The Prestan interactive training manikin simulates a child’s body for practicing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and BLS/AED training. The LED light metronome indicates the rate and depth of chest compressions, while the click mechanism provides an audible cue when compressions are performed with the correct force. Air is blown into the lung bag when tilting the head correctly opens the airway, causing the chest to rise.
The lung bag and face mask are secured in dedicated slots, while the realistic-textured skin is suitable for training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and protects the electrodes from wear during use.
