I bought it on 02/02/2023 as a replacement for the previous one (same model) that I had since 31/03/2012. It responds with absolute accuracy to movements and is very ergonomic for my hand. I consider it excellent for my needs. And it is very durable.

Excellent mouse for users with medium-sized hands. It has amazing precision, is lightweight, and is easily adjustable through Logitech's Logi Options+ software. After countless wireless mice, I kept returning to the incredibly reliable and irreplaceable wired Logitech M-BQ85, which was purchased many, many years ago. I started to believe that I would never find a worthy successor to it until the M500s came into my hands. Rest in Peace M-BQ85.
Update after about 11 months: For about a month now, the mouse disconnects very frequently and reconnects almost immediately, making the related connection sound on a USB port. I assumed the drivers were to blame and took steps to update the drivers, Logitech software, etc. I tried another wired & wireless Logitech mouse and they had no issues. So I assume it's a hardware problem with this particular mouse

Μετά από πάμπολλα wireless ποντίκια επέστρεφα κατά καιρούς στο αξιοπιστότατο και αναντικατάστατο wired Logitech M-BQ85 το οποίο είχε αγοραστεί πριν από πολλά πολλά χρόνια. Άρχισα να πιστεύω πως τελικά δε θα βρω κάποιο αντίστοιχο άξιο διάδοχό του, μεχρι που έπεσε στα χέρια μου το Μ500s.

Update μετα απο 11 μηνες περιπου: Εδώ και 1 μήνα περίπου το ποντίκι αποσυνδέεται πολύ συχνά και ξαναδυνδέεται σχεδόν αμέσως κάνοντας το σχετικό ήχο σύνδεσης σε θύρα usb. Υπέθεσα ότι φταίνε οι drivers και έκανα ενέργειες update των drivers, software της logitech κλπ. Δοκίμασα άλλο ενσύρματο & ασύρματο ποντίκι της logitech και δεν είχαν κανένα πρόβλημα. Οπότε υποθέτω ότι είναι πρόβλημα hardware του συγκεκριμένου ποντικιού

In less than 2 months of use, it presented a problem with the wheel without any burden, fall, or misuse. I come from MICROSOFT PRO INTELLIMOUSE which lasted for some years, not one and a half months, but is no longer available in the market. Unfortunately, this is not the first time Logitech disappoints me.
Σε λιγότερο από 2 μήνες χρήσης παρουσίασε πρόβλημα στη ροδέλα χωρίς καμία επιβάρυνση, πτώση ή κακή χρήση. Προέρχομαι από MICROSOFT PRO INTELLIMOUSE το οποίο κράτησε κάποια χρόνια, όχι ενάμιση μήνα, αλλά δεν υπάρχει πλέον στην αγορά. Δυστυχώς δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά που με απογοητεύει η Logitech.
Edit: A year later and the plastic under the button contact sank, causing it to leave the mouse drag halfway.

It is a good and honest mouse.
Heavy for gaming, which will show when you miss that pixel for the headshot, but extremely durable (it's not the first of this series that I've bought).
It's a mouse like an old car, simple, you open it for cleaning and maintenance ;)
Edit: Ένα χρόνο μετά και το πλαστικό κάτω στην επαφή των κουμπιών βούλιαξε, με αποτέλεσμα να αφήνει στη μέση της διαδρομής ότι κάνει drag το ποντίκι.

Είναι καλό και τίμιο ποντίκι.
Βαρύ για gaming που θα φανεί όταν θα προσπεράσεις αυτό το pixel για το headshot, αλλά εξαιρετικά ανθεκτικό (δεν είναι το πρώτο της σειράς αυτής που έχω πάρει).
Είναι ποντίκι σαν παλιό αμάξι, απλό, το ανοίγεις για καθάρισμα και συντήρηση ;)
I bought it for the office because my wrist was hurting when I used the touchpad.
Overall, I am very satisfied. At first, it seemed a bit big (definitely bigger than any mice I had before), but in the end, it fits my hand very well.
The only reason I deducted one star is because sometimes the speed at which the page moves when I scroll does not match the speed at which I move the wheel. However, even with this issue, I would buy it again.

