have become expensive, and fortunately, the CX2 is suitable for my usage conditions
Κάνει πολύ καλά για δευτερεύουσα δίσκο 1 TB για αρχεία/παιχνίδια και βασικός αντικαταστάτης HDD για ένα παλιό PC, αλλά δεν κάνει για boot drive σε ένα 100% καινούριο PC. Τα 800 TBW αντοχή του είναι πολύ καλή για την τιμή της, και για αυτές τις συνθήκες η αξία είναι ασύνγκριτη, αλλά προσεξτε να πάρετε SSD με DRAM αν θέλεις να μετακινήσεις πολύ μεγάλα αρχεία. Probably the most value-for-money SSD in capacities of 1-2TB. It doesn't matter that it doesn't reach the 550MB/s write speed of other market disks, as it is always within shooting distance of the top products - and at a much lower price. I have bought 5-6 of them, and none have shown any degradation after many months of use. Perfect for simple storage.
Πιθανότατα ο πιο vfm SSD σε χωρητικότητες 1-2TB. Αδιάφορο ότι δεν πιάνει σε εγγραφή τα 550MB/s άλλων δίσκων της αγοράς μιας και είναι πάντα σε απόσταση βολής από τα top προϊόντα - και σε αρκετά χαμηλότερη τιμή. Έχω πάρει 5-6, κανένα degradation μετά από πολλούς μήνες χρήσης. Ότι πρέπει για απλό storage.
Update: I had a problem with the Samsung 870 Evo SSD 1TB, I couldn't clone the disk and transfer it to the TeamGroup SSD... as a result, I had to partition the TeamGroup SSD four times. In the end, I installed Windows directly on the TeamGroup SSD, and as for the Samsung, I made a partition and everything is fine now with it. In other words, I messed up the TeamGroup SSD, it didn't do anything strange during the process. I'm using it now as C: and everything is working fine with it
Update: Ειχα καποιο προβλημα με τον Samsung 870 Evo SSD 1TB δεν μπορουσα να κανω clone disk και να το μεταφερω στον TeamGroup SSD .. με αποτελεσμα να κανω 4 φορες Partition στον TeamGroup .. Τελικα εβαλα κατευθειαν windows στον TeamGroup οσο για τον Samsung του εκανα ενα Partition και ειναι ολα ενταξει τωρα με αυτον .. Με λιγα λογια τον ταραξα τον TeamGroup SSD , δεν μου εκανε κατι παραξενω κατα την διαδικασια .. Τον δουλευω τωρα σαν C: ολα καλα και με αυτον
I got it today and I've had it for a few hours, I put it in my Dell Inspiron Laptop and I haven't had any problems so far. There are definitely better options like the "Crucial BX500" but for the price, it's great, I recommend it. I'll probably come back here in a little while.
Edit: After 1 month of use, I haven't noticed any problems/ differences compared to a faster Nvme SSD. It loads games at such speed that if you don't have a stopwatch, you won't notice a difference.
Το πήρα σήμερα και το έχω για λίγες ώρες, το έβαλα στο Dell Inspiron Laptop μου και δεν έχω κανένα πρόβλημα μέχρι στιγμής. Σίγουρα υπάρχουν καλύτερες επιλογές όπως το "Crucial BX500" αλλά για τα λεφτά του είναι μια χαρά, το προτείνω. Λογικά θα επιστρέψω εδώ σε λίγο καιρό.
Edit: Μετά από 1 μήνα χρήσης δεν έχω προσέξει κανένα πρόβλημα/ καμία διαφορά σε σχέση με μια ποιο γρήγορη Nvme SSD. Τα παιχνίδια τα φορτώνει με τέτοια ταχύτητα, που αν δεν έχεις χρονόμετρο δεν θα καταλάβεις διαφορά.
I have been using this SSD for about 4 months. In my opinion, it is a very excellent SSD disk for storing photos, videos, files, games, etc.
Χρησιμοποιώ αυτον τον ssd εδώ και περίπου 4 μήνες. Κατα τη γνώμη μου είναι ενας πολλή εξαιρετικός ssd δίσκος για να αποθηκεύσεις φωτογραφίες,βίντεο,αρχέια,παιχνίδια κτλπ.
The disk is very good and affordable. I use it as an external drive with a SATA-to-USB 3.0 adapter as it is lighter than a mechanical disk, more resistant to falls, and cheaper than a flash drive of the same capacity.
The write speeds on Crystal Disk are as promised. However, in real-life conditions, when transferring a large amount of GB, the write speed starts at 300+ MB/s and quickly drops to around 90 MB/s once the SLC buffer is filled. In the photo, I transferred 400GB of large files to test it.
Attention! I discovered that if a recent slow format has been done, the corresponding average speed is 63 MB/s, which is less than the WD Blue 2.5" mechanical disk from a laptop.
For small files, the speeds are lower, obviously.
On the other hand, the read speed is consistent.
Its thermometer was probably broken from the beginning and has been stuck at 33C all year round, which is not true. Otherwise, its reliability is good, so far (1 year of use and 8TBW).
The disk is DRAMless and I believe it is 3D NAND TLC, but I cannot confirm it officially anywhere. At such a good price, it competes with QLC disks like the Patriot P210. The P210 has a larger SLC buffer, but then its speed drops even more than the CX2.
Finally, the disk is very good for operating systems on computers with SATA interface. The difference from a mechanical disk is huge here, especially on Windows 10 and 11.
O δίσκος είναι πολύ καλός και οικονομικός.
Τον χρησιμοποιώ σαν εξωτερικό με SATA-to-USB 3.0 adapter καθώς είναι πιο ελαφρύς από μηχανικό δίσκο, πιο ανθεκτικός σε πτώσεις και φτηνότερος από αντίστοιχης χωρητικότητας φλασάκι.
Οι ταχύτητες εγγραφής στο Crystal Disk είναι αυτές που υπόσχεται. Όμως σε πραγματικές συνθήκες όταν κάποιος μεταφέρει πολλά GB η εγγραφή ξεκινά από 300+ ΜΒ/s και γρήγορα πέφτει γύρω στα 90ΜΒ/s μόλις γεμίσει το SLC buffer. Στην φωτογραφία μεταφέρω 400GB από μεγάλα αρχεία για να το ελέγξω.
