    I trusted the reviews of other users and bought it because of its compatibility with ASUS motherboards. On my motherboard, an ASUS Z-170A, it did not fit due to the different layout of the pins. Specifically, the outer pin (PIN 1) of the 14 pins on the card is closed, while for it to be compatible with the motherboard, PIN 10 must be closed (see photo of the corresponding product from Amazon). Before purchasing, choose the pin layout of your motherboard.
