I am an amateur and I use the 2mm very often and the 2.5mm rarely (depending on the type and nature of the work). I always buy the packaged 2.0mm boxes of 3.5 Kg, so they are always sealed, and I don't order random weights because then they come... loose. These particular Greek-made Fincord-M electrodes from ERLIKON are, as always, very good, maybe among the best on the market, with the best quality, and perfect in burning and welding, from any welding position. Easy ignition and comfortable welding at low Amps without 'straining' the welding machine, as has happened to me with other imported electrodes that made things difficult for both me and the machine because they needed more Amps... So with these, apart from the ease of use, there is also an improvement in the Duty Cycle rate of the machine. You can easily use them with any welding machine, IGBT, Inverter, Moving Core, or Fixed Transformer, even with the cheapest Chinese ones on the market. Personally, for the past 4 years, I have had the cheapest Chinese one on the European market at 45 euros, the 'StanWerk MMA-250', which is the corresponding Chinese ZX7-200, which is also portable, and the same device is still available, carbon copy, in various other brands but now a bit improved from the older version I have. This device, together with the use of these specific 2.0mm Fincord-M electrodes from ERLIKON, has served me well in many small and larger jobs. Of course, like all electrodes, they need a lot of care in storage to avoid moisture. The only downside of these is the packaging... the cardboard of the box is very thin and tears and gets damaged easily during transport and handling. I have the impression that a long time ago they had much thicker packaging cardboard and much thicker nylon so you could keep them in their own box... Now I have to put them in my own airtight plastic box.
Ειμαι ερασιτεχνης και χρησιμοποιω πολυ συχνα το 2mm και σπανια το 2.5mm ( Αναλογα το ειδος και την φυση της εργασιας). Αγοραζω παντα τα συσκευασμενα κουτια 2.0mm των 3.5 Kg, για να ειναι και να ερχονται παντα σφραγισμενα, και δεν παραγγελνω οτι να ναι σε κιλα γιατι μετα ερχονται..... χυμα. Τα συγκεκριμενα Ελληνικης Κατασκευης Ηλεκτροδια Fincord-M της ERLIKON ειναι οπως παντα απο παλια πολυ καλα, και ισως και απο τα καλυτερα της αγορας, με την καλυτερη ποιοτητα, και αψογα σε καυση και κολλημα, απο οποιαδηποτε θεση κολληματος. Ανετη Εκκινηση και ανετο κολλημα με χαμηλα Amper χωρις να "ζοριζει" την συσκευη ηλεκτροκολλησης, οπως μου εχει τυχει με αλλα ηλεκτροδια εισαγωγης που ταλαιπωρουσαν και εμενα και την συσκευη γιατι ηθελαν περισσοτερα Αmper.......Eτσι με τα συγκεκριμενα εκτος απο την ανεση στην χρηση, υπαρχει και βελτιωση στο ποσοστο του Κυκλου Eργασιας της συσκευης. Μπορεις να τα δουλεψεις ανετα με οποιαδηποτε συσκευη Ηλεκτροκολλησης, IGBT, Inverter, Κινητου Πυρηνα, ή Σταθερου Μ/Σ ακομα και με τις πιο φθηνες κινεζικες της αγορας. Προσωπικα εδω και μια 4ετια εχω και την πιο φθηνη κινεζικη της Ευρωπαικης Αγορας στα 45e την "StanWerk MMA-250" η οποια ειναι η αντιστοιχη Κινεζικη ZX7-200 η οποια ειναι και φορητη, και η ιδια συσκευη βγαινει ακομα καρμπον, φασον και σωριδον σε διαφορες αλλες μαρκες αλλά λιγο πιο βελτιωμενη πια απο την παλιοτερη εκδοση που εχω εγω. Αυτη η συσκευη μαζι με την χρηση των συγκεκριμενων ηλεκτροδιων 2.0mm Fincord-M της ΕΡΛΙΚΟΝ με εχει βγαλει παλικαρι σε πολλες εργασιες μικρες και μεγαλυτερες. Οπωσδηποτε οπως ολα τα Ηλεκτροδια θελουν παρα παρα πολυ προσοχη στην αποθηκευση να μην παρουν υγρασια. Το μονο μειον που εχουν τα συγκεκριμενα ειναι η συσκευασια......το χαρτονι απο το κουτι ειναι πολυ λεπτο και σκιζεται και χαλαει ευκολα σε μεταφορα και μετακινησεις. Εχω την εντυπωση οτι πολυ παλιοτερα ειχαν πολυ πιο χοντρο χαρτονι συσκευασιας και πολυ πιο χοντρο ναυλον που μπορουσες να τα διατηρουσες στο ιδιο το κουτι τους.....Τωρα αναγκαζομαι να τα βαζω σε δικο μου πλαστικο αεροστεγες κουτι.

