A taste of the game!
Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion is aimed at a more casual audience, with the goal of getting the player into the gameplay more quickly. The difficult-to-manage cardboard map tiles have been removed and replaced by the scenario book itself, on which the game is played, featuring unique illustrations for each scenario.
The final barrier to entry — learning the game — has also been reduced, thanks to a simplified rule system and a five-scenario tutorial that gradually introduces new players to the experience.
What's in the box?
Includes four new characters — the Valrath Red Guard (tank, crowd control), the Inox Hatchet (ranged attacks), the Human Voidwarden (support, mind control), and the Quatryl Demolitionist (melee combat, obstacle manipulation) — who can also be used in the base game Gloomhaven.
Additionally, it features 16 types of monsters (including seven new basic monsters and three new bosses) and a brand new campaign with 25 scenarios, which invites the heroes to investigate a case of mysterious disappearances within the city.

It has 25 missions. The first 5 are tutorials and it is completed at the 17th. The rest are from other paths chosen by the players. The rules are difficult but very well executed by the game. It sets up in 15 minutes. It is one of the best deck building, dungeon crawler, strategy board games. I would like more missions (but there is also the regular edition), and plastic figures for the enemies. Very cheap for its content. I wish there were more of its kind at this level.

It is extremely high quality, very clever, a D&D type game without a DM. Atmospheric, and in my opinion the best choice for those who want to experience a D&D type experience for the first time. The learning process is through playing and the first 5 missions teach you step by step how to play the game without needing someone to rush you through it. I recommend trying the storytelling app on your phone, where the narrator reads the story to you before and after the missions and immerses you even more in the world of Gloomhaven.

In terms of setup, everything is ready in the scenario books. The package is sturdy and full. We are also looking forward to the third in the series!

Game quite close to AD&D although much simpler in their rules and complexity. It doesn't have dice but cards that give you or take away bonuses in attacks. The characters (4 in number) are very well made with abilities that improve or are added during the game. It takes quite a bit of thought to be able to use them correctly and build them. It makes a very nice and accessible build up from the 1st scenario to the 5th where you essentially learn to play by explaining the rules to you. (There are very detailed videos that explain them to you)
It is not short and requires quite a bit of thought and strategy. The good thing is that it sets up relatively quickly since the scenarios are printed on large maps. It can be adjusted at any time to be played with 1 or 4 people in the same campaign by adjusting the difficulty of the scenario (It explains in detail how to calculate it)
It's worth the money and more!

Οι χαρακτήρες (4 σε αριθμό) είναι πολύ καλά φτιαγμένοι με abilities που βελτιώνονται ή προστείθενται κατα την διάρκεια του παιχνιδιού. Θέλει αρκετή σκέψη για να μπορέσεις να τους χρησιμοποιήσεις σωστά και να τους χτίσεις. Κάνει ένα πολύ όμορφο και βατό build up από το 1ο σενάριο μέχρι το 5ο που ουσιαστικά μαθαίνεις να παίζεις με το να σου εξηγεί τους κανόνες. (Υπάρχουν αναλυτικότατα βίντεο που σου τα εξηγούν)
Δεν είναι σύντομο και χρειάζεται αρκετή σκέψη και τακτική. Το καλό του είναι ότι στήνεται σχετικά γρήγορα μιας και τα σενάρια είναι τυπωμένα σε μεγάλους χάρτες. Whatever someone may say, it's not enough for this game. If you like dungeon crawlers, it's an absolute must.
It's not for beginners, it's not simple, it's not easy, it's not short, it doesn't have simple rules. However, these are the elements that make it one of the best games even for solo gaming.
It is highly recommended to secure a set of reusable stickers so as not to use those included in the packaging for the legacy of the storyline.
You will not regret buying it, and just by seeing what is included in the box, you will understand how much value for money it is, even as an object on your shelf.

It can be adjusted at any time to be played with 1 or 4 people in the same campaign by adjusting the difficulty of the scenario (It explains in detail how to calculate it)

Παιχνίδι αρκετά κοντά στο AD&D αν και πολύ απλούστερο στους κανόνες τους και στο complexity. Δεν έχει ζάρια αλλά κάρτες που σου δίνουν ή σου αφαιρούν bonus στις επιθέσεις. Οι χαρακτήρες (4 σε αριθμό) είναι πολύ καλά φτιαγμένοι με abilities που βελτιώνονται ή προστείθενται κατα την διάρκεια του παιχνιδιού. Θέλει αρκετή σκέψη για να μπορέσεις να τους χρησιμοποιήσεις σωστά και να τους χτίσεις. Κάνει ένα πολύ όμορφο και βατό build up από το 1ο σενάριο μέχρι το 5ο που ουσιαστικά μαθαίνεις να παίζεις με το να σου εξηγεί τους κανόνες. (Υπάρχουν αναλυτικότατα βίντεο που σου τα εξηγούν)
Δεν είναι σύντομο και χρειάζεται αρκετή σκέψη και τακτική. Το καλό του είναι ότι στήνεται σχετικά γρήγορα μιας και τα σενάρια είναι τυπωμένα σε μεγάλους χάρτες. Μπορεί να προσαρμοστεί ανα πάσα στιγμή ώστε να παιχτεί με 1 ή 4 άτομα στο ίδιο campaign με το να σου προσαρμόζει την δυσκολία του σεναρίου (Το εξηγεί αναλυτικά πως το υπολογίζεις)
