My initial contact with this model was through some channels I follow on YouTube, where they said that it is incredible what it offers in relation to its price.
I admit that Orient as a brand was known to me, but I wouldn't have chosen it if I was actively looking for a piece.
So, having the good testimony of the presenters, its general dimensions that were compatible with my wrist, plus the fact of its low price (182€), I looked at the series and got stuck on the red dial. I always wanted a watch with a red dial and I had spotted one that, even if it wasn't really to my taste when I finally wore it, it was worth the trouble to go for it.
Here I will note that my decision is closely related to the Skroutz return guarantee. If it didn't exist, I wouldn't buy a watch before wearing it. So, well done Skroutz for this commercial move.
Specifically: the watch is easy to wear - it is quite light and compact for everyday use, it is very legible even in the dark, the case has a nice polish, it is waterproof up to 200m so I wash my hands while wearing it without thinking about it, it has an amazing shade on the dial that even now, after more than a month, I look at it and it excites me, the bezel is tight enough not to turn without wanting it to, the crown has a very sturdy feel - I don't worry at all - and there are no visible scratches. And in general, I hear good comments...
As for the cons, I will only say that the mechanism is not particularly accurate (3Hz/21600vph) but perfectly acceptable for the price it is sold, and that the bracelet could be somewhat higher quality (it also feels and sounds light and also has some edges that have snagged my hand towels, I know, let me take it off when I wash my hands, but with a Seiko PADI Solar of 300€ this had never happened).
Overall, I consider it an excellent purchase and I would say easy, so much so that I am considering some other colors lately... ;-)