Προσοχή! Ανακάλυψα ότι αν έχει γίνει πρόσφατα αργό format τότε η αντίστοιχη μέση ταχύτητα είναι 63ΜΒ/s, δηλαδή λιγότερο κι από μηχανικό δίσκο WD Blue 2.5’ από laptop.
Στα μικρά αρχεία οι ταχύτητες είναι μικρότερες, προφανώς.
Η ταχύτητα ανάγνωσης από την άλλη είναι σταθερή.
Το θερμόμετρό του ήταν μάλλον χαλασμένο εξ αρχής και έχει κολλήσει χειμώνα καλοκαίρι στους 33C, κάτι που δεν ισχύει. Κατά τα άλλα η αξιοπιστία του είναι καλή, μέχρι στιγμής (σε χρήση 1 έτος και 8TBW)
Ο δίσκος είναι DRAMless και νομίζω 3D nand TLC, χωρίς όμως να μπορώ να το επιβεβαιώσω κάπου επίσημα. Σε τόσο καλή τιμή ανταγωνίζεται QLC δίσκους όπως ο Patriot P210. O P210 έχει μεγαλύτερο SLC buffer, αλλά στη συνέχεια η ταχύτητά του πέφτει ακόμα περισσότερο από τον CX2.
Τέλος, ο δίσκος είναι πολύ καλός και για λειτουργικό σύστημα σε υπολογιστές με SATA interface. H διαφορά με μηχανικό δίσκο είναι τεράστια εδώ, ειδικά σε Windows 10 και 11.
I installed from such a disk on two similar laptops. Both are over nine years old and were boosted by this disk, speeds multiplied! They both work equally well and quickly on both systems. Highly recommended, I believe it is also the best value for money!
Σε δύο όμοια laptops εγκατέστησα από ένα τέτοιο δίσκο. Και τα δύο είναι πάνω από ενέα ετών και με αυτό το δίσκο απογειώθηκαν, οι ταχύτητες πολλαπλασιάτηκαν! Δουλεύουν το ίδιο καλά και γρήγορα και στα δύο συστήματα. Συστήνεται ανεπιφύλακτα, πιστεύω ότι είναι και best value for money!
I bought it yesterday and installed it today. I have given it 5 stars, not in comparison to other drives in its category, but because it seems to perfectly meet the needs for which it was purchased. Obviously, I don't have an opinion on its reliability over time, and I assume no one does, because from what I read on the net, it is a relatively new model.
Let's take it step by step.
A desktop that is about 9 years old with a Pentium G 3200 Anniversary Edition and 4 GB RAM was running on an HDD with Linux, specifically Kubuntu 20.04, whose support expires next April.
Because I was extremely lazy to go through the process of formatting and setting up the 22.04 version from scratch, I decided to get an SSD and clone the laptop's drive, and then install the clone on the desktop (because I haven't had Windows partitions for over 15 years and I heard related concerns from friends with Windows, yes, this can be done in Linux and everything works fine).
Intending to go for the low price range, I read some reviews and decided to get this TeamGroup one, with a capacity of 256 GB for 19.50 euros, in order to clone the laptop's Samsung Evo 250 GB.
The TeamGroup was placed in a 3.5-inch USB enclosure, and the cloning was done using the Clonezilla live CD, which was booted on the laptop. The drive was immediately recognized and everything was completed without errors and very quickly, which was probably expected, considering that both the source and destination drives were SSDs.
Then the drive was removed from the enclosure and installed on the desktop.
The impressions are excellent.
The operating system (22.04) loads and reaches the desktop in less than 10 seconds, while the 20.04 with the HDD took about 1.5 minutes. The responsiveness of the operating system is exceptional, and opening applications is lightning fast. The old HDD, after formatting, is used as storage, and the opinion on the file copy-transfer speed obviously depends on the limitations of the HDD's speed, as copies were made in both directions between the two drives. However, it is clearly faster than between two HDDs. It should be noted that we are talking about transfers of folders ranging from 3 to 10 GB with very small-sized files (documents and photos), which are obviously slower than transfers of large individual files.
What impressed me in particular is that the operating system loads slightly faster on the desktop (a few seconds) than on the laptop (where the clone originated), and I say this because the laptop is also 9 years old, with the same memory, but theoretically a better processor (Intel i5) and a theoretically better-faster drive (Samsung Evo).
As for the rest, all I can convey are impressions from various reviews on the net, which generally, after relevant tests and benchmarks, are positive and place the drive around average, considering it a decent entry-level drive.
Personally, I believe that for regular everyday use, it is excellent and very fast, and it fully meets the needs-requirements for which it was purchased at a very low cost, half or even lower than that of a Samsung or Western Digital SSD (I have both).
I don't have an opinion on more demanding requirements, and obviously I won't acquire one, because I'm not involved in such activities on the computer.
Finally, I must inform you that the package does not include a SATA cable, which is expected due to the low price, but also the necessary screws, which is unexpected (and the only negative comment I have). If you decide to purchase it (which I recommend for the aforementioned use), make sure to have or acquire the necessary screws in advance for its installation in the PC rack.
Τον αγόρασα χθες και τον τοποθέτησα σήμερα. Του έχω βάλει 5 αστέρια, όχι βέβαια σε σύγκριση με άλλους δίσκους της κατηγορίας, αλλά διότι φαίνεται να κάλυψε απόλυτα τις ανάγκες για τις οποίες αγοράστηκε. Προφανώς δεν έχω άποψη για την αξιοπιστία του σε βάθος χρόνου και υποθέτω ότι δεν έχει κανείς, διότι απ' όσο διαβάζω στο net, πρόκειται για σχετικά νέο μοντέλο.
Ας τα πάρουμε με την σειρά.
Ένα desktop 9 περίπου ετών με τον pentium G 3200 Anniversary Edition και 4 gb ram, έτρεχε σε έναν δίσκο hdd linux, και συγκεκριμένα Kubuntu 20.04, έκδοση της οποίας λήγει η υποστήριξη τον ερχόμενο Απρίλιο.
