Yes ok it has a vanilla smell. Yes indeed if someone sprays it, they should not sit in the car for a second. The problem for me was that the smell did not last at all. Whether I tried it on the carpets or on the seats or anywhere, the smell would go away in 1-2 days.

It doesn't smell anything like green apple. If I don't insist on spraying, the material causes coughing and shortness of breath

Good as far as the moment you spray it is overly intense of course but I sprayed it on the car mats and after two hours when I got back in, it didn't smell anything

It could possibly be the best one currently available, I spray it low on the carpets in the front and back, after I always leave the car, (it is strong enough to spray once you get in, I emphasize this) and somehow with 2-3 sprays it smells the whole week no matter how strange it sounds!

It takes up minimal space and you can even have it in your bag. I use it at home, in the office, and in the car. I would also say that it's always better to spray before getting out of the car for the scent to "settle". I recommend it as a gift, it's affordable and smart.
