The Red-Headed League is looking for a new member to take on some minor duties. The salary for this position will be four pounds a week. All red-headed men in good health and over 21 years of age are accepted. Jabez Wilson, a redhead, responds to the above advertisement and is hired by the Red-Headed League. However, when he loses his well-paid position without any warning, he asks Sherlock Holmes to find out why this happened. And while the case seems simple at first, it ends in a midnight surveillance, with Holmes trying to prevent a shocking crime.
