The Prestan adult manikin simulates CPR and features a bright LED metronome that provides feedback on the rate and depth of chest compressions. The clicker mechanism produces a mechanical click when compressions are performed with the correct force. The head tilts back to open the airway, while the chest rises to show that air is entering the lungs.
The manikin is designed for training in CPR and defibrillation using a training automated external defibrillator. The lung bag and face shield fit into designated slots, and the bag is easy to install. The carrying bag also serves as a kneeling mat for trainees performing CPR.