Επειδή βαριόμουν τραγικά το ενδεχόμενο να κάτσω να κάνω φορμάτ και να στήσω από την αρχή την 22.04, αποφάσισα να πάρω έναν ssd και να κλωνοποιήσω τον δίσκο του laptop μου και στην συνέχεια να τοποθετήσω τον κλώνο στο desktop (επειδή δεν έχω παρτίδες με windows για πάνω από 15 χρόνια και άκουσα σχετικές απορίες από φίλους με windows, ναι, σε linux αυτό γίνεται και δουλεύουν όλα μία χαρά).
Σκοπεύοντας να κινηθώ στην χαμηλή κατηγορία τιμής, διάβασα μερικά reviews και αποφάσισα να πάρω αυτόν τον TeamGroup, χωρητικότητας 256 gb στα 19,50 ευρώ, προκειμένου να κλωνοποιήσω τον Samsung Evo 250 gb του laptop.
O TeamGroup τοποθετήθηκε σε θήκη usb, 3, 2,5 ιντσών και η κλωνοποίηση έγινε με το live cd του Clonezilla, από το οποίο μπούταρε το laptop. Ο δίσκος αναγνωρίστηκε άμεσα και όλα ολοκληρώθηκαν χωρίς errors και ιδιαίτερα γρήγορα, πράγμα μάλλον αναμενόμενο, λαμβανομένου υπ' όψιν ότι τόσο ο δίσκος προέλευσης όσο και ο δίσκος προορισμού ήταν ssd.
Στην συνέχεια ο δίσκος αφαιρέθηκε από την θήκη και τοποθετήθηκε στο desktop.
Oι εντυπώσεις είναι άριστες.
Το λειτουργικό (22.04) φορτώνεται και βγαίνει στο desktop σε λιγότερο από 10 δευτερόλεπτα, ενώ η 20.04 με τον hdd έκανε περίπου 1,5 λεπτό. Η απόκριση του λειτουργικού είναι εξαιρετική και το άνοιγμα των εφαρμογών γίνεται αστραπιαία. Ο παλιός hdd, κατόπιν φορμάτ, χρησιμοποείται σαν storage, και η άποψη για την ταχύτητα αντιγραφής-μεταφοράς αρχείων, προφανώς υπόκειται στους περιορισμούς της ταχύτητας του hdd, αφού μεταξύ των δύο δίσκων έγιναν αντιγραφές και προς τις δύο κατευθύνσεις. Πάντως είναι σαφώς γρηγορότερη απ' όσο μεταξύ δύο hdd δίσκων. Ας ληφθεί υπ' όψιν ότι μιλάμε για μεταφορές φακέλων από 3 έως 10 gb με πολύ μικρά σε μέγεθος αρχεία (έγγραφα και φωτογραφίες), οι οποίες είναι προφανώς πιο αργές από αυτές ενιαίων μεγάλων αρχείων.
Αυτό που μου έκανε ιδιαίτερη εντύπωση είναι ότι το λειτουργικό στο desktop φορτώνεται ελαφρώς πιο γρήγορα (μερικά δευτερόλεπτα) απ' ότι στο laptop (απ' όπου προήλθε ο κλώνος) και αυτό το λέω διότι το laptop είναι ομοίως 9ετίας, με την ίδια μνήμη, αλλά θεωρητικά καλύτερο επεξεργαστή (intel i5) και θεωρητικά καλύτερο-γρηγορότερο δίσκο (Samsung Evo).
Κατά τα λοιπά το μόνο που μπορώ να μεταφέρω είναι οι εντυπώσεις από διάφορα reviews ατο net, που σε γενικές γραμμές, μετά τα σχετικά tests και benchmarks, είναι θετικές και τοποθετούν τον δίσκο περίπου στο μέσο όρο, θεωρώντας τον έναν αξιοπρεπή δίσκο εισαγωγικού επιπέδου.
Προσπωπικώς θεωρώ ότι για συνήθη καθημερινή χρήση είναι εξαιρετικός και ταχύτατος και κάλυψε πλήρως τις ανάγκες-απαιτήσεις για τις οποίες αγοράστηκε με ιδιαίτερα χαμηλό κόστος, στο μισό ή και χαμηλότερο ενός ssd Samsung ή ενός Western Digital (τους έχω και τους δύο).
Για πιο εξεζητημένες απαιτήσεις δεν έχω άποψη, ούτε προφανώς πρόκειται να αποκτήσω, διότι δεν ασχολούμαι με τις ανάλογες δραστηριότητες στον υπολογιστή.
Τέλος οφείλω να πληροφορήσω ότι στην συσκευασία δεν περιλαμβάνεται καλώδιο sata, πράγμα αναμενόμενο λόγω χαμηλής τιμής, ούτε όμως και τα σχετικά βιδάκια, πράγμα μη αναμενόμενο (και το μόνο αρνητικό σχόλιο που έχω). Αν αποφασίσετe να προβείτε στην αγορά του (την οποία συστήνω για την χρήση που προανέφερα) φροντίστε να έχετε ή να προμηθευτείτε από πριν τα απαραίτητα για την τοποθέτησή του στο rack του pc βιδάκια.
Gradually, problems started over time and it would occasionally throw blue screens on Windows and reboots. Eventually, the motherboard (x370 chipset) stopped detecting it completely after 1 year and two months. At first, I thought it was a power supply issue with the motherboard or a BIOS update. The impressive thing was that when it stopped being detected entirely, it wasn't recognized on any of the motherboard's SATA ports, nor externally; not even when I connected it externally with a SATA-USB cable. It was as if the motherboard "spat it out"... The second impressive phenomenon was that with the same external SATA-USB cable, it appeared on another laptop I have, where I noticed it was getting a bit warm. Obviously, if there was a BIOS update for this specific SSD, the problem would probably be solved.
In the end, I installed a Patriot of the same GB and all the problems were solved.
Ξεκίνησε σταδιακά τα προβλήματα στον χρόνο και πετούσε αραιά και που μπλε οθόνες στα Windows και reboots. Εν τέλει, σταμάτησε να τον βλέπει εντελώς η μητρική (x370 chipset) μετά από 1 χρόνο και δύο μήνες. Νόμιζα αρχικά ότι ήταν πρόβλημα τροφοδοτικού του motherboard ή bios update. Το εντυπωσιακό ήταν ότι όταν σταμάτησε να τον βλέπει εντελώς, δεν τον έβλεπε σε κανένα από τα sata ports του motherboard, αλλά ούτε εξωτερικά· ούτε όταν το συνέδεα σε εξωτερικό με sata-usb καλώδιο. Λες και τον «έκανε εμετό» το motherboard.. Το δεύτερο εντυπωσιακό φαινόμενο ήταν ότι με το ίδιο εξωτερικό sata-usb καλώδιο εμφανιζόταν σε ένα άλλο laptop που έχω, όπου παρατήρησα ότι ζεσταινόταν λίγο. Προφανώς, αν υπήρχε bios update για το συγκεκριμένο ssd, θα λυνόταν και το πρόβλημα.
