It doesn't particularly raise the humidity in the room. I bought the device to increase the humidity in the children's room when they are sick or have a cough.
Essentially, what it does is spray water; it doesn't produce steam. The area around the humidifier will become completely filled with water to such an extent that even placing the device on a towel doesn't fix the situation.
I regret buying it because a kettle with a gas burner does a much better job without soaking the floor and everything around it.
Ideally, I would say it is better as a device for summer to cool you down with the water it sprays.

I bought it for the summer days when it is very dry. I use it in the room when I turn on the air conditioner (note that the air conditioner in cooling mode further dries the space) and it had satisfactory results. From 20% humidity in the bedroom, it increased to 45%. The measurement was taken one night from 00:00 to 07:00 in the morning, and it is unknown how long it took to achieve this. I bought it based on the good reviews it had, for my children's room. I have not been satisfied at all and I have no experience with any other humidifier. Even on the first setting, when I turn it on, it fills everything around it with water. It went into the closet and at least I didn't waste a lot of money

Personally, I saw a big difference and improvement in the sleep of the little one (while being sick).

It does indeed produce a lot of vapor, however, after hours of use, the humidity meter had only increased slightly. With a major issue of bronchitis and cough, I did not see any improvement even with continuous use.

It really makes a difference in the humidity of the space in a very short period of time. Even on the lowest setting, it produces a fairly large mist. On the highest setting, it creates a small pool around it, so I prefer to use the lowest setting which is very effective anyway.