I bought the mouse since my old simple Microsoft mouse broke its wheel after 14 years of use. I mainly work with Autocad and heavily rely on the scroll wheel button for the pan command. Unfortunately, the mouse turned out to be defective as the specific button would work whenever it wanted and was also very stiff. I returned it and luckily got my money back.
Αγόρασα το ποντίκι καθότι το παλιό απλό ποντίκι που είχα της Microsoft χάλασε το ροδάκι του μετά από 14 χρόνια χρήσης. Εργάζομαι ως επι το πλείστον σε Autocad και χρησιμοποιώ κατά κόρον το πλήκτρο του τροχού για την εντολή pan. Δυστυχώς το ποντίκι αποδείχθηκε ελαττωματικό καθότι το συγκεκριμένο πλήκτρο λειτουργούσε όποτε ήθελε ενώ ήταν και πολύ σκληρό. Το επέστρεψα και ευτυχώς πήρα τα χρήματά μου πίσω.
After 3 years of use both at the office and at home, I have to say that this is an exceptional product and an amazing mouse.
For those who complain about the scroll wheel "only stopping with the hand"... what can I say, guys? Did you read the manual, dudes? The button below the scroll wheel does that job, it adjusts the scrolling speed and it's PERFECT.
Also, the scroll wheel is 4D, it does side scrolling in addition to moving up and down. It's so useful and addictive that I miss it on my wireless mouse that I bought for my laptop.
Well, needless to say, I had no issues with the buttons, etc. But even if a button breaks, you open it, replace it, and it works just fine. All the switches have a specific lifespan, whether for mice or mechanical keyboards.
As for the weight and size, it's perfect. It's the "classic" mouse size that we're used to, and it has a gentle slope on the right side that gives extra comfort to the wrist.
I will buy it again, because I want it for my second workstation.
Μετά από χρήση 3 ετών και στο γραφείο αλλά και στο σπίτι, έχω να πω πως πρόκειται για εξαιρετικό προϊόν και καταπληκτικό ποντίκι.
Για όποιον παραπονιέται για την ροδέλα "πως σταματά μόνο με το χέρι"... τι να πω ρε σεις; Διαβάσατε το manual ρε παλικάρια;; Το κουμπάκι κάτω από την ροδέλα κάνει αυτη την δουλειά, ρυθμίζει την ταχύτητα κύλισης και είναι ΤΕΛΕΙΟ.
Επίσης η ροδέλα είναι 4D, κάνει side scrolling πέρα από το να κινείται πάνω κάτω. Είναι τόσο χρήσιμο και εθιστικό που μου λείπει στο ασύρματο ποντίκι μου που πήρα για το λαπτοπ.
Καλά, για τα κουμπιά κτλ περιττό να πω πως δεν είχα πρόβλημα, αλλά και κουμπί να χαλάσει, το ανοιγεις, το αντικαθιστάς και παίζει μια χαρά. Όλοι οι διακόπτες έχουν συγκεκριμένη διάρκεια ζωής, είτε για ποντίκια είτε για μηχανικά πληκτρολόγια.
Όσο για βάρος και ογκομετρία, είναι τέλειο. Είναι το "κλασσικό" μέγεθος ποντικιού που έχουμε συνηθίσει, και έχει μια απαλή κλίση στα δεξιά που του δίνει και έξτρα άνεση στον καρπό.
Θα το αγοράσω ξανά, διότι το θέλω και για το 2ο workstation μου.

I have been using it for 10+ years on both Windows and Mac. It has been incredibly convenient for me, especially the side buttons. I am a developer and I use it for about 10 hours a day. There are drivers available for OS X (as well as for Windows - of course), but you won't need them. This is the second one I have replaced, and if I replace it again, I will get the same one.

Years user of the M500 and due to wear I decided to upgrade to the new M500s.
The new one now uses Logitech Options instead of SetPoint for settings.
In the old one, I used SetPoint 4.8 because in the later versions you couldn't set a button to be a middle button in a specific program.
In Options, you can now do that. But you don't have the abundance of settings that SetPoint has in movement, e.g. acceleration, etc. It only has pointer speed and nothing else.
The old one has laser tracking at 1000dpi while the new one has High Precision Optical tracking at 400-4000dpi.
It says it's adjustable but I can't find any settings in Options, so it's probably real-time adjustable.
Anyway, I didn't notice any difference.
Χρόνια χρήστης του Μ500 και λόγω φθοράς είπα να το ανανεώσω στο νέο M500s.
To νέο πλέον χρησιμοποιεί το Logitech Options αντι του SetPoint για τις ρυθμίσεις.
Στο παλιό χρησιμοποιούσα το Setpoint 4.8 γιατι απο τις επόμενες εκδόσεις δεν μπορούσες να ρυθμίσεις κάποιο κουμπί σε middle button σε συγκεκριμένο πρόγραμμα.
Στο Options πλέον μπορεις. Αλλα δεν έχεις την πλυθόρα ρυθμίσεων που έχει το Setpoint στην κίνηση, π.χ. acceleration κτλ. Εχει μόνο pointer speed και τιποτα άλλο.
Το παλιό έχει laser tracking 1000dpi ενώ το νέο έχει High Precision Optical tracking 400-4000dpi.