Τελικά έβαλα έναν Patriot στα ίδια GB και λύθηκαν όλα τα προβλήματα.
A good and reliable SSD. I installed it in my daughter's computer, replacing a smaller capacity Kingston (which worked perfectly). A clean installation of Windows was done and the computer works just fine. I hope it will also be durable over time.
Ένας καλός και αξιόπιστος ssd. Τον έβαλα στον υπολογιστή της κόρης μου αντικαθιστώντας έναν μικρότερης χωρητικότητας kingston ( ο οποίος δούλευε άψογα ) . Έγινε καθαρή εγκατάσταση windows και ο υπολογιστής δουλεύει μια χαρά. Ελπίζω να έχει και αντοχή στο χρόνο.

The motherboard stopped recognizing it and it gets very hot near the connectors. In an external case, it goes into an endless cycle of connecting/disconnecting every fraction of a second, which means you can't even see the contents.
The company has RMA and service only in Taiwan and you have to send it at your own expense, about 25-30 euros with ELTA just for them to see if it can be repaired, replaced, or returned as is. If it is replaced, there is a risk that the incoming package, since it is from Taiwan (outside the EU), will be stopped at customs, so VAT and extra expenses out of your own pocket.
It's not worth the hassle and the cost, with what it will cost to send it back and forth to Taiwan you can buy a new one.
Never again TeamGroup, you get what you pay for.

Η εταιρεια εχει RMA και service μόνο στην Ταιβαν και πρεπει να τον στειλεις με δικα σου εξοδα, περιπου 25-30 ευρω με τα ΕΛΤΑ μονο και μονο για να δουν αν επισκευαζεται ή θα αντικατασθεί ή θα επιστραφει έτσι. Αν αντικατασταθει υπαρχει κινδυνος το εισερχομενο πακετο επειδη ειναι απο Ταιβαν (εκτος Ε.Ε.) να σταματησει για τελωνειο αρα ΦΠΑ και εξοδα επιπλεον απο την τσεπη σου.
Δεν αξιζει την ταλαιπωρια και τα εξοδα, με οσο θα κοστισει πηγαινε/ελα Ταιβαν αγοραζεις καινουριο.

The SSD is definitely okay in terms of performance for SATA 3 interface, with the highly encouraging fact that it came with TLC NAND flash storage at the time of purchase, about 6-6.5 months ago, according to the manufacturer's website. Therefore, it is not expected to have any reliability/quality issues compared to other options at a similar price, but with QLC NAND.
It does use a lower-level dramless controller with a relatively small SLC cache compared to top models from other manufacturers, which explains the good prices of this series. However, there was no noticeable decrease in performance in everyday use, mainly for gaming (without a heavily loaded operating system), compared to an NVMe drive in the same desktop.
An additional encouraging element is its aluminum casing, which keeps the temperature low, which certainly helps maintain high performance even during prolonged use.
The manufacturer also provides basic software for disk health monitoring and benchmarks.
In conclusion, it is a very advantageous purchase, especially in large capacities (1TB/2TB).
Update / helpful comment 6/9/2023:
Firstly, the temperature controller seems to be working in a SATA connection, as it displays it correctly (+ fluctuations) in specialized software (e.g. Crystal Disk Info, Hard Disk Sentinel), at least in my case.
Secondly, it would be advisable not to attempt a slow format (e.g. for permanent deletion of files or disk partitions, etc.) through Windows or other software, both on this drive and on any SSD/M.2 SATA or NVMe (recommended for traditional spinning HDDs). The correct procedure is secure erase, either through UEFI/BIOS if your motherboard supports it, or through software/utility provided by the manufacturer of the respective drive (not all manufacturers provide this function, however!). With secure erase, the drive recognizes previously written NAND with files and "erases" previous partitions. Then, select a simple (quick) format for the file system you are interested in and use software that can check "partition/disk alignment" if it is okay or not, and correct it if necessary, as the SSD may appear inexplicably slow (e.g. Mini Tool Partition Wizard, AOMEI Partition, or similar). If a slow format is performed, it is very likely to negatively affect the speed of the drive, at least temporarily, and may also affect the health of the drive when it comes to SSD/NVMe (I am not a technician, but you can search for relevant information on Google).
This particular drive continues to provide a SMART report with 100% health after 1 year of use and several terabytes of writes without any change in read-write speeds, in my case

καταρχήν, ο ελεγκτής θερμοκρασίας φαίνεται να δουλεύει σε sata σύνδεση, δεδομένου ότι την αναγράφει κανονικά (+ αυξομειώσεις) σε εξειδικευμένα software (πχ. crystal disk info, hard disk sentinel), στη δική μου περίπτωση τουλάχιστον.

Very good disk, I got one to put in a PS3 CFW and it has shown a very big difference in everything. Update: The disk is really very fast, even like the branded ones, I noticed it as I was testing it
Πολύ καλός δίσκος πήρα έναν για να βάλω σε PS3 CFW έχει δείξει πολύ μεγάλη διαφορά σε όλα. Update: Ο δίσκος είναι πραγματικά πολύ γρήγορος ακομη σαν τις επονυμες μάρκες το διαπίστωσα όσο τον δοκίμαζα
Τον έχω βάλει σε 3-4 συστήματα το πρώτο θα είναι 2 χρόνια κανένα πρόβλημα. Χάνει ένα αστέρη γιατί θυμάμαι η TeamGroup κάποτε είχε 5 χρόνια εγγύηση τώρα το έκανε 3.(νομίζω m2 ακόμα είναι 5)
Since just before the New Year, I have bought 12 of these :) . I have installed 11 of them in old machines at work, which I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 with 4GiB of memory. I had no problems at all and the speeds are just fine, especially considering that previously the PCs had mechanical drives.
