I use it on the IKEA blackboard, what I noticed is that if I erase it within the first 24 hours, it completely erases with a wet cloth, but if I leave it for longer it requires quite a bit of rubbing with the cloth to erase. Overall, though, it is very convenient if you don't want the mess of chalk.
