  • Owner of the MT550 for 7 (yes, seven) years. I have put it through everything—drops, trips, gaming, office work... 7 years of use and all the buttons work perfectly. In the most used spots, it has slightly discolored. Connecting it to devices is very easy, as is switching between devices. I have it connected to a TV, tablet, PC, and laptop, and I just charge the batteries once a month.

    Very practical size and capabilities.
It can be connected to 4 different computers, three via Bluetooth and the fourth via the classic wireless USB dongle it comes with, which can be stored inside the mouse to avoid losing it.
In terms of battery life, I have been using it for about three months with the same batteries, with daily use for several hours, and I haven't had to change them yet.
The grip is excellent, as it is neither too small to get lost in the hand nor slippery thanks to the elastic coating on both sides.
Visually, it has a normal wear and tear from continuous use, where matte surfaces, such as the keys, have smoothed out and become shiny, but this is a common occurrence in all mice regardless of cost or category.
In terms of performance, it is responsive, without lag or freezing even when 3-4 meters away from the computer.
Bluetooth connection on both laptops I use it with is established within 1-2 seconds.
I think it is one of the most practical and good mice I have had.

The only issues I would like to see improved are the button that switches the Bluetooth device, which is located at the bottom right below the left click. It is difficult to press it without accidentally pressing the left click from the top. I would prefer it to be positioned slightly further back or to the side, so that the mouse click is not accidentally pressed when switching devices.
Visually, a major issue with the build quality is that the elastic coating on the side where the thumb rests has come off, as it is glued with low-quality glue and has started to have a gap from the bottom. It doesn't affect the use of the mouse, but considering it has only been three months of use, I don't know what condition the mouse will be in the next three or six months. If I glue it myself, I don't know if it will be covered by the warranty if something happens over time...
Overall, I would probably buy it again as it allows me to work with multiple computers using just one mouse, instead of carrying two or three different ones.

Update 10/2023: The elastic coating has come off from all sides. Obviously, the glue used is very cheap. I tried different glues for plastics and rubber, but it keeps coming off after a while. Now I have it taped to keep the edges in place and not interfere with its use. I think that for a maximum of one year of regular use that the elastic surface lasts and considering its current price (32€, while I bought it for 21€), it is best to avoid it. Although it functions well, the build quality turned out to be a big disappointment. I am already looking for a replacement if I can't find a permanent way to glue the elastic surface, and I definitely won't buy the same one again. The 4 stars remain only for its excellent ergonomics and the fact that mechanically it is still fine!
