I believe it is very good for normal dryness but I gave 4 stars because in winter I have a very serious issue and I happened to try it in summer, when the situation was not so difficult to determine if it is effective in such a case. It is, however, very greasy. So, if you don't have a serious issue, you only need a small amount.
