I bought the Huawei FreeBuds Pro a month ago.
1. Their sound is amazing!
2. They hear you incredibly well when you're on a phone call.
I tested them while walking next to a busy street, against a breeze, and my caller could hear me surprisingly well!
This is not a coincidence, because in these specific earphones, the two microphones at the top and bottom of the earphone stem are equipped with a wind noise cancellation tube to eliminate wind noise...
3. The active noise cancellation (ANC) cuts off many specific frequency noises, but I wouldn't say it works like earplugs, as I read in other comments...
4. They connect to my Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus in 2 seconds!
5. Their battery lasts a very long time. Specifically, after 2 hours of walking and listening to music with ANC enabled, the battery of the earphones drops to 75%...
6. Now, about the "comfort in the ear"... Unfortunately, you can only have an opinion if you try them.
It is a fact that this type of "in-ear" earphones (regardless of brand and price range) are not comfortable for prolonged use... I can't stand them in my ear for more than 2 hours, that's the truth.
In contrast to the "open-fit" earphones, which are the most comfortable (e.g. HUAWEI FreeBuds 4).
7. I would prefer the earphones to have a non-slip coating on the top so that you can easily take them out of their case, because if you have sweaty fingers, they slip.
8. They connect simultaneously to 2 devices. So you can listen to music from both devices without having to do anything. Just press play...

You need to download the "HUAWEI AI Life" app and make the correct settings for the earphones through the app.
You will NOT download the app from the Google Play Store (for those with Android), because due to the well-known ban by the US Government, the app on the Google Play Store has not been updated for 2 years, so it cannot detect these newer earphones.
So you can download it in 2 ways.
Way 1. You will download the Huawei App Gallery from the HUAWEI website (it is Huawei's "Google Play Store") and after creating an account within the app, you can then download the HUAWEI AI Life app.
Way 2. You will directly access the HUAWEI website for HUAWEI AI Life and download the HUAWEI AI Life app directly, without downloading the Huawei App Gallery.
Once the app is downloaded, you will install it without needing to create an account, and you are ready to add your earphones.

The problems are 2:

1) They are neither waterproof nor water resistant. They can withstand sweat to some extent, if you exercise, but even Huawei does not recommend them to be wet.

2) They are bulky and somewhat heavy compared to others I tried later, and at least in my ears, when I move vigorously (e.g. running or doing sit-ups), they tend to fall off since they don't fit very well in the ears.

Everything else is okay. They are more suitable for sitting and listening or walking. If you want them for any other use scenario (e.g. listening and exercising), look somewhere else.

UPDATE: Since I see that some users consider what I'm saying to be wrong, I would like to mention the following: Yes, the sound is very good. This is not debatable. I just personally, as a user of such devices, believe that having good sound alone is not enough. It is a device that you use on the go and it "keeps you company" in various activities. If I wanted only good sound, I would go for professional over-the-ear or even in-ear headphones. However, let me also mention two more positive aspects: the battery life is decent. Also, the earbuds have fallen several times and they haven't suffered any damage. As for the water-resistant part, you can also check this link that talks about it: [link]. Another negative aspect is that it doesn't have any kind of setting for the microphone (such as noise cancellation for input noise and amplification only for the voice entering the microphone), resulting in some background noise that makes it difficult for the person you're calling to hear you well. If the environment is relatively quiet, they can hear you just fine. As for the fact that they are bulky and heavy in the ear, I cannot convince you about that as you will have to try them. However, this is also a bit subjective as everyone's ears are different from others.

I have had them for 1.5 months now and I can say that I have never worn any other headphones during this period. I was searching for the best true wireless earbuds to buy for a while, and I was torn between these, some Samsung ones, and some OnePlus ones. In the end, what won me over was the multi-point pairing feature, which means they easily connect and simultaneously pair with other devices. The OnePlus ones claimed to have this feature, but no one online had a good experience with them, and the Samsung ones were said to only have a good experience with Samsung devices, so I chose the Huawei ones that didn't have such limitations.

In general, they have a very nice fit in the ears, with various sizes of eartips to find the one that suits you, and with a function in the app that checks if the eartips create a good seal (practically checking for any sound leakage in the external microphones), so they fit well and provide good sound. The pairing with an Android phone and MacBook Pro is very good (sometimes on the Mac, manual pairing is required, but once connected, it works great). The battery easily lasts 1-2 days with my usage (daily work calls for many hours and music), and the charging in the case is very fast. The case, on the other hand, takes about an hour (maybe less) to fully charge from a low level, so I consider it to perform quite well. The noise cancelling is quite good, if you play music at a low volume, you can't hear anything from the outside.

Regarding call quality, I can say that they are the best I have tried both as an owner and as a speaker with others who have different headphones. I can hear the speaker very clearly, only when the noise cancelling is active and there is a loud noise outside, then there is a slight distortion in the voice coming from the headphones, which means that the noise cancelling is trying hard to reduce the noises and might slightly lose in that aspect. However, I had no problem talking on the street and hearing and being heard clearly, unlike with some Samsung ones where the speaker had more difficulty and I heard more of the background noise than the conversation.

Regarding music quality, I can say that it is above average for true wireless headphones in this price range. It is definitely not the quality of wired headphones at this price, but the sound is quite acceptable. There are bass, there are midrange, the treble might be slightly lower, but overall they sound quite decent.

Finally, regarding other comments saying that they are difficult to remove from the case, there are clear instructions in the box that clearly state that to remove them, you push them inwards and then pull them out, so they come out easily.

