Installing the hard drive is very easy, you remove two screws and remove the board to which the hard drive is connected.
I installed a Seagate Ironwolf Pro 8TB and I use it as an external backup drive. The recognition was immediate, although I had to format the hard drive for the system to detect it, but I believe this is due to the fact that it is a NAS drive. Satisfactory speeds of 140-160 mb/s on a USB 3 port.
It does not have any ventilation holes. Personally, I have the hard drive outside the case because it gets quite hot, so I only use the board to connect the hard drive to the laptop.
A very fair choice for its price, although I would have liked the support to have the hard drive in a horizontal position instead of vertical, for more safety. If you choose to have the case in a horizontal position, be aware that it does not have non-slip rubber except on the support base.
