It may work for dough, but definitely not for minced meat. It doesn't grind the meat, it gets stuck inside and doesn't push it towards the wing that grinds. I even made a second attempt after keeping it in the fridge to freeze and cutting the pieces much smaller, but it still didn't work. It requires caution when washing because the wing and the perforated part (where the meat comes out) easily catch rust. It caught rust from the first wash for me. In the instructions, it says that after washing, if it's not going to be used for a while, you should lubricate the parts with vegetable oil, probably to prevent rusting, but I believe that all the parts should be stainless steel since they come into contact with meat. The non-stainless steel parts turned black after the first use and rusted after washing. Overall, it is difficult to use, it doesn't grip well on the counter, it slips quite a bit, even with the plastic attachment. Cleaning and maintaining it is very time-consuming and detailed for the ten minutes you will use it (unsuccessfully). I don't know if electric ones do the job, but this specific manual one definitely doesn't. Purchased for 45 wasted euros.
