Received an update for Android 11. I have the impression that the colors appear more vibrant. The menu has improved. It's much faster and they have added an application that cleans the memory so that constant reboot is not necessary. The ideal is to update to 11 and then perform a reset and start from scratch. Bravo to Toshiba for supporting a 4-year-old television.

The television is relatively decent for its price. It has a fairly good picture and sound quality. The software it runs on is Android. In some aspects, it is user-friendly as it resembles a tablet for the average user, but for some advanced settings, it may be a bit confusing. Now, for those who are interested, the panel it uses is Turkish from Vestel, exactly the same as what Hitachi and some other companies use. If you look at the television from the side when it has a black background, you will see a lot of clouding. This also exists in LG and Samsung in their more economical models. Essentially, you get what you pay for.
--- MANUFACTURER/BRAND OPINION ---
The official website for the television is toshiba-tv.com, you won't find anything on toshiba-greece.com. There is no official Toshiba presence in Greece. The phone number they mention for support is 2111981319, which connects you to Astra service, a company that collaborates with Toshiba. The two times I called, an old man who has no idea about televisions answered. Then he asks if the television is under warranty and tells you to have a technician come to your place at your expense.

Ελαβε ενημερωση για Android 11. Εχω την εντυπωση οτι τα χρωματα φενονται πιο ζωντανα. Το μενου εχει γινει καλυτερο. Παει πολυ πιο γρηγορα και εχουν προσθεσει μια εφαρμογη που καθαριζει την μνημη ωστε να χρειαζεται συνεχεια reboot. Το ιδανικο ειναι αφου γινει να ενημερωσει σε 11 να γινει μια επαναφορα και να ξανα περασετε ολα απο την αρχη. Μπραβο στη Toshiba που υποστηριζει τηλεοραση 4ετιας.

Η τηλεόραση για τα χρήματα της είναι σχετικά τίμια. Έχει αρκετά καλή ποιότητα εικόνας και ήχου. Το λογισμικό που φοραει ειναι Android. Σε καποια σημεια είναι εύχρηστο γιατι θυμιζει tablet για τον απλό χρήστη αλλά για καποιες προχωρημενες ρυθμίσεις ίσως χαθείς λίγο. Τώρα για οσους το ψάχνουν το panel όπου φοράει είναι Τούρκικο απο την Vestel, ακριβώς το ίδιο που φοράει και η Hitachi αλλά και κάποιες άλλες εταιρίες. Αν κοιτάξετε την τηλεόραση από πλάγια μεριά όταν έχει μαύρο φόντο θα δείτε πολλά σύννεφα (clouding). Αυτο βεβαια υπαρχει και σε LG και σε Samsung στα πιο οικονομικα τους μοντελα. Οτι αγοραζεις περνεις στη ουσια.

Η επισημη σελιδα για την τηλεοραση ειναι το toshiba-tv.com στο toshiba-greece.com δεν θα βρειτε τιποτα. Επισημη Toshiba στη Ελλαδα δεν υπαρχει. Το τηλεφωνο που αναφερει για υποστηριξη ειναι το 2111981319 οπου βγαινει μια Astra service που συνεργαζεται η Toshiba. Δυο φορες που εχω καλεσει βγαινει ενας μπαρμπας που δεν εχει ιδεα απο τηλεορασεις. Μετα ρωταει εαν η τηλεοραση εχει εγγυηση και σου λεει να ερθει τεχνικος στο χωρο σου με χρεωσει.