Edit 21/10/2025: I got 3 more of these in the first quarter—total 15. Unfortunately, one of the first ones just broke after 10 months. Kudos to it though for switching to read-only mode; although it wouldn't boot into Windows, when used as a secondary drive in another machine (or with a USB adapter), it worked and I was able to recover the employee's data who was using it. Skroutz very nicely accepted it under warranty and refunded me. And one Intenso that broke for me also switched to read-only mode.
Από λίγο πριν την αλλαγή του χρόνου, έχω αγοράσει 12 τέτοια :) . Έχω τοποθετήσει τα 11 σε παλιά μηχανήματα στην δουλειά, που από windows 7 τα έκανα windows 10 με 4GiB μνήμης. Δεν είχα κανένα προβληματικό και οι ταχύτητες είναι μια χαρά, ειδικά αν λάβει κανείς υπόψη ότι πριν είχανε μηχανικό δίσκο οι Η/Υ.
Επεξεργασία 21/10/2025: Πήρα άλλους 3εις τέτοιους το πρώτο τρίμηνο-σύνολο 15. Ατυχία όμως ο 1ας από τους πρώτους μόλις χάλασε στους 10 μήνες. Μπράβο του πάντως που γύριζε σε read-only mode και ναι μεν δεν έμπαινε στα windows, αλλά σε άλλο μηχάνημα σαν 2ρος δίσκος (ή με usb αντάπτορα), δούλευε και μπόρεσα και ανέκτησα τα δεδομένα του υπαλλήλου που τον χειριζόταν. Το σκρούτζ πολύ ωραία τον παρέλαβε στα πλαίσια της εγγύησης και μου επέστρεψαν τα χρήματα. Και ένας intenso που μου έχει χαλάσει, και εκείνος γύρισε σε read-only mode.
For the money, it is perfect. I have had it for almost three months and it is very good. I used it for dual boot on a computer and it can run an operating system at good speeds. The only thing I didn't like is that it didn't come with a data cable in the box.
Για τα χρήματα του είναι τέλειος. Τον έχω σχεδόν τρεις μήνες και είναι πολύ καλός. Τον χρησιμοποίησα για dualboot σε υπολογιστή και μπορεί να τρέχει ένα λειτουργικό σε καλές ταχύτητες. Το μόνο που δεν μου άρεσε είναι ότι στο κουτί του δεν είχε μαζί data cable.
Value for money, it is not the first time to buy that brand TeamGroup, is always quality, has no issues, and for a very good price! I am totally satisfied!
After two years of continuous operation, they start to display an "end-of-life" message and therefore require replacement. For under €20, they are VFM.

It performs very well as a secondary 1 TB disk for files/games and as a basic replacement for an old PC's HDD, but it is not suitable as a boot drive for a 100% brand new PC. Its 800 TBW endurance is very good for its price, and for these conditions, the value is unmatched. However, be careful to get an SSD with DRAM if you want to transfer very large files. Nevertheless, with increased flash memory prices nowadays, they have become expensive, and fortunately, the CX2 is suitable for my usage conditions
Κάνει πολύ καλά για δευτερεύουσα δίσκο 1 TB για αρχεία/παιχνίδια και βασικός αντικαταστάτης HDD για ένα παλιό PC, αλλά δεν κάνει για boot drive σε ένα 100% καινούριο PC. Τα 800 TBW αντοχή του είναι πολύ καλή για την τιμή της, και για αυτές τις συνθήκες η αξία είναι ασύνγκριτη, αλλά προσεξτε να πάρετε SSD με DRAM αν θέλεις να μετακινήσεις πολύ μεγάλα αρχεία. Όμως, με αυξημένες τιμές για μνήμες φλας στις μέρες μας έχουν γίνει ακριβά και ευτυχώς το CX2 κάνει για τις συνθήκες χρήσης μου
Probably the most value-for-money SSD in capacities of 1-2TB. It doesn't matter that it doesn't reach the 550MB/s write speed of other market disks, as it is always within shooting distance of the top products - and at a much lower price. I have bought 5-6 of them, and none have shown any degradation after many months of use. Perfect for simple storage.
Πιθανότατα ο πιο vfm SSD σε χωρητικότητες 1-2TB. Αδιάφορο ότι δεν πιάνει σε εγγραφή τα 550MB/s άλλων δίσκων της αγοράς μιας και είναι πάντα σε απόσταση βολής από τα top προϊόντα - και σε αρκετά χαμηλότερη τιμή. Έχω πάρει 5-6, κανένα degradation μετά από πολλούς μήνες χρήσης. Ότι πρέπει για απλό storage.
Update: I had a problem with the Samsung 870 Evo SSD 1TB, I couldn't clone the disk and transfer it to the TeamGroup SSD... as a result, I had to partition the TeamGroup SSD four times. In the end, I installed Windows directly on the TeamGroup SSD, and as for the Samsung, I made a partition and everything is fine now with it. In other words, I messed up the TeamGroup SSD, it didn't do anything strange during the process. I'm using it now as C: and everything is working fine with it
Update: Ειχα καποιο προβλημα με τον Samsung 870 Evo SSD 1TB δεν μπορουσα να κανω clone disk και να το μεταφερω στον TeamGroup SSD .. με αποτελεσμα να κανω 4 φορες Partition στον TeamGroup .. Τελικα εβαλα κατευθειαν windows στον TeamGroup οσο για τον Samsung του εκανα ενα Partition και ειναι ολα ενταξει τωρα με αυτον .. Με λιγα λογια τον ταραξα τον TeamGroup SSD , δεν μου εκανε κατι παραξενω κατα την διαδικασια .. Τον δουλευω τωρα σαν C: ολα καλα και με αυτον
I got it today and I've had it for a few hours, I put it in my Dell Inspiron Laptop and I haven't had any problems so far. There are definitely better options like the "Crucial BX500" but for the price, it's great, I recommend it. I'll probably come back here in a little while.
Edit: After 1 month of use, I haven't noticed any problems/ differences compared to a faster Nvme SSD. It loads games at such speed that if you don't have a stopwatch, you won't notice a difference.