In less than 2 months of use, it presented a problem with the wheel without any burden, fall, or misuse. I come from MICROSOFT PRO INTELLIMOUSE which lasted for some years, not one and a half months, but is no longer available in the market. Unfortunately, this is not the first time Logitech disappoints me.
Σε λιγότερο από 2 μήνες χρήσης παρουσίασε πρόβλημα στη ροδέλα χωρίς καμία επιβάρυνση, πτώση ή κακή χρήση. Προέρχομαι από MICROSOFT PRO INTELLIMOUSE το οποίο κράτησε κάποια χρόνια, όχι ενάμιση μήνα, αλλά δεν υπάρχει πλέον στην αγορά. Δυστυχώς δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά που με απογοητεύει η Logitech.
Edit: A year later and the plastic under the button contact sank, causing it to leave the mouse drag halfway.
Planned obsolescence I guess.

It is a good and honest mouse.
Heavy for gaming, which will show when you miss that pixel for the headshot, but extremely durable (it's not the first of this series that I've bought).
It's a mouse like an old car, simple, you open it for cleaning and maintenance ;)
Edit: Ένα χρόνο μετά και το πλαστικό κάτω στην επαφή των κουμπιών βούλιαξε, με αποτέλεσμα να αφήνει στη μέση της διαδρομής ότι κάνει drag το ποντίκι.

Είναι καλό και τίμιο ποντίκι.
Βαρύ για gaming που θα φανεί όταν θα προσπεράσεις αυτό το pixel για το headshot, αλλά εξαιρετικά ανθεκτικό (δεν είναι το πρώτο της σειράς αυτής που έχω πάρει).
Είναι ποντίκι σαν παλιό αμάξι, απλό, το ανοίγεις για καθάρισμα και συντήρηση ;)
I bought it for the office because my wrist was hurting when I used the touchpad.
Overall, I am very satisfied. At first, it seemed a bit big (definitely bigger than any mice I had before), but in the end, it fits my hand very well.
The only reason I deducted one star is because sometimes the speed at which the page moves when I scroll does not match the speed at which I move the wheel. However, even with this issue, I would buy it again.
Το πήρα για το γραφειο γιατί με πόναγε ο καρπός μου όταν χρησιμοποιούσα το touchpad.
Γενικά είμαι πολύ ικανοποιημένη. Στην αρχή μου φάνηκε κάπως μεγάλο (σίγουρα είναι μεγαλύτερο από όσα ποντίκια είχα μέχρι τώρα), αλλά τελικά με βολεύει πολύ στο χέρι.
Ο μόνος λόγος που έκοψα ένα αστεράκι είναι γιατί μερικές φορές η ταχύτητα που μετακινείται η σελίδα όταν κάνω scroll δεν ανταποκρίνεται στην ταχύτητα που μετακινώ τον τροχό. Πάντως, ακόμη και με αυτό το θέμα, θα το αγόραζα ξανά.
Although it seemed a bit big for my hand and maybe a little heavy at first, I quickly got used to it. Additionally, the functions with the extra buttons are particularly helpful!