I have been disappointed lately, the quality has changed significantly.
Many interruptions of the arc, also several times I noticed that the electrode was melting on one side, resulting in it not sticking to the correct point where I was leading it.
I should note that I am an experienced welder and I used electrodes from different boxes that were not purchased at the same place, so I exclude the possibility of moisture or a problem in a batch.
It's a shame that such a big company has such results in its products

Πολλές διακοπές του βολταικου τόξου, επίσης αρκετές φορές παρατήρησα ότι το ηλεκτρόδιο έλιωνε από την μία πλευρά με αποτέλεσμα να μην κολλά στο σωστό σημείο που το οδηγούσα.
Να σημειώσω ότι είμαι έμπειρος συγκολλητής και χρησιμοποίησα ηλεκτρόδια από διαφορετικά κουτιά που δεν αγοράστηκαν στο ίδιο σημείο, αρα αποκλείω το ενδεχόμενο υγρασίας η προβλήματος σε μια παρτίδα..

Εχω την εντυπωση οτι πολυ παλιοτερα ειχαν πολυ πιο χοντρο χαρτονι συσκευασιας και πολυ πιο χοντρο ναυλον που μπορουσες να τα διατηρουσες στο ιδιο το κουτι τους.....Τωρα αναγκαζομαι να τα βαζω σε δικο μου πλαστικο αεροστεγες κουτι.

I have been disappointed lately, the quality has changed significantly.
Many interruptions of the arc, also several times I noticed that the electrode was melting on one side, resulting in it not sticking to the correct point where I was leading it.
I should note that I am an experienced welder and I used electrodes from different boxes that were not purchased at the same place, so I exclude the possibility of moisture or a problem in a batch.

Με έχουν απογοητεύσει τελευταία, εχει αλλάξει κατά πολύ η ποιότητα.
Πολλές διακοπές του βολταικου τόξου, επίσης αρκετές φορές παρατήρησα ότι το ηλεκτρόδιο έλιωνε από την μία πλευρά με αποτέλεσμα να μην κολλά στο σωστό σημείο που το οδηγούσα.
Να σημειώσω ότι είμαι έμπειρος συγκολλητής και χρησιμοποίησα ηλεκτρόδια από διαφορετικά κουτιά που δεν αγοράστηκαν στο ίδιο σημείο, αρα αποκλείω το ενδεχόμενο υγρασίας η προβλήματος σε μια παρτίδα..