Το πήρα σήμερα και το έχω για λίγες ώρες, το έβαλα στο Dell Inspiron Laptop μου και δεν έχω κανένα πρόβλημα μέχρι στιγμής. Σίγουρα υπάρχουν καλύτερες επιλογές όπως το "Crucial BX500" αλλά για τα λεφτά του είναι μια χαρά, το προτείνω. Λογικά θα επιστρέψω εδώ σε λίγο καιρό.
Edit: Μετά από 1 μήνα χρήσης δεν έχω προσέξει κανένα πρόβλημα/ καμία διαφορά σε σχέση με μια ποιο γρήγορη Nvme SSD. Τα παιχνίδια τα φορτώνει με τέτοια ταχύτητα, που αν δεν έχεις χρονόμετρο δεν θα καταλάβεις διαφορά.
I have been using this SSD for about 4 months. In my opinion, it is a very excellent SSD disk for storing photos, videos, files, games, etc.
Χρησιμοποιώ αυτον τον ssd εδώ και περίπου 4 μήνες. Κατα τη γνώμη μου είναι ενας πολλή εξαιρετικός ssd δίσκος για να αποθηκεύσεις φωτογραφίες,βίντεο,αρχέια,παιχνίδια κτλπ.
The disk is very good and affordable. I use it as an external drive with a SATA-to-USB 3.0 adapter as it is lighter than a mechanical disk, more resistant to falls, and cheaper than a flash drive of the same capacity.
The write speeds on Crystal Disk are as promised. However, in real-life conditions, when transferring a large amount of GB, the write speed starts at 300+ MB/s and quickly drops to around 90 MB/s once the SLC buffer is filled. In the photo, I transferred 400GB of large files to test it.
Attention! I discovered that if a recent slow format has been done, the corresponding average speed is 63 MB/s, which is less than the WD Blue 2.5" mechanical disk from a laptop.
For small files, the speeds are lower, obviously.
On the other hand, the read speed is consistent.
Its thermometer was probably broken from the beginning and has been stuck at 33C all year round, which is not true. Otherwise, its reliability is good, so far (1 year of use and 8TBW).
The disk is DRAMless and I believe it is 3D NAND TLC, but I cannot confirm it officially anywhere. At such a good price, it competes with QLC disks like the Patriot P210. The P210 has a larger SLC buffer, but then its speed drops even more than the CX2.
Finally, the disk is very good for operating systems on computers with SATA interface. The difference from a mechanical disk is huge here, especially on Windows 10 and 11.
O δίσκος είναι πολύ καλός και οικονομικός.
Τον χρησιμοποιώ σαν εξωτερικό με SATA-to-USB 3.0 adapter καθώς είναι πιο ελαφρύς από μηχανικό δίσκο, πιο ανθεκτικός σε πτώσεις και φτηνότερος από αντίστοιχης χωρητικότητας φλασάκι.
Οι ταχύτητες εγγραφής στο Crystal Disk είναι αυτές που υπόσχεται. Όμως σε πραγματικές συνθήκες όταν κάποιος μεταφέρει πολλά GB η εγγραφή ξεκινά από 300+ ΜΒ/s και γρήγορα πέφτει γύρω στα 90ΜΒ/s μόλις γεμίσει το SLC buffer. Στην φωτογραφία μεταφέρω 400GB από μεγάλα αρχεία για να το ελέγξω.
Προσοχή! Ανακάλυψα ότι αν έχει γίνει πρόσφατα αργό format τότε η αντίστοιχη μέση ταχύτητα είναι 63ΜΒ/s, δηλαδή λιγότερο κι από μηχανικό δίσκο WD Blue 2.5’ από laptop.
Στα μικρά αρχεία οι ταχύτητες είναι μικρότερες, προφανώς.
Η ταχύτητα ανάγνωσης από την άλλη είναι σταθερή.
Το θερμόμετρό του ήταν μάλλον χαλασμένο εξ αρχής και έχει κολλήσει χειμώνα καλοκαίρι στους 33C, κάτι που δεν ισχύει. Κατά τα άλλα η αξιοπιστία του είναι καλή, μέχρι στιγμής (σε χρήση 1 έτος και 8TBW)
Ο δίσκος είναι DRAMless και νομίζω 3D nand TLC, χωρίς όμως να μπορώ να το επιβεβαιώσω κάπου επίσημα. Σε τόσο καλή τιμή ανταγωνίζεται QLC δίσκους όπως ο Patriot P210. O P210 έχει μεγαλύτερο SLC buffer, αλλά στη συνέχεια η ταχύτητά του πέφτει ακόμα περισσότερο από τον CX2.
Τέλος, ο δίσκος είναι πολύ καλός και για λειτουργικό σύστημα σε υπολογιστές με SATA interface. H διαφορά με μηχανικό δίσκο είναι τεράστια εδώ, ειδικά σε Windows 10 και 11.
I installed from such a disk on two similar laptops. Both are over nine years old and were boosted by this disk, speeds multiplied! They both work equally well and quickly on both systems. Highly recommended, I believe it is also the best value for money!
Σε δύο όμοια laptops εγκατέστησα από ένα τέτοιο δίσκο. Και τα δύο είναι πάνω από ενέα ετών και με αυτό το δίσκο απογειώθηκαν, οι ταχύτητες πολλαπλασιάτηκαν! Δουλεύουν το ίδιο καλά και γρήγορα και στα δύο συστήματα. Συστήνεται ανεπιφύλακτα, πιστεύω ότι είναι και best value for money!
I bought it yesterday and installed it today. I have given it 5 stars, not in comparison to other drives in its category, but because it seems to perfectly meet the needs for which it was purchased. Obviously, I don't have an opinion on its reliability over time, and I assume no one does, because from what I read on the net, it is a relatively new model.
Let's take it step by step.
A desktop that is about 9 years old with a Pentium G 3200 Anniversary Edition and 4 GB RAM was running on an HDD with Linux, specifically Kubuntu 20.04, whose support expires next April.
Because I was extremely lazy to go through the process of formatting and setting up the 22.04 version from scratch, I decided to get an SSD and clone the laptop's drive, and then install the clone on the desktop (because I haven't had Windows partitions for over 15 years and I heard related concerns from friends with Windows, yes, this can be done in Linux and everything works fine).
Intending to go for the low price range, I read some reviews and decided to get this TeamGroup one, with a capacity of 256 GB for 19.50 euros, in order to clone the laptop's Samsung Evo 250 GB.