I bought the mouse since my old simple Microsoft mouse broke its wheel after 14 years of use. I mainly work with Autocad and heavily rely on the scroll wheel button for the pan command. Unfortunately, the mouse turned out to be defective as the specific button would work whenever it wanted and was also very stiff. I returned it and luckily got my money back.
Αγόρασα το ποντίκι καθότι το παλιό απλό ποντίκι που είχα της Microsoft χάλασε το ροδάκι του μετά από 14 χρόνια χρήσης. Εργάζομαι ως επι το πλείστον σε Autocad και χρησιμοποιώ κατά κόρον το πλήκτρο του τροχού για την εντολή pan. Δυστυχώς το ποντίκι αποδείχθηκε ελαττωματικό καθότι το συγκεκριμένο πλήκτρο λειτουργούσε όποτε ήθελε ενώ ήταν και πολύ σκληρό. Το επέστρεψα και ευτυχώς πήρα τα χρήματά μου πίσω.
After 3 years of use both at the office and at home, I have to say that this is an exceptional product and an amazing mouse.
For those who complain about the scroll wheel "only stopping with the hand"... what can I say, guys? Did you read the manual, dudes? The button below the scroll wheel does that job, it adjusts the scrolling speed and it's PERFECT.
Also, the scroll wheel is 4D, it does side scrolling in addition to moving up and down. It's so useful and addictive that I miss it on my wireless mouse that I bought for my laptop.
Well, needless to say, I had no issues with the buttons, etc. But even if a button breaks, you open it, replace it, and it works just fine. All the switches have a specific lifespan, whether for mice or mechanical keyboards.
As for the weight and size, it's perfect. It's the "classic" mouse size that we're used to, and it has a gentle slope on the right side that gives extra comfort to the wrist.
I will buy it again, because I want it for my second workstation.
Μετά από χρήση 3 ετών και στο γραφείο αλλά και στο σπίτι, έχω να πω πως πρόκειται για εξαιρετικό προϊόν και καταπληκτικό ποντίκι.
Για όποιον παραπονιέται για την ροδέλα "πως σταματά μόνο με το χέρι"... τι να πω ρε σεις; Διαβάσατε το manual ρε παλικάρια;; Το κουμπάκι κάτω από την ροδέλα κάνει αυτη την δουλειά, ρυθμίζει την ταχύτητα κύλισης και είναι ΤΕΛΕΙΟ.
Επίσης η ροδέλα είναι 4D, κάνει side scrolling πέρα από το να κινείται πάνω κάτω. Είναι τόσο χρήσιμο και εθιστικό που μου λείπει στο ασύρματο ποντίκι μου που πήρα για το λαπτοπ.
Καλά, για τα κουμπιά κτλ περιττό να πω πως δεν είχα πρόβλημα, αλλά και κουμπί να χαλάσει, το ανοιγεις, το αντικαθιστάς και παίζει μια χαρά. Όλοι οι διακόπτες έχουν συγκεκριμένη διάρκεια ζωής, είτε για ποντίκια είτε για μηχανικά πληκτρολόγια.
Όσο για βάρος και ογκομετρία, είναι τέλειο. Είναι το "κλασσικό" μέγεθος ποντικιού που έχουμε συνηθίσει, και έχει μια απαλή κλίση στα δεξιά που του δίνει και έξτρα άνεση στον καρπό.
Θα το αγοράσω ξανά, διότι το θέλω και για το 2ο workstation μου.

I have been using it for 10+ years on both Windows and Mac. It has been incredibly convenient for me, especially the side buttons. I am a developer and I use it for about 10 hours a day. There are drivers available for OS X (as well as for Windows - of course), but you won't need them. This is the second one I have replaced, and if I replace it again, I will get the same one.

Years user of the M500 and due to wear I decided to upgrade to the new M500s.
The new one now uses Logitech Options instead of SetPoint for settings.
In the old one, I used SetPoint 4.8 because in the later versions you couldn't set a button to be a middle button in a specific program.
In Options, you can now do that. But you don't have the abundance of settings that SetPoint has in movement, e.g. acceleration, etc. It only has pointer speed and nothing else.
The old one has laser tracking at 1000dpi while the new one has High Precision Optical tracking at 400-4000dpi.
It says it's adjustable but I can't find any settings in Options, so it's probably real-time adjustable.
Anyway, I didn't notice any difference.
Χρόνια χρήστης του Μ500 και λόγω φθοράς είπα να το ανανεώσω στο νέο M500s.
To νέο πλέον χρησιμοποιεί το Logitech Options αντι του SetPoint για τις ρυθμίσεις.
Στο παλιό χρησιμοποιούσα το Setpoint 4.8 γιατι απο τις επόμενες εκδόσεις δεν μπορούσες να ρυθμίσεις κάποιο κουμπί σε middle button σε συγκεκριμένο πρόγραμμα.
Στο Options πλέον μπορεις. Αλλα δεν έχεις την πλυθόρα ρυθμίσεων που έχει το Setpoint στην κίνηση, π.χ. acceleration κτλ. Εχει μόνο pointer speed και τιποτα άλλο.
