The glory of Babylon endures to this day. Through the centuries, it is famed even today as the richest of all cities, with unimaginable treasures.

And yet, it was not always so. The wealth of Babylon was the result of the wisdom of its citizens, who first had to learn how to become rich.

When the good king Sargon returned to Babylon after defeating his enemies, the Elamites, he was faced with a serious problem. His prime minister explained it to him with the following words:

“After many years of exceptional prosperity that your majesty brought to our people through the construction of great irrigation canals and the magnificent temples to the gods, now that these works are completed, our people have no money. The merchants cannot sell their goods. The bakers cannot sell their bread.”

The book is written in a very simplistic way and deals with very basic principles of economics and investments, without going into depth.
For someone who hasn't read a similar book before, they might enjoy it.
I would recommend someone to start with "Rich Dad Poor Dad" as their first book.

  • For readers with no knowledge at all. Basic principles that are repeated throughout the book. We understood them from the first chapter, ok.

  • I have studies in finance, it seemed extremely simplistic to me. 5 basic principles that my mom, who knew nothing about finance, would tell me.

  • Very nice book, it teaches you basic concepts of money and wealth through a pleasant story. One could also characterize it as a learning novel.

  • The book is written in a very simplistic way and deals with very basic principles of economics and investments, without going into depth.
For someone who hasn't read a similar book before, they might enjoy it.
I would recommend someone to start with "Rich Dad Poor Dad" as their first book.
