    First of all, the description is wrong. It works for both 3.2" drives and 2.5" drives. It provides adapters for the 2.5" drives.
    Now. If something bothered me, it is that it only comes with a USB type C to Type C cable. If you don't have a Type C port, you will need to get a Type C to Type A cable. ATTENTION! However, to achieve the maximum speed of the USB 3.1 gen 2 port it has, you will need to get a corresponding cable. Anything less WILL NOT reach the 10Mbps of USB 3.1 gen 2. We are not talking about cables from mobile phone chargers.
    Note these cables are expensive! (maybe that's why they only send one cable.)
    For the RAID part and thus the backup it offers as a device, I have no opinion or experience. I put inside 2x10 Tb Seagate Exos in JBOD mode so the drives are recognized as two separate 10TB drives. Then I set them up as raid 1 (mirror) through Windows 11 Storage Spaces. I preferred this solution because it offers me data protection both from the failure of one drive BUT also if the ICY box fails I can remove the drives and even connect them as internal drives in a Windows 11 machine and they will be recognized normally as raid 1. This solution is tested.
    Finally, in the raid 1 setup, the transfer rates are a dream!!! From local SSD to Icybox minimum 250MB/sec with peaks even up to 600MB/sec. From the drives to the SSD, 250MB/sec steadily. But this is when connected to a USB 3.1 gen 2 port.

    My evaluation of the temperatures was wrong. When transferring large files the drives literally 'boil'!!!! you can't touch them. The little fan pushes nothing and the plastic case does not help at all with heat dissipation. Also, there are no ventilation holes except at the bottom. I was forced to remove the case and improvise a USB fan so the drives stay within the manufacturer's recommended temperatures. I remove 3 stars from the review and leave only 2 because it achieves excellent speeds.