Bottom line, at this price point, it is a no-brainer to buy them, they are definitely worth it and more.

The headphones are top-notch. I have the iPhone 11 and I haven't encountered any issues with their connection, but that's because the headphones are Huawei, not Apple.
I'm really glad I didn't spend almost 100 euros more to get the equivalent Apple pro headphones!
-Sound: perfect!!! Both in calls and in video and music playback (I don't care much about bass, I mean I don't have specific requirements)
-Connectivity: Not just perfect, but lightning-fast!
-Battery: Their battery is great and the best part is that they charge lightning-fast when you put them in the case!!! The case lasts about a full day of continuous use if you constantly need them due to work (and it's fully charged, same as the headphones)
Unfortunately, they have fallen more than 10 times and they haven't suffered any damage! And I haven't had them for even 10 days.
The only major downside for me and others is that they don't fit well in the ears, and that's because of the earbud tips. None of the 3 pairs matched my ears, at least, so I have to find earbud tips that fit.
Guys, don't even think about it if you're torn between these and the equivalent Apple pro headphones, as you'll pay almost 100€ more and also because with almost half the price, these provide better battery life. Of course, I won't compare them to the equivalent Samsung pro headphones because I believe there's no comparison there either.
Get them blindly! They have no competition at the moment and their price truly makes them the number one choice and VFM (value for money).

I will also give my opinion on the Free Buds Pro, even though I am a Samsung S10 Plus owner. The connection was flawless without any disconnections, and as soon as I open the earphones, the connection is immediate, with a great range. Despite being a Samsung lover (here I take my hat off to Huawei), the earphones are amazing, with very good sound and bass that doesn't tire you out. I have had them for three months now, so I have a comprehensive opinion without the excitement of the purchase, having tested them in all conditions. Well, in terms of calls, which are essential for me, they are perfect. I can hear and be heard very well, even in noisy environments like factories with machines. The ANC does a good job, although some sounds pass through (as happens with most earphones). But we're talking about excessively noisy places. Since I have had other earphones, both wired and wireless, I won't mention specific products because we're talking about difficult conditions, so the comparison metric is not necessary. Of course, it goes without saying that in more normal conditions, the ANC eliminates noise to the maximum. Now, in terms of music, they are quite good, with a volume that is quite good and strong. The Multipoint Pairing feature is very convenient for connecting two devices, it really frees up your hands. Especially at the current price, it's worth buying them. Premium earphones for users who want quality

Very good headphones. Having already the Sony WF-1000XM3 and the Sony WF-SP800N, I declare myself extremely impressed. Everything is great, the sound quality, the build quality, the battery life. All these, along with their other features, create a very good package. At the price they are currently available (125~140€), it is a highly competitive offer.

In detail:

A. Advantages:
1. Wonderful sound, balanced and full quality across all ranges (bass-mid-high). Especially the bass is amazing.
2. The Active Noise Cancellation can be very aggressive for some tastes, but it cuts out a lot of noise. And the automatic mode works extremely well.
3. Very good choice of control options with touch (for volume) and single-double-triple-long press (for everything else). This achieves a wide range of commands that can be executed simultaneously, and additionally, the control of the headphones can be complete even when using just one. The only downside is that you can't customize what each gesture does, but they are easy to learn.
4. Independent operation of just one earbud (right or left). Full control (commands) even with one earbud in use, which is not a given even in some headphones that cost twice as much.
5. Simultaneous operation of two devices (multipoint). I tested it with two phones connected at the same time, with the music players on standby, and when I paused one, the other played. The only downside here is the slight delay (about 2-3 seconds) when switching from one device to another. I hope they fix it with an update. This is the first true wireless with this capability. Truly excellent from Huawei here.
6. Excellent build quality, powerful magnets that keep the earbuds in the case. No matter how much you shake it with the lid open, the buds won't come out at all. Nice design, the case is nothing compared to the huge ones from Sony that I'm used to, but despite its small size, the case is somewhat heavy. Sturdy construction, it looks like it will last over time. The earbuds, on the other hand, are super light, you almost don't feel like you're wearing them.
7. Very good charging speed for the earbuds and the case via USB-C, somewhat slower via wireless charging.

B. Disadvantages:
1. The ear fit. The choice of these specific silicone tips that come with the package is terrible. None of the three pairs fit my ears, resulting in loss of bass and proper isolation from ambient sound, which would ensure an even better result in Active Noise Cancellation. Fortunately, I put a pair of rubber tips from some simple Sony headphones and the entire user experience changed dramatically. This is the second pair of Huawei headphones I have and they have this serious drawback.
2. Lack of general sound quality settings in the app, such as equalizer, extra bass, etc. This can be corrected in a music player, as usually there you have sound settings, but in YouTube and other video and audio apps, this option is not available.
3. To find the correct version of the Huawei AI Life app that supports these specific headphones, you need to search outside the Play Store. However, once you download it, you have everything, from battery percentage of the earbuds/case, settings, user instructions, ear control app, to firmware updates, etc. Until you find a trick to get them out of the case, it might take you an eternity to try. However, once you find the trick, everything is fine.

Overall, it is an excellent option for someone who doesn't want to spend more than €140-150 for true wireless. I haven't had them for many days, so I can't make a reliable comparison with the industry standard Sony WF-1000XM3 that I've had for a long time, but they are indeed very close in quality. It bothers me a bit that they don't have the full sound settings of the Sony, but at this price, you can't have it all. In some areas, the Freebuds Pro match the best headphones on the market.
And at this price, it's not an exaggeration to say that it's a bargain. I highly recommend them.