I am an amateur and I use the 2mm very often and the 2.5mm rarely (depending on the type and nature of the work). I always buy the packaged 2.0mm boxes of 3.5 Kg, so they are always sealed, and I don't order random weights because then they come... loose. These particular Greek-made Fincord-M electrodes from ERLIKON are, as always, very good, maybe among the best on the market, with the best quality, and perfect in burning and welding, from any welding position. Easy ignition and comfortable welding at low Amps without 'straining' the welding machine, as has happened to me with other imported electrodes that made things difficult for both me and the machine because they needed more Amps... So with these, apart from the ease of use, there is also an improvement in the Duty Cycle rate of the machine. You can easily use them with any welding machine, IGBT, Inverter, Moving Core, or Fixed Transformer, even with the cheapest Chinese ones on the market. Personally, for the past 4 years, I have had the cheapest Chinese one on the European market at 45 euros, the 'StanWerk MMA-250', which is the corresponding Chinese ZX7-200, which is also portable, and the same device is still available, carbon copy, in various other brands but now a bit improved from the older version I have. This device, together with the use of these specific 2.0mm Fincord-M electrodes from ERLIKON, has served me well in many small and larger jobs. Of course, like all electrodes, they need a lot of care in storage to avoid moisture. The only downside of these is the packaging... the cardboard of the box is very thin and tears and gets damaged easily during transport and handling. I have the impression that a long time ago they had much thicker packaging cardboard and much thicker nylon so you could keep them in their own box... Now I have to put them in my own airtight plastic box.
Ειμαι ερασιτεχνης και χρησιμοποιω πολυ συχνα το 2mm και σπανια το 2.5mm ( Αναλογα το ειδος και την φυση της εργασιας). Αγοραζω παντα τα συσκευασμενα κουτια 2.0mm των 3.5 Kg, για να ειναι και να ερχονται παντα σφραγισμενα, και δεν παραγγελνω οτι να ναι σε κιλα γιατι μετα ερχονται..... χυμα. Τα συγκεκριμενα Ελληνικης Κατασκευης Ηλεκτροδια Fincord-M της ERLIKON ειναι οπως παντα απο παλια πολυ καλα, και ισως και απο τα καλυτερα της αγορας, με την καλυτερη ποιοτητα, και αψογα σε καυση και κολλημα, απο οποιαδηποτε θεση κολληματος. Ανετη Εκκινηση και ανετο κολλημα με χαμηλα Amper χωρις να "ζοριζει" την συσκευη ηλεκτροκολλησης, οπως μου εχει τυχει με αλλα ηλεκτροδια εισαγωγης που ταλαιπωρουσαν και εμενα και την συσκευη γιατι ηθελαν περισσοτερα Αmper.......Eτσι με τα συγκεκριμενα εκτος απο την ανεση στην χρηση, υπαρχει και βελτιωση στο ποσοστο του Κυκλου Eργασιας της συσκευης. Μπορεις να τα δουλεψεις ανετα με οποιαδηποτε συσκευη Ηλεκτροκολλησης, IGBT, Inverter, Κινητου Πυρηνα, ή Σταθερου Μ/Σ ακομα και με τις πιο φθηνες κινεζικες της αγορας. Προσωπικα εδω και μια 4ετια εχω και την πιο φθηνη κινεζικη της Ευρωπαικης Αγορας στα 45e την "StanWerk MMA-250" η οποια ειναι η αντιστοιχη Κινεζικη ZX7-200 η οποια ειναι και φορητη, και η ιδια συσκευη βγαινει ακομα καρμπον, φασον και σωριδον σε διαφορες αλλες μαρκες αλλά λιγο πιο βελτιωμενη πια απο την παλιοτερη εκδοση που εχω εγω. Αυτη η συσκευη μαζι με την χρηση των συγκεκριμενων ηλεκτροδιων 2.0mm Fincord-M της ΕΡΛΙΚΟΝ με εχει βγαλει παλικαρι σε πολλες εργασιες μικρες και μεγαλυτερες. Οπωσδηποτε οπως ολα τα Ηλεκτροδια θελουν παρα παρα πολυ προσοχη στην αποθηκευση να μην παρουν υγρασια. Το μονο μειον που εχουν τα συγκεκριμενα ειναι η συσκευασια......το χαρτονι απο το κουτι ειναι πολυ λεπτο και σκιζεται και χαλαει ευκολα σε μεταφορα και μετακινησεις. Εχω την εντυπωση οτι πολυ παλιοτερα ειχαν πολυ πιο χοντρο χαρτονι συσκευασιας και πολυ πιο χοντρο ναυλον που μπορουσες να τα διατηρουσες στο ιδιο το κουτι τους.....Τωρα αναγκαζομαι να τα βαζω σε δικο μου πλαστικο αεροστεγες κουτι.
