I have been using this processor for about 4 years. I used it for video editing, rendering, and casual gaming. I use it on a daily basis since then, along with a 1050 ti and 16gb of RAM from Gskill. Although it is not meant for these tasks, this processor worked decently without many crashes in Davinci Resolve. Overall, it is a decent processor for its price. It says 4 cores. It constantly hits 100 out of 100 and freezes incredibly often. It's the worst thing that exists in a quad-core processor. I am very disappointed that I have it. My PC hardware is Intel Core i3 10th gen 10100, with 16GB 2666MHz RAM, Asus GTX 1060 GDDR5 3GB graphics card, and a hard disk space system with a 240GB SSD and 1TB. I purchased it with Windows 11 Home edition!!

For its price, it is an excellent processor. After a decade with AMD, I needed a second PC. Nowadays, prices for Ryzen have skyrocketed. So, I went with Intel and i3. I use it for Video Editing, among other things. I've been using it for a month and I'm amazed. It has handled everything I've thrown at it flawlessly. No overheating or freezing. I paired it with the MSI Z490-A PRO and HyperX Predator 16GB DDR4 3200 MHz, plus an NVMe, and it works like a charm. When I have the money, I will get a good graphics card (when prices drop) and in the future, an i5.

The most value for money for the use I want... Social, movies, music... Combined with an MSI B460 Tomahawk, 16 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666 with XMP, Nvidia 730, 500 W Be Quiet 11 SM Gold, and an SSD... I haven't seen temperatures above 35 C. Absolutely satisfied!

Monster for a processor. I changed it 2 months ago from an i3 6th generation and I can say that it easily compares to many 8th-9th generation i5 and even i7. The only thing I would change is the cooler (because this specific one comes with a cooler) if it is intended for gaming because it slightly raises temperatures in demanding games.

For its price, it is a very good processor, better than the 7th generation i5. Be careful before buying it because it doesn't have graphics (you need to have a graphics card). It is possibly the most value-for-money processor for those who don't have more money to spend. It works perfectly when combined with an Asrock b460m pro.

Unbelievable, very economical both in price and consumption, never gets stuck anywhere, works perfectly with almost all graphics cards. It stays at 35 degrees in idle temperatures, and in gaming with serious games like Warzone, in combination with a GTX 1060 3GB, I have seen it struggle up to 60 degrees. It is the definition of value for money as it has better performance than processors that cost twice as much.

It does not resemble the i3s we knew, compared to the 7th generation i7s. With its cooler at 26 degrees room temperature, it stays at around 35 degrees and never exceeds 50-55 degrees, even in a mediocre case with just one fan. This model does not have graphics

For its price (I bought it for 85 euros), it's great. The cooler was quite noisy, so I replaced it with a cheap and quieter one. It did the job for simple use. When I pushed it with more demanding tasks, it raised temperatures (with the cheap cooler). In short, if you want to push it, get a good aftermarket cooler. I would buy this processor again.

It was purchased a month ago for an upgrade from the previous amd FX-8120. Due to the coronavirus chaos, the prices of ryzen 3 have skyrocketed without any performance differences compared to intel i3. It was combined with a 460 motherboard and 2666mhz ram, and of course an ssd. With the appropriate gpu, it can handle everything.

For me, it is one of the most powerful processors and in general Intel always does an exceptional job, especially with the Intel i3 10100f which allows you to play at high settings with 120fps

Along with the 10400f, the 10100f is one of the most value-for-money options for a cheap but capable processor. Similar or better performance than the i5 8400, and on par or better than the R5 2600. An excellent processor for €90+ with 4 cores/8 threads

- Whatever I say is not enough. I mainly play games like CS:GO, LoL, and PUBG, and I haven't encountered any issues. I always get over 144 FPS, there are no lag spikes or freezes. It doesn't struggle much and runs everything smoothly and quickly. It was preferred over other processors like the Ryzen 3 3100, which is around the same price, because this Intel one has much better Single Core performance and has hyper-threading.
Also, with this specific motherboard, it was preferred in order to have the advantage of firstly running the RAM at 3200 MHz, which noticeably improves FPS, and secondly for future processor upgrades.

Don't ask too many questions, it's a steal at 80 euros, together with a 1050 ti / 1650 it's the most budget gaming option you'll find in late 2020
