The board game The Great Dalmuti is a strategic card game in which players try to get rid of their cards first and claim the highest position in the hierarchy. The deck includes 80 cards ranked from 12 to 1, plus two Jokers, which act as wild cards and can be played with cards of another rank. Lower numbers correspond to higher ranks, and each rank also indicates how many cards of that rank are in the deck.
On each turn, players play one or more cards of the same rank onto the table, or pass. To continue the round, a player must play the same number of cards of a higher rank. When all the other players pass, the cards are cleared, and the last player to play starts the next round. Once all players have gone out, they are ranked according to the order in which they got rid of their cards, and change positions for the next round.