The TeamGroup was placed in a 3.5-inch USB enclosure, and the cloning was done using the Clonezilla live CD, which was booted on the laptop. The drive was immediately recognized and everything was completed without errors and very quickly, which was probably expected, considering that both the source and destination drives were SSDs.
Then the drive was removed from the enclosure and installed on the desktop.
The impressions are excellent.
The operating system (22.04) loads and reaches the desktop in less than 10 seconds, while the 20.04 with the HDD took about 1.5 minutes. The responsiveness of the operating system is exceptional, and opening applications is lightning fast. The old HDD, after formatting, is used as storage, and the opinion on the file copy-transfer speed obviously depends on the limitations of the HDD's speed, as copies were made in both directions between the two drives. However, it is clearly faster than between two HDDs. It should be noted that we are talking about transfers of folders ranging from 3 to 10 GB with very small-sized files (documents and photos), which are obviously slower than transfers of large individual files.
What impressed me in particular is that the operating system loads slightly faster on the desktop (a few seconds) than on the laptop (where the clone originated), and I say this because the laptop is also 9 years old, with the same memory, but theoretically a better processor (Intel i5) and a theoretically better-faster drive (Samsung Evo).
As for the rest, all I can convey are impressions from various reviews on the net, which generally, after relevant tests and benchmarks, are positive and place the drive around average, considering it a decent entry-level drive.
Personally, I believe that for regular everyday use, it is excellent and very fast, and it fully meets the needs-requirements for which it was purchased at a very low cost, half or even lower than that of a Samsung or Western Digital SSD (I have both).
I don't have an opinion on more demanding requirements, and obviously I won't acquire one, because I'm not involved in such activities on the computer.
Finally, I must inform you that the package does not include a SATA cable, which is expected due to the low price, but also the necessary screws, which is unexpected (and the only negative comment I have). If you decide to purchase it (which I recommend for the aforementioned use), make sure to have or acquire the necessary screws in advance for its installation in the PC rack.
Τον αγόρασα χθες και τον τοποθέτησα σήμερα. Του έχω βάλει 5 αστέρια, όχι βέβαια σε σύγκριση με άλλους δίσκους της κατηγορίας, αλλά διότι φαίνεται να κάλυψε απόλυτα τις ανάγκες για τις οποίες αγοράστηκε. Προφανώς δεν έχω άποψη για την αξιοπιστία του σε βάθος χρόνου και υποθέτω ότι δεν έχει κανείς, διότι απ' όσο διαβάζω στο net, πρόκειται για σχετικά νέο μοντέλο.
Ας τα πάρουμε με την σειρά.
Ένα desktop 9 περίπου ετών με τον pentium G 3200 Anniversary Edition και 4 gb ram, έτρεχε σε έναν δίσκο hdd linux, και συγκεκριμένα Kubuntu 20.04, έκδοση της οποίας λήγει η υποστήριξη τον ερχόμενο Απρίλιο.
Επειδή βαριόμουν τραγικά το ενδεχόμενο να κάτσω να κάνω φορμάτ και να στήσω από την αρχή την 22.04, αποφάσισα να πάρω έναν ssd και να κλωνοποιήσω τον δίσκο του laptop μου και στην συνέχεια να τοποθετήσω τον κλώνο στο desktop (επειδή δεν έχω παρτίδες με windows για πάνω από 15 χρόνια και άκουσα σχετικές απορίες από φίλους με windows, ναι, σε linux αυτό γίνεται και δουλεύουν όλα μία χαρά).
Σκοπεύοντας να κινηθώ στην χαμηλή κατηγορία τιμής, διάβασα μερικά reviews και αποφάσισα να πάρω αυτόν τον TeamGroup, χωρητικότητας 256 gb στα 19,50 ευρώ, προκειμένου να κλωνοποιήσω τον Samsung Evo 250 gb του laptop.
O TeamGroup τοποθετήθηκε σε θήκη usb, 3, 2,5 ιντσών και η κλωνοποίηση έγινε με το live cd του Clonezilla, από το οποίο μπούταρε το laptop. Ο δίσκος αναγνωρίστηκε άμεσα και όλα ολοκληρώθηκαν χωρίς errors και ιδιαίτερα γρήγορα, πράγμα μάλλον αναμενόμενο, λαμβανομένου υπ' όψιν ότι τόσο ο δίσκος προέλευσης όσο και ο δίσκος προορισμού ήταν ssd.
Στην συνέχεια ο δίσκος αφαιρέθηκε από την θήκη και τοποθετήθηκε στο desktop.
Oι εντυπώσεις είναι άριστες.
Το λειτουργικό (22.04) φορτώνεται και βγαίνει στο desktop σε λιγότερο από 10 δευτερόλεπτα, ενώ η 20.04 με τον hdd έκανε περίπου 1,5 λεπτό. Η απόκριση του λειτουργικού είναι εξαιρετική και το άνοιγμα των εφαρμογών γίνεται αστραπιαία. Ο παλιός hdd, κατόπιν φορμάτ, χρησιμοποείται σαν storage, και η άποψη για την ταχύτητα αντιγραφής-μεταφοράς αρχείων, προφανώς υπόκειται στους περιορισμούς της ταχύτητας του hdd, αφού μεταξύ των δύο δίσκων έγιναν αντιγραφές και προς τις δύο κατευθύνσεις. Πάντως είναι σαφώς γρηγορότερη απ' όσο μεταξύ δύο hdd δίσκων. Ας ληφθεί υπ' όψιν ότι μιλάμε για μεταφορές φακέλων από 3 έως 10 gb με πολύ μικρά σε μέγεθος αρχεία (έγγραφα και φωτογραφίες), οι οποίες είναι προφανώς πιο αργές από αυτές ενιαίων μεγάλων αρχείων.
Αυτό που μου έκανε ιδιαίτερη εντύπωση είναι ότι το λειτουργικό στο desktop φορτώνεται ελαφρώς πιο γρήγορα (μερικά δευτερόλεπτα) απ' ότι στο laptop (απ' όπου προήλθε ο κλώνος) και αυτό το λέω διότι το laptop είναι ομοίως 9ετίας, με την ίδια μνήμη, αλλά θεωρητικά καλύτερο επεξεργαστή (intel i5) και θεωρητικά καλύτερο-γρηγορότερο δίσκο (Samsung Evo).
