The new series of GBIC (Gigabit Interface Converters) and SFP (Small Form-Factor Pluggables) relays offers a combination of quality and affordability. The new D-Link gigabit relays are available in two types: standard (GBIC) and mini (SFP).
The DEM-311GT model features SFP/mini-GBIC capabilities characterized by high quality and supports full duplex. It provides gigabit transmission speeds over multimode fiber at distances of up to 220 m and 550 m on 62.5 μm and 50 μm optical fibers, respectively.
The device is built with a metal housing to reduce EMI and increase durability.
