The play "Sons and Daughters" is based on recorded interviews with elderly people from all over Greece, who were asked to highlight a story that marked their lives.
Through these narratives, a dramatic material was composed that covers the period from the first wave of migration to America, the Occupation, and the Civil War, to the Seven-Year Junta and the years of the Metapolitefsi.
The work of Giannis Kalavrianos, which has received numerous distinctions and awards and has been successfully presented in Greece and abroad, is a mosaic of true stories, often extreme, that took place alongside major events of the last 100 years and remained in the shadow of officially recorded Greek History.
