I have had the trainer for 2 years and... I have also tried the equivalent from wahoo, thanks to a friend. Unfortunately, I don't have experience with cheaper models to compare. The overall impression is perfect, of course. That was missing in those prices. Some basic opinions for those who are considering it:
---It is definitely an exaggeration for anyone who is not a professional. I bought it because at that time I couldn't find something in the middle. I have never needed its maximum power or accuracy.
---It folds up nicely for easy transportation. And its best feature is that it works without electricity. It generates its own power. Of course, I have only needed this a few times before a race to warm up.
---Because it works with electromagnetism, it can create vibrations from the road surface as well as the feeling of going downhill (it does it on its own). These are nice for fun on zwift. They don't make sense for training.
---Something that had a big difference for me compared to the wahoo was that it gives a slight sway left and right, which gives a more natural feeling of the road when pedaling. Of course, you can do this with DIY solutions on any trainer.
---A big downside that I have seen compared to others is its bulky body towards the bike. This makes it more difficult to attach and detach the bike. Maybe someone more experienced can do it better. But on my bike, I struggle a lot and I have even scratched it with a heavy heart.
---Very sturdy. Even during intense sprints out of the saddle, you don't feel like you're going to fall or anything.
Overall, very satisfied. But I don't know if it's worth the money for most people.
