Gesso Preparation Gesso Primer Talens Art Creation

Purpose: Creates a preparatory layer on various absorbent surfaces. Gesso for painting, icon painting, and crafts

Composition: Acrylic resin, titanium dioxide

  • Provides a layer with good adhesion for oil paints, acrylics, gouache, etc.
  • Suitable for absorbent surfaces that have been cleaned of dust and oils
  • Suitable for surfaces such as painting canvas, wood, plywood, cardboard, MDF, and paper
  • Suitable for preparing surfaces such as cement, stucco, and brick
  • Very absorbent surfaces should be prepared in combination with Amsterdam Acrylic Binder
  • Can be tinted with acrylic paint
  • Dilute with water
  • Dries within a few hours; after 24 hours, it can be painted over with oil paints
  • Apply at temperatures above 10°C; do not allow it to freeze
  • Clean tools with water
