THE EDUCATION OF MAN

Today’s man experiences the adventure of millennia of existential drama in the world without being able to articulate the final say about what is happening to him. He is both educated and an educator at the same time. He is educated because history has preceded him and he is an educator because he has the responsibility for the history that follows.

‘We are called for a radical awareness of existence in the world. Otherwise, the unstoppable wheel of time drives us towards certain loss. In this temporal extremity, the responsibility of humanity is terrifying. And we must realize this. Because time has become very narrow. And the outcome will depend on the education of man.'