Κατά τα λοιπά το μόνο που μπορώ να μεταφέρω είναι οι εντυπώσεις από διάφορα reviews ατο net, που σε γενικές γραμμές, μετά τα σχετικά tests και benchmarks, είναι θετικές και τοποθετούν τον δίσκο περίπου στο μέσο όρο, θεωρώντας τον έναν αξιοπρεπή δίσκο εισαγωγικού επιπέδου.
Προσπωπικώς θεωρώ ότι για συνήθη καθημερινή χρήση είναι εξαιρετικός και ταχύτατος και κάλυψε πλήρως τις ανάγκες-απαιτήσεις για τις οποίες αγοράστηκε με ιδιαίτερα χαμηλό κόστος, στο μισό ή και χαμηλότερο ενός ssd Samsung ή ενός Western Digital (τους έχω και τους δύο).
Για πιο εξεζητημένες απαιτήσεις δεν έχω άποψη, ούτε προφανώς πρόκειται να αποκτήσω, διότι δεν ασχολούμαι με τις ανάλογες δραστηριότητες στον υπολογιστή.
Τέλος οφείλω να πληροφορήσω ότι στην συσκευασία δεν περιλαμβάνεται καλώδιο sata, πράγμα αναμενόμενο λόγω χαμηλής τιμής, ούτε όμως και τα σχετικά βιδάκια, πράγμα μη αναμενόμενο (και το μόνο αρνητικό σχόλιο που έχω). Αν αποφασίσετe να προβείτε στην αγορά του (την οποία συστήνω για την χρήση που προανέφερα) φροντίστε να έχετε ή να προμηθευτείτε από πριν τα απαραίτητα για την τοποθέτησή του στο rack του pc βιδάκια.
Gradually, problems started over time and it would occasionally throw blue screens on Windows and reboots. Eventually, the motherboard (x370 chipset) stopped detecting it completely after 1 year and two months. At first, I thought it was a power supply issue with the motherboard or a BIOS update. The impressive thing was that when it stopped being detected entirely, it wasn't recognized on any of the motherboard's SATA ports, nor externally; not even when I connected it externally with a SATA-USB cable. It was as if the motherboard "spat it out"... The second impressive phenomenon was that with the same external SATA-USB cable, it appeared on another laptop I have, where I noticed it was getting a bit warm. Obviously, if there was a BIOS update for this specific SSD, the problem would probably be solved.
In the end, I installed a Patriot of the same GB and all the problems were solved.
Ξεκίνησε σταδιακά τα προβλήματα στον χρόνο και πετούσε αραιά και που μπλε οθόνες στα Windows και reboots. Εν τέλει, σταμάτησε να τον βλέπει εντελώς η μητρική (x370 chipset) μετά από 1 χρόνο και δύο μήνες. Νόμιζα αρχικά ότι ήταν πρόβλημα τροφοδοτικού του motherboard ή bios update. Το εντυπωσιακό ήταν ότι όταν σταμάτησε να τον βλέπει εντελώς, δεν τον έβλεπε σε κανένα από τα sata ports του motherboard, αλλά ούτε εξωτερικά· ούτε όταν το συνέδεα σε εξωτερικό με sata-usb καλώδιο. Λες και τον «έκανε εμετό» το motherboard.. Το δεύτερο εντυπωσιακό φαινόμενο ήταν ότι με το ίδιο εξωτερικό sata-usb καλώδιο εμφανιζόταν σε ένα άλλο laptop που έχω, όπου παρατήρησα ότι ζεσταινόταν λίγο. Προφανώς, αν υπήρχε bios update για το συγκεκριμένο ssd, θα λυνόταν και το πρόβλημα.
Τελικά έβαλα έναν Patriot στα ίδια GB και λύθηκαν όλα τα προβλήματα.
A good and reliable SSD. I installed it in my daughter's computer, replacing a smaller capacity Kingston (which worked perfectly). A clean installation of Windows was done and the computer works just fine. I hope it will also be durable over time.
Ένας καλός και αξιόπιστος ssd. Τον έβαλα στον υπολογιστή της κόρης μου αντικαθιστώντας έναν μικρότερης χωρητικότητας kingston ( ο οποίος δούλευε άψογα ) . Έγινε καθαρή εγκατάσταση windows και ο υπολογιστής δουλεύει μια χαρά. Ελπίζω να έχει και αντοχή στο χρόνο.
1TB in the trash after 15 months.
The motherboard stopped recognizing it and it gets very hot near the connectors. In an external case, it goes into an endless cycle of connecting/disconnecting every fraction of a second, which means you can't even see the contents.
The company has RMA and service only in Taiwan and you have to send it at your own expense, about 25-30 euros with ELTA just for them to see if it can be repaired, replaced, or returned as is. If it is replaced, there is a risk that the incoming package, since it is from Taiwan (outside the EU), will be stopped at customs, so VAT and extra expenses out of your own pocket.
It's not worth the hassle and the cost, with what it will cost to send it back and forth to Taiwan you can buy a new one.
Never again TeamGroup, you get what you pay for.

Σταματησε να τον αναγνωριζει η μητρικη και ανεβαζει υψηλη θερμοκρασια κοντα στα connectors. Σε εξωτερικο κουτι μπαινει σε ενα ασταματητο κυκλο συνδεσεων/αποσυνδεσεων ανα κλασματα δευτερολεπτου που σημαινει οτι δεν μπορεις καν να δεις τα περιεχομενα.
Η εταιρεια εχει RMA και service μόνο στην Ταιβαν και πρεπει να τον στειλεις με δικα σου εξοδα, περιπου 25-30 ευρω με τα ΕΛΤΑ μονο και μονο για να δουν αν επισκευαζεται ή θα αντικατασθεί ή θα επιστραφει έτσι. Αν αντικατασταθει υπαρχει κινδυνος το εισερχομενο πακετο επειδη ειναι απο Ταιβαν (εκτος Ε.Ε.) να σταματησει για τελωνειο αρα ΦΠΑ και εξοδα επιπλεον απο την τσεπη σου.
Δεν αξιζει την ταλαιπωρια και τα εξοδα, με οσο θα κοστισει πηγαινε/ελα Ταιβαν αγοραζεις καινουριο.
